About: I run my own small business so I am flexible. I have 2 Russian blue cats at the moment, but I have always had black labs in the past. I love animals of all kinds. I run a small business, so I make my own schedule. I would work around any pet sits that I have scheduled and I’m fairly flexible. I would listen to the needs of each client as each pet comes with their own requirements. I do not live in a place that caters to boarding, so I am only offering pet sitting in the client’s home.

“Hank was very comfortable with Rachael. We can’t wait to have her back!”

About: I have taken care of numerous pets for family and friends, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, ferretsand even hermit crabs! Along side this my family has owned dogs since I was 2 years old, and I've done my pest to train and care all of them. I am a part-time worker along with a seasonal school photographer so I have plenty of spare time to help care for your pet's needs! I believe it is beat to care for a pet in their own space. Having their family leave can be stressful enough so I believe it is important to help them feel both safe and cared for.

“Molly was absolutely wonderful. Sent us updates and took very good care of our pups!”

“Dana is extremely reliable! We recently moved out of town and she was still willing to occasionally come out and watch our boys. It means a lot to us to have a consistent sitter for the dogs when we are away!”

“Jenn was amazing. Libi fell in love with her immediately. They went for walks, snuggled and baked doggie treats. Jenn is a true animal lover. I would 1000% recommend her time and time again.”

“Ashleigh was so sweet and wonderful with my cat and dog. She was able to help out last minute. I would recommend her to anyone who loves their pets!”

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. Thanks :)

“I can’t say enough good things about Gretchen as a pet sitter. She’s watched my dog, Lily several times now, and every single time I leave my pup in her care, I feel completely at ease. Lily can be a bit shy with new people, but she warmed up to Gretchen right away. It’s clear she truly loves animals—she’s patient, gentle, and somehow manages to make Lily feel like she’s on a little vacation of her own. I’ve come home to a happy, relaxed dog every time.”

Rachael S.

Shannen has an amazing insight to what is going on in a dogs head and has a love and passion for all breeds big or small. She has the knowledge and expertise to handle any temperament from an anxious dog to a dog with the tendency to be more aggressive. Shannen is definitely a dogs best friend!”

“Pat is a kind and responsible person who you can trust to take excellent care of your “best friend “. Pat recently lost the rescue dog who was his companion for the last 13 years. While not ready to replace Buddy yet, he misses having a dog in the house and would be happy to care for yours while you’re away. Pat has watched dogs many times over the years for family members and neighbors who needed his help. He will play with, walk, and keep your dog company. Valerie S.
“When my dog, Stu, was still with us, Valerie demonstrated time and time again that I could trust her with my best friend when work/school kept me away from home. This was especially true as he got older (he had issues with incontinence, poor vision, and hearing loss) and required a lot of patience and TLC. I’d trust Valerie and highly recommend Valerie to take care of your furry friend and know that they are in the best care possible.”

Capriana C.
“In November 2022, I was struggling to find a last second pet sitter. I would be out of state for a few days and Capriana proved to be an amazing selection. She came by multiple times during the day, was flexible on what needed to be done, and even provided pictures daily to show how our fur babies were doing. If you’re looking for the typical lay some food down and dash, look elsewhere because that’s not Capriana. She is willing to give your pet the attention and make sure the time away from you goes well.”
