About: I've had a dog or a cat (often both) in my life ever since I was 10. I love making new furiends, so I'd love to meet yours! My pup (Bailey) has separation anxiety, so I’m very familiar with supporting special needs, giving medication, and training. We alternate between off-leash fun walks and on-leash training walks, so I can adjust to your dog’s needs. I’m also a big fan of playing, especially if your dog needs to get some energy out. I split my time between volunteering at my local library and walking dogs, so my schedule is flexible. I prefer to walk dogs in the morning or early afternoon. I don't sit at my home, but I love getting updates about my pets when I'm away, so you can expect plenty of pictures and videos of your pets!

“Lily was great with my pup! He really loved spending time with her and was always excited when she came. She did a great job communicating! She made me feel completely comfortable with leaving my pup in her hands. Thanks Lily!!!”

About: I've been around dogs my entire life with experience ranging from hyper puppies to mellow older dogs. I've become the default care taker for any family members pet and love every second of it. My dog and I love going on walks and playing fetch in the backyard, she even sleeps on my bed which is the cutest thing ever. This is why I know how that special attention and physical activity is for a dog. I am capable of brushing and grooming the dog if they are well behaved. I've managed overnight care for a week while in school and making sure the pets were happy and well cared for. I'm reliable, organized and will always treat your dog as my own. Pet care fits easily into my routine since I have my own vehicle and a flexible part time job. I'm available on weekdays and weekends while always willing to work with your schedule to do what is best for your pets. I make sure that my dog is walked or taken outside every 4 hours. Having explicit instructions on how to care for your pet is appreciated so that I can ensure that the best care is provided. I always check to make sure that gates are closed in the backyard and that whatever environment your dog is in they feel safe and happy.

About: Hi, I’m Jaclyn! I’m new to Rover, but not to pet care. I’ve always been an animal lover. I have taken care of family, friend’s, and coworker’s pets for over 15 years. I have been consistently pet sitting since 2020. This ranges from cats, kittens, senior dogs and puppies, to rabbits, guinea pigs, and tropical frogs. I make sure to keep your space clean; laundry, dishes, vacuum, take in the mail, take out the trash. I want your home to be a safe haven when you get back, with nothing to tend to when you return. I am a wonderful companion, and I make sure your pet is happy, clean, litter scooped, fed, walked, and they will get lots of love and playtime. I always respect their cues and boundaries for everyone’s comfort. Animals love me! Whether they enjoy playing ball or walks, or snuggles on the couch, I want to make sure your fur-babies are happy and cared for in your absence. There are references on my wix website which I’m happy to share upon request. I provide a free meet-and-greet before sitting dates; I want to meet you and your pet, and ensure they are comfortable with me ahead of my visit. I love check-ins for longer stays and will send photos if desired. My house sitting overnight services are in high-demand so please book ahead for best results. Let me know how I can help! I look forward to meeting you ☺️🐶🐾 My main focus is on building dog walking and pet care services, so I’m available for all your pet care needs! I am often in Amherst or Greenfield and don’t mind traveling. My house sitting is very in demand so please book early. I have more flexibility for daytime walks. Thank you! I will go over your regular routines for your furry family member, and chat about what keeping your pet safe looks like. I love a good harness for walks, and carefully supervised backyard playtime. Wood trails are great for walks and I always keep a close eye to make sure your pet is not getting into any mischief! I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street, keeping alert for traffic or any other hazards. I carefully assess dogs we may meet on the street to ensure safety and distance if necessary, with skills I’ve learned working at a doggy daycare. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. I have a good eye for ticks and I am always finding them, but your dog should be treated for this, too. Your best friend is in good hands with me!

Jeremy was very attentive to mater and was very observant about heat sensitivity, and made sure that mater drank water before Jeremy left! The next time I need a dog walker I’m absolutely going to book with them again!”

About: Lifelong dog lover skilled with reactive, anxious dogs and puppies—experienced in training, stimulation, and gentle, attentive care. I am a dog mom myself! My Dogs name is Eggy who is a 2 year old rescue with a love of balls and social anxiety. I am currently in graduate school working towards my masters in clinical social work. With this, I have ample time to spend with furry friends. Entering someone’s home is an honor and a privilege, especially when you are in-trusted with the care and safety of a pet. With this I try to respect the expectations of every pet parent and every pet. I work to leave a home as I found it, be mindful of the needs of each pet, and express my gratitude.

