“Mykenzie and her husband took amazing care of our dog who needed a little more attention than typical drop off. Great communication/pic updates and lovely home/yard! Would absolutely book again!”

“Patrick was amazing with Griffey! Griffey became friends quickly with their dogs and looked like he had a blast playing the whole week. Patrick was amazing about sending updates and pictures, and was very organized with making sure all of Griffey’s things came back with him. Griffey came home a very happy dog and even learned a new cool trick!”

“I received daily pictures and videos of my dog. She came back to me brushed and in good spirits. 10/10 would recommend this sitter again, and will be rebooking when I need it. Excellent care!”

“Dakota was great! She took really good care of my dog, and sent wonderful pictures and videos of my dog while we were away. My dog really enjoyed his stay with her. I would totally recommend her!”
“Carmen was a life saver! We needed a last minute sitter for the 4th of July weekend. Not only did Carmen respond quickly, but also did some schedule shifting to accommodate our last minute needs. We have a 120lb bullmastiff who is a big teddy bear, but gets pretty excited around dogs and people. He was no problem for Carmen. Throughout our stay we got pictures and updates on how he was doing, acrivities they were doing, or how he was he f comforted when he was stressed/anxious (fireworks). Carmen was always prompt and courteous with communication on anything we needed. We would absolutely recommend Carmen to anyone. 12/10! Thank you Carmen! Roman had a blast!”

About: I grew up on a farm. I have a Poodle mix and a chihuahua. I grew up around German shepherds. Mutts, husky’s, chihuahuas, mini dachshund, too many to name. So you can say I do have a little bit of vet experience, both my parents are are retired teachers. I have a 4 year old daughter. I will treat your pets like my own, love them as my own. Care for them as my one. You are more than welcome to come and meet me first. They are more than welcome to get on the bed and the couch. If you have any questions please call or text me. I hope you choose me for your pet care taker. I’m home all day, I’m a mom to a 6 year old daughter. I have a senior dog, who I give medication to, I know the responsibility to care for mans best friend! I don’t have a fenced yard, my dogs roam free they never leave the property, I live with my parents for the time being! I’m an animal lover! There are 11 dogs on the farm, I personally have 2 dogs!
“We highly recommend Mekena and if we ever need someone to dog sit again we will definitely be coming back! Mekena took great care of our senior dog! She was attentive to all his medical needs and grooming. She sent pictures and updates which was really appreciated! I would give more stars if I could!”

“Very grateful for animals lovers like Mariah. She was very patient with Dutton and kept him busy, entertained and well loved. Really appreciated the communication and pictures.”

“Gina is a godsend! We have two very attached girls that are high energy and picky, and Gina's large fenced property and willingness to treat our girls as if they were her own are the precise reasons we would recommend her to anyone and will continue to only use her when we need someone trustworthy to take care of our girls while we are away. Gina's large fully fenced grassy yard was our dogs favorite, and she even offered toys, beds and personalized hands-on medication and hand feeding when either health or nerves were affecting our girls. They know here by name and aren't even nervous to go with her now, as they used to be when we used local kenneling facilities. We are so glad to have found her. Thanks for everything!”

About: I’ve raised newborn puppies, potty trained them, and cared for dogs, cats, horses, and bunnies—feeding, walking, bathing, and providing gentle basic training with patience, love, and consistency. As a part-time student, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time for pet care! I’m available Monday–Friday from 10am–3:30pm, with weekend availability often open too—just message me to check! In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable and happy. I make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for—whether that means daily walks, playtime, clean food and water, or cozy downtime. I respect your space, keep things tidy, and treat your home and pets like they’re my own.
About: I am from Tri Cities and have a passion for animals! I have 2 cats and two dachshunds of my own. I have watched a few of my friends dogs in the past, ranging different sizes. I would love to take your dog(s) for a walk! I currently work full time Mon- Fri, with time available after work or on weekends through the day. Would love to incorporate more animals in to my life since I cannot adopt anymore! We have a big house and fenced yard for animals to enjoy. Both of my cats are indoors and escape artists, so I am used to being very careful and attentive. I understand it is nerve wracking to have someone else watch over your pets and hope that they don’t escape their sight. I promise to do my very best to provide an attentive, loving, friendly approach with your animals. Both of my dogs are Dachsunds, meaning I am used to the most stubborn dog on the planet. I also understand the importance of home modifications for them to live happily and safely with us; so rest assured that I can relate to specific requests and attention to detail when caring for your babies.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, I’ve house sat/ dog watched for my grand parents and a few of my mothers friends on multiple occasions, I’m great at what I do! I have a Pit/Black Lab mix, he’s almost 3 years old now, so pet care has been my everyday life for 3 years now! I spent a lot of time training him. In my own home the dogs are treated like how I would treat my own dog (unless there are specific instructions left by the owner) but basically they’ll get a lot of outside time because I’m constantly in and out of the house working on projects, the minute I come inside the dogs come inside with me. They get alot of love and attention!

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
100% of Grandview sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Grandview landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.
If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Grandview home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Grandview.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Grandview sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
