“Alexander was absolutely wonderful. This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous at first. I have a Great Dane and she is my animal child so, like any pet parent, you want the best for them. My dog was very hesitant at first because she was on guard and protecting her home. I left treats at the door just in case. Alexander was so patient with her and feed her treats to gain her trust. As the days went on, the "check-in" photos made my heart smile. I could see London letting her guard down her guard and that was all because of how sweet he was. I will certaintly use him again!”

My availability is extremely open and I am willing to work days, nights, weekends, or whatever is needed. At the moment, the fence in my backyard is undergoing repairs, so I’m not offering pet care in my home right now. However, I’m more than happy to care for your pets in their own environment, where they feel most at ease. Working in your home allows me to stick closely to your pet’s routine and provide one-on-one attention in a space that’s familiar and comfortable for them. I’m reliable, respectful of your space, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands on experience caring for dogs and rabbits. I’ve grown up with breeds like German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers, and I’ve been training my own dogs since I was 15. I’ve also fostered and litter-trained rabbits for years. Pet care fits perfectly into my current routine. I’m a junior at the University of Pittsburgh studying education, and I’m home for the summer visiting my family during the month of May. Since I’m off from school and have a completely open schedule, I’m available full-time and can take on any pet care jobs, whether it’s daily walks, overnight sitting, or last-minute needs. I’m also using this time to earn money to help pay for college, so I’m motivated, responsible, and ready to give your pets the attention and care they deserve! When home sitting, I make sure dogs feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by keeping them on their normal routine, whether that means feeding times, walks, play, or just companionship. I always give them plenty of attention, keep the home clean, and make sure they get exercise and mental stimulation throughout the day. For walks, I focus on safety and enjoyment. I stick to the dog’s usual route if preferred, or explore nearby paths while keeping a steady pace that suits their energy level. I’m attentive to their behavior, keep them leashed at all times, and make sure they get fresh water and cool-down time after longer walks.
