About: I have been walking an awesome dog almost daily, he is a very energetic and adorable 8 year old Pitbull/Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue mix named Chewy and I have loved every minute. He has taught me how important it is that dogs get their daily walks and experience adventure! Looking to help other pet owners give their dog a hopeful moment in their day by getting outside - rain or shine! I’m currently working part-time, and I am incredibly flexible. I have a very reliable, pet friendly, Subaru that can drive in any weather. I am the type of person that you can text me an hour before and I will be there! Always happy to help in a pinch. I respect all spaces and homes the same. I understand owning pets can be messy and I’m not afraid to step up and help calm the storm however I can. About: I have taken care of almost all breeds. I have fostered and dog sat labs, pitbulls, mixed terriers, doodles, Bernese mountain dog, you name it! I have provided senior care to some, and the puppy stage. I am currently in school, so pet care fits very well into my weekly routine! I work part-time as well, just two-three days a week. I am well equipped to keep your dog how you would have them. If you crate them, I will! If you leave them roaming, I will! However you normally take care of your pet, I will always make them comfortable and do the same.

About: I have 6 years vet tech experience and another 15 years as a Labrador breeder. I have had large dogs all my life, from Shepard mixes and border collie to Labradors. I have owned performance dogs as well older dogs rescued from shelters. I have a raised ranch style home and can separate your dogs into the finished basement (which also has my home office and living room). If they are dog friendly they can live in the entire home with my two Labradors and family. My yard is impossible to fence but for smaller or older dogs I allow them on deck off lead (when I am home). When not working from home I am in Branchville and can stop at your home by 04:30PM. I am available many weekends. I am experienced in training basic obedience and have worked with multiple rescue dogs.

The second most important thing I look for is someone who is professional and good at communication: Devon also checks these boxes! My more timid dog normally barks at new people but not with Devon! On some visits there were some small obstacles with my more timid dog but Devon did not get discouraged, was very communicative with me about what was happening, super patient with my dog and great at problem solving with me. Now my timid one is “right at home” with Devon and the other has taken to her like a snug bug in a rug 😊. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
