About: I have taken care of dogs, cats and bunnies my whole life–whether they were my own, neighbors, family or friends. I have a couch potato of a 5-year-old Golden Retriever who I trained when she was a pup and now I handle all of her grooming and day to day needs. If it were up to me, my house would be a full-on animal sanctuary but since that’s not exactly practical, here I am on Rover doing the next best thing which is taking care of your pets like they’re my own! While my kids are at school, I’m a freelancer who works from home so I have the flexibility to help out families who need a trustworthy person to care for their pets. I have never been without a pet in my life, so I truly understand what it takes to care for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a fellow pet owner who also hires sitters on Rover for my own pup, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to treat your pet like their own.

About: "Oh no! My pet sitter cancelled-what should I do?!?!" Look no further - My name is Lauren and I have 20 years of experience at caring for animals- dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and fish. I currently work from home and have open availability for caring for your fur baby while your away. I live on a quiet dead end street and a fully fenced in yard. We currently have 2 dogs and 3 cats. I have an active 7 year old son who loves animals who loves all animals. For our shy friends- who need privacy and some space, there is a spare bedroom for them. Animals are free to roam around and go on our furniture and be let out as often as needed. Do not hesitate to ask me any questions. Currently, working part-time and have open availability during the week, weekends, and some holidays. I can drop in for a visit or boarding at my house. I have a fenced in yard, a 7 year old son, and live on a quiet dead end street. I have a spare room for animals that prefer alone time. I am open to care for animals at your home too.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all of my life, and grown up with them since the day I was born. I’ve never not had a dog, my childhood dog lived to be 16 years. I’m here to do what I love and be able to spend my time with all of your fur babies Im flexible I walk dogs while being able to finish school, I do this Monday through Friday and I’m looking to get more overnight sits for the weekends I care for every animal as if they are my own they will be as equally as spoiled as they would in their own home. The safety of your animal is not in question with me because I understand how much we worry about our animals when they aren’t able to be with us.

About: Hey there Dog parents! I have been around animals starting at a very young age. So basically im obsessed with them. I was always the designated trainer for the new pups. And im pretty good at it. Whenever visiting family or friends you can always find me with the dogs. Family and friends have always trusted me with their furry family members. Wether your on vacation or simply your day is overloaded, I'm happy to offer my services to ease your day! Getting an early start on the day during the week with your pups in the morning works with my schedule. If early morning doesn't work with you, I'm also available late afternoon during the week. My schedule isn't firm so if you have any special requests, I would love to work with you and figure something out! I will always put your fur baby’s needs first. Watching their body language is something that I always look out for. Making you and your pup comfortable is what I strive for.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats and parrots all my life. I’ve had the responsibility of walking them, feeding them and playing with them. Now that I’m post-grad I have a cat of my own and am solely responsible for its care. Ive helped neighbors and friends with their animals when they go away on vacation. I am home for the summer with a part time job and this would fit in perfectly with my schedule. i am able to schedule around my other job. In my home we have a fenced in yard and our dogs are sometimes crated when we leave. When they are not crated have gates to set up safe spaces in the house where they can roam.

About: Hi there! I’m a caring person who truly enjoys spending time with animals—especially cats. I graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University, and I’m currently a PhD student studying the pedagogy of caring. While my research focuses on human education, I find that the same spirit of empathy and attentiveness naturally extends to how I care for pets. I study remotely from home, so I’m around most of the time to keep my furry friends company and make sure they feel loved and secure. At home, I’ve created a cozy and playful space for my pets. I decorate my home in a cute, comforting style, with plenty of soft corners, sunny spots, and cozy blankets for them to nap on. I keep a variety of toys—from feather wands to puzzle feeders—to keep my cat entertained and mentally stimulated. I also pay close attention to their diet, making sure they eat healthy, balanced meals and stay hydrated. I love spending quiet, joyful days together.

About: I am an outdoorsy person. I am fun and athletic. I love going for walks to get exercise. I have had dogs in my house all my life. I am very comfortable taking care of dogs. I have always been responsible for walking and feeding all of the dogs in the house. I love playing with dog whether it be fetch or tug o war I am up for all games. I love all breed of dogs. I have had many different breeds in my home from husky to old English sheep dog to a shih tzu. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your pup. I am available for boarding, dog walking and drop ins whenever you need me. I have a big back yard and a quiet neighborhood so I can provide plenty of exercise for your fur baby. I also have 2 children who love dogs and can’t wait to play with them as well.
