“My experience with Maggie pet sitting has been phenomenal! When I became ill Maggie was a life saver. My pet, Bella stayed with Maggie and her family for almost a week and received the best care possible. She sent me pictures and text thoughout Bella's entire stay. I missed Bella, but I never worried about her. Maggie's home has a cute and sweet family pet; also polite, kind engaging children and a great dad. It is the perfect environment for a pet sitter. Bella was not only given great care, but she was loved! Desiree L”

About: I have been around dogs all my life, and have learned how to properly train them through experience and good mentors. I also have watched much of The Dog Whisperer & other training videos online. I’ve seen critiques of Cesar Milan, with people saying he’s unnecessarily enforcing dominance roles; I only support dominance hierarchies to the extent that it helps the dog. If a dog believes they must be in control because they don’t have a good leader, they will be more stressed out which is unfair to the dog. I will never be unnecessarily rough with your pet, but I may do exercises like leash training to remind them that I am in control, and they don’t need to be in extreme protector mode. I have used this experience with success on friends’ and acquaintances’ dogs, as well as my own. He sits for over a minute until I tell him to Come, for example. Our housemate had a dying dog and I was there alongside him helping her care for him until his last moments. I also believe in reincarnation which helps me really see and have extra patience with each dog as I see them as a soul who is here to learn and experience. My husband and I have a relaxed lifestyle that allows us to be home most days other than side jobs and catering shifts on the weekends. We are in the midst of moving a couple hours east of here, albeit very slowly, so if your pup is with us for a while there’s a chance he or she will get to see the rural area of Middlesex VA and interact with some chickens! Both areas are far away from a main highway or there is a good fence. I have two friendly dogs, a Pomeranian and a whippet mix. We let them in and out as they choose, and have a couple acres for them to run and play on. I love going for runs and walks and would happily bring your pup along, depending on his or her energy level. I have a healthy understanding of how to keep a healthy leash contact with the dog, and if need be, I am quite strong if I need to keep the dog from running.
10. Susan & Christopher G.
“Susan was very prompt and quick to respond to our last minute request to care for our puppy (Krabby Patty). She was able to take her in for a day of doggie daycare with an early AM drop off/ late PM pick up without any issues. It really put our nerves at ease with all the pictures and updates through out the day and the fact that our PUPPY was exhausted and slept early after pick up showed us how much fun she had at Susan’s! We look forward to using her services in the future whenever we visit and highly recommend her! She is very professional and communicative. Thank you!”
11. Lana P.
“This was the most amazing doggie vacation spot we could have ever dreamed for our 2 pups! Beautiful home and fenced in yard, well behaved doodle and little girl, Lana obviously loves pets and treated them just like they were her own! I cannot wait to go back to Williamsburg and visit and let the pups visit their home away from home again also!!!”
12. Natalie & Caleb H.

13. Andreia G.
“I can’t express how grateful I am to have found Andreia for my beloved pup! It was an absolute delight! I am incredibly grateful for her flexibility and willingness to cater to my ever-changing schedule. Her ability to accommodate my last-minute requests was incredible. She took the time to understand my unique circumstances and seamlessly integrated my pup into their daily routine, providing a safe and stimulating environment for my pup to thrive in. What truly touched my heart was the sincere care and personal attention she gave my Peanut. She kept me updated with adorable pictures of my dog throughout the day, instantly putting my mind at ease knowing Peanut was not only cared for but also loved made all the difference. I was amazed by the genuine affection Andreai showed Peanut and she took the time to understand my dog’s unique needs and made sure he felt safe and comfortable. It was evident that their passion for what they do shines through in every interaction. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy place to leave their furry companions. They truly exceeded my expectations, and Peanut can’t wait to go back!”

“Katherine and Adam were awesome - we were coming from out of town and needed a sitter super last minute and they were very responsive and accommodating. Although it was only for a few hours, they took great care of our dog Birdie. Would definitely request their care again if we’re back in the Williamsburg area!”

19. Alyssa D.
“I have personally witnessed Alyssa watch, train, and take care of many dogs. She has been absolutely phenomenal taking care of these dogs. She is very caring and playful with the dogs making sure they all get the appropriate attention and love they need. Dogs also seem to naturally gravitate towards Alyssa and always want to be around her. If there is anyone that you want to watch your dog(s) it is Alyssa. She has a dog of her own who is incredibly well trained and the happiest and most loved dog I have seen. Alyssa is better with dogs than anyone I have ever seen.”