About: It might sound funny to say I have 26 years of pet care experience, but I’ve truly never known a life without animals. I grew up in a family where dogs and cats were part of the family, not just pets. Over the years, we’ve loved pugs, labs, terrier mixes, a cavapoo with epilepsy, rottweilers, dobermans, a brussels griffon, and an American bulldog. For a time, we even had bearded dragons and rabbits….every animal had a special place in our home! I’ve also had the joy of caring for households with both senior pets and energetic young ones, making sure each one got the attention and care they needed. These days, I live in Northampton with my sweet orange American Shorthair cat, Zora. Caring for animals has always been a part of who I am, and I’d love to bring that same care and love to your pets too. I’m currently a PhD candidate, and during the summer months my schedule is much more flexible, as I’ll mainly be focused on researching and writing my dissertation. I’m truly lucky to have the privilege of being adaptable with my time, which allows me to adjust to the needs of each family I work with When caring for pets, safety and trust are always my top priorities. When I’m visiting a client’s home I create a calm, secure environment where animals can feel comfortable and cared for. I take the time to learn each pet’s individual routines, preferences, and any special needs they might have from medication schedules to favorite toys. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep communication open with frequent updates, photos, and check-ins. I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets, so I make it a priority to be as communicative and reassuring as possible, giving you peace of mind while you’re apart. My approach is gentle, patient, and attentive, making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: I have had dogs and cats as part of my family all my life. I have taken care of puppies and kittens to seniors and every step in between of my own and friends and family. My job is based on volume and is generally 6 to 8 hour day. I work 5 minutes from my house and at anytime if needed I would be able to run home for a potty or medication break My dogs are my world. I provide the up most safety standards for all of the furry paws that come into my life. I believe in treating everyone pets in a manner that I would expect mine to be. I have gone above and beyond to provide a secure fenced in yard. I also have a gate between the living area of my house and the front door to keep dogs from running out.

“Alexio was reliable, flexible, a good communicator and deeply cares about the well being and good manners of our dog Maisy. He provided mid-day walks M-F for the entire school year. I trust him, have recommended him for friends, and hope he’ll be available when we need him next!”

About: I grew up with a fear of dogs that only ebbed when I was 13, after my family started fostering an older Australian cattle dog mix. She was smart, sweet, and scarily strong. Taking care of her taught me how to stay calm, deescalate her excitement when necessary, and also match her energy and enthusiasm. My fear is gone and now I love to make friends with new dogs! I work 9 to 5 on Monday through Friday— I’m available on weekends, as well as all mornings and evenings outside of my regular job schedule. I also get federal holidays off, so I am generally free on weekdays that fall into that category. I love spending time with animals and am so happy to dole out as much affection as they want! However, I'm also pretty good at reading their body language and realizing when they need space to do their own thing. Every animal has different needs and I pride myself on respecting that!

James K.
“Whenever I need someone to walk my dog or watch my cat, Aidan's my go-to person! He's great with animals, he often spends more time with them than I ask, and he always sends me pictures of my little guys so I know how they're doing. My pets have special needs, and Aidan's very accommodating - he's even brushed their teeth the few times I've asked him to! I know that he cares about my pets as much as I do, and I would happily recommend him and his services.”

Lily B.

“Lily was great with my pup! He really loved spending time with her and was always excited when she came. She did a great job communicating! She made me feel completely comfortable with leaving my pup in her hands. Thanks Lily!!!”

Brooke P.
“It will be difficult to keep my comments to 25 words. Brooke is my granddaughter and she is a wonderful and caring young lady. Besides being very caring for her grandparents, she has shown to be caring for animals. Brooke has been around animals for all of her life. As an infant my dog would curl up with her when she took her daily naps. During her grammar school and high school years, her family had 2 cats and a dog. She was responsible to help walk, play and feed them. She was the favorite member of the family for their dog to climb into her bed at night. Recently during the past year, Brooke took care of her Aunts dog and cat. When her aunt returned, her only complaint was the pets didn't seem to realize she was gone. Brooke took excellent care of them and kept their normal routines. I believe that animals have the ability to know who to trust. Whenever Brooke is around animals, they come to her and feel safe. Brooke is a responsible and loving pet caregiver and they all love her.”

Jaclyn P.
“When my toy Cavapoo, Dickens, and I first met Jaclyn Parker she was a receptionist at a hair salon. I was surprised and delighted to see that she also was willing to do pet sitting and dog walking. She soon left the salon and now does pet care full time. I was so happy to see that my dog was immediately attracted to Jaclyn. Her love of animals is apparent. At my age, it is hard for me to give my dog all the exercise that he needs—I walk with a cane. I hired Jaclyn to walk Dickens twice a week- and it has been an outstanding success. When Jaclyn comes, Dickens literally squeals with delight because he is so excited to see her. Since walking in the rain is not an option for Dickens, they sometimes play ball in my family room so Dickens can work off some of his excess energy. I also hired Jaclyn to dog sit for several days to live in my house with Dickens during the 2024 Christmas holiday so that I could have a visit with family. It was comforting to have someone who loves my dog as I do, stay in my house with him—someone I trust completely. I recommend Jaclyn whole heartedly She always comes when she is supposed to, texts me if she is running late and is totally reliable. She is a genuinely nice person and anyone who hires her is getting a gem.”

Morgan J.
“Morgan could not be a better choice to care for your four legged friends. They do an amazing job taking care of our own dog Eggy, especially when it comes to his anxieties. Morgan is very good at making pets feel safe, loved, and nurtured while under her care, and consistently goes above and beyond in making sure they are happy!”

Molly E.Star Sitter

Karl K.
“Karl has watched my dog, Willow, for over a year, and I can say with certainty that there is no one more perfect than him to be a dog sitter. He has a large, fenced-in backyard where the dogs can run around and play all day. When we're away, he sends us videos of her having the time of her life (she’s always a bit disappointed to come back home!). Taking care of these dogs is his passion, and it truly shows in how happy Willow is with him! I could not recommend him enough.”
