“Ashleigh and John took fabulous care of our cats and were kind enough to extend a day when our travel plans changed. We were reassured through several photos and detailed notes of the visit. They managed to get our most senior cat to play :). We highly recommend!!!”

“Kaelee was very prompt in her responses. She made sure she met our Mya ahead of time and verified days and times. We appreciated getting photos from drop in visits.”

“Lilly was amazing! Had to take a last minute trip and booked her to come look after my (occasionally very difficult) cat for a week. Came home to a very happy kitty, clean box and house and I so appreciated the daily updates! It was evident when she came to meet & greet that she really cares about animals and that made me feel so comfortable having a new person in my new home looking after my furry pal. Will definitely be asking Lilly to cat sit again!”

“Mikayla did an awesome taking care of our pup for the first time today! She was very punctual and very responsive in communicating with us about our pups care during her check in. We are very pleased and would have her take care of our pup again, thank you!!!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting on and off for the last twenty years. I have two dogs with disabilities, a deaf cattle dog and an anxious sharpei-boxer with GI issues. I understand dogs and connect easily with many kinds of animals. I’m comfortable giving medications and working with reactive/anxious animals. My work is remote, freelance, and very part-time. My schedule is very relaxed and open. I prefer to spend time with my pets or others’ pets. When I enter a clients home I’m there for the animals. I’m mindful and respectful of their property and space. If I’m there for a walk, I’ll get the pup harnessed up and ready to go as soon as possible, according to the needs of the dog. If I’m there for a drop-in I’ll make sure I do what I’m there to do.
“Sydney is AMAZING! She's taken excellent care of our pups whether a long weekend or stopping in during the day. She is always on time and responds right away, which I appreciate.”

“Lexi was amazing as always and above and beyond for our girl Joy! She really has gotten to know Joy and her special routines, whether it's to hang out and snuggle or get out an extra burst of energy! Extra grateful for Lexi's kind flexibility!”

About: Along with being the go-to petsitter and dog walker for my neighbors, friends, and family, I have professional pet care experience through Gochenauer Pet Resort as a kennel attendant, dog walker, and playtime supervisor. I have learned through both experience and training courses such as Dog Handler Academy. I work evenings, so morning and daytime pet care is ideal for me. The more time I spend around animals, the happier I am, so I am hoping to fill as much free time as possible with pet time. I am unable to use my home to house pets (as my own cat is uncomfortable with other animals) but I am happy to come to your house and meet your pets where they are.
“Melissa is very punctual. We leave the food in bags on the counter. She takes good care of our cats Frosts and Smokey. She feeds them, gives them fresh water. Frosta seems to greet her. Smokey likes to hide except when he gets fed. The cats seem to like her. She sends pictures of them after each visit. We have used Melissa twice and are looking forward to use her again in the future. I recommend her.”

“Jen is an incredible pet sitter. Our dog Maisie is a rescue with issues and Jen was so understanding and willing to work with her - and her relationship with Maisie is excellent! Jen also takes great care of of two bun buns - she also has a pet rabbit so she is a knowledgeable caregiver and cuddle for them. Jen goes above and beyond pet care - she has voluntarily brought in packages for us and yesterday when I returned I noticed that she had brought both our trash and recycling containers up to the house from the street.”

“Malia did a great job with Darin! She followed instructions, sent a lot of pics and notes. Husband came home to a happy pup, and our home was treated with care and respect. Would absolutely book her again!”

About: I've taken care of my friends cats and dogs and have done house sitting locally for a few years. I always enjoy making new furry friends. Pet sitting, along with making art is my main gig so my schedule is very flexible. I try to plan pet sitting 1-2 weeks in advance. I am very observant and will cater to your specific needs. Pets require love and attention. Give me detailed directions and I will follow them to the best of my ability.
“Zania did a WONDERFUL job with our dogs, one of which is a little high energy. She went out of her way to take them on a “field trip” to run out their energy and play with other dogs. Her communication was excellent, and she even helped with some of my around-the-house tasks. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I have had dogs all growing up and have had close friends (of course) that also had dogs, cats, and ferrets. Although my dogs were always smaller per my mom’s preference, one friend in particular always had Dobermans and if you didn’t know them they were definitely intimidating. But, as we all know most dogs are just cuddle bugs or rambunctious kids in a dog’s body. I have always been surrounded by all types of animals and I would love getting to hang out with the horses at my summer camp as a kid. If you’ve got a pet, I just know we will get along great. I work a pretty standard job working 9-4. I have roughly an hour lunch break so if your pet requires potty time, medicine or food I am able to fulfill that need. I am also able to be there before and after work (obviously) to make sure your furry friend is happy, calm, and completely content. Since I have cats my routine may look different to others. We free feed our cats but I have sat for people who do not so I am seasoned. Our geriatric cat, Kitty, who was originally my grandma’s cat, requires medicine daily for her arthritis. We have had her over 2 years so I am very aware of administering medicine from current and past experiences. I am flexible to yours and your pet’s needs so we can all make sure your pet is as comfy as can be.
“We are so incredibly grateful to have found her! From the moment she met our brand-new puppy, Loki, she’s been nothing short of amazing. She takes such great care of him—walking, feeding, playing, and giving him all the love and attention a little pup could need while we’re away. Her communication is excellent—always keeping us updated with messages and photos so we know Loki is happy and in good hands. It’s such a relief knowing he’s being cared for by someone who treats him like her own.”

West Lancaster cat parents share their Rover experiences
Alyra was great! I accidentally had the wrong address associated with my Rover account. Alyra promptly sent me a message notifying me of this error and went to the other (correct) address. Luna was so spoiled by Alyra! I got photos after every visit and Alyra was very communicative about my little girl!

Omari was too good with our home and our two cats. She has a great bedside manner and sense of empathy which is the main trait you need to love animals and help them feel safe and loved. She followed our instructions and made our cats feel like their routine was unchanged. She is very kind and patient and proactive. You’d be glad to have her availability! Thanks Ormari!
