About: Hi there! I’m a passionate pet lover and proud dog parent to an energetic and loving husky who has been keeping me on my toes for the past two years. Through daily adventures and lots of hands-on experience, I’ve become well-versed in basic command training, leash etiquette, and, of course, the less glamorous but essential task of cleaning up after pets. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I’m committed to providing the same level of care, attention, and love to your furry family member as I do for my own. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cuddles, your pet is in good hands with me! I recently graduated PA school and I am free for the majority of the summer and most days of the week before I begin my job as a medical provider. I can easily drive to your home to walk your pet or drop by for visits to make sure they’re safe and taken care of while you’re gone! I also live in an apartment complex with a dog park.

About: I have been an owner of my dog, Scout for 13 years. Over those 13 years, I have learned how to care for animals. I have volunteered for the humane society for the past 5 years as well! I am currently working during the mornings of each weekend so I am pretty flexible during the weekdays. I can care for your pet during any hour of the day during the week! I feed, walk, and shower my dog with attention each day. I will treat your pet the same way mine would want to be treated.

About: We’ve owned many dogs growing and are super excited for the opportunity to be around animals while living in a new state. We've house sat for neighbors, friends and family for a number of years so please take a look at our testimonials. We both have very flexible schedules this summer! Matthew is a grad student and Mary Beth works from home in finance, so we're both available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. We love walking and biking around the West End of Hartford, but we do have cars for extra flexibility. Your pet's safety and comfort are our top priorities. When house sitting, we follow your routine closely to keep things familiar and stress-free for your pet. We’re respectful of your home and aim to leave it just as we found it—if not better. For dog walking, we use secure leashes and harnesses, avoid unsafe areas, and always keep a close eye on your dog’s comfort and energy level. During doggy daycare, your pet will have a calm, supervised environment with lots of attention, play, and breaks as needed. We're happy to accommodate special needs, medications, or quirks—just let us know!

About: I've volunteered at multiple animal shelters, and take care of my own two dogs and one cat. I have a big passion for animals, so much I worked at a ferret rescue for three years. In my family animals come first. Pets are always a priority in my schedule! If you book with me feel assured that your pet will have care with a fine attention to detail. I keep very special care of both my own pets and yours also. I value pets' safety and comfort and want to give them the best treatment possible!

“Our dogs LOVE Brittany! It’s been absolutely wonderful to find a sitter we trust and feel comfortable letting into our home while we’re away. It’s given us so much more freedom to travel knowing we have a reliable and responsible sitter loving our dogs!”

About: Hi my name is Naomi Holt, i’m a recent graduate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute who just moved to West Hartford, and I am looking to help out any dog owners. I recently lost my goofy, kind hearted rescue dog named Ricky who i love and miss dearly. I’d be looking to help out because i love dogs, and i miss interacting with them. Whether your dog is quiet and reserved, or energetic and outgoing, I would love to hang out with him or her. My schedule allows free time to assist with care on weekends! Looking forward to being in touch. Currently my primary obligation is work which is every Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30pm, leaving my weekends flexible with where i can be, whether it’s a walk, sit, or house stay! I’m unable to board at my house, but I’d be more than happy to work with your schedule to make whatever you need, happen! I will also ask that before any service there’s at least a brief meet and greet.

About: We are excited to be your pets favorite home away from home! I am experienced with various types of pets—dogs, cats, horses, chickens, hamsters, bunnies, fish—and love them all! We have a golden retriever, Henry (8), and standard poodle mix, Garth (5), who love to make friends of all ages and sizes! Our boys have been thoroughly socialized and interact with other dogs respectfully. If your pup loves to play, Garth will run around for hours. If they’re sleepy/shy, our dogs will give them space. To avoid chaos and temperament conflicts, we will only care for dogs from one household at a time. Our fully fenced back yard allows us to spend plenty of time playing outside, plus we love to go for long walks each day. We can adhere to most requests/schedules and will make sure your pup gets the attention they deserve. We are available for a meet and greet / house visit to make sure we’re a great fit for your dog(s). I work 9-5 Monday-Friday outside of the home, but my wife, Sam, is in graduate school and has a flexible schedule. Your pup won’t be left alone longer than 4-6 hours at a time. We have a fully fenced back yard, partially privacy fence and partially wire (so let me know if you have an escape artist). If your dog is not crated, we will separate ours with a gate and monitor them through our Furbo camera while we’re away from the house.

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals big and small furry or reptilian! I’m comfortable with different energy levels and sizes and willing to put in the work to get to know your pet and make sure they are comfortable! I work from home with very flexible hours so I can accommodate many different schedules during business hours and throughout the rest of the day I live in an apartment so will not be caring for pets in my home, but I am very careful and thorough with all pet care instructions.

“Dependable , responsive to messages.”

About: You will be able to tell how much I love dogs when you meet me. I treat all dogs as equals and I'm pretty sure that I like dogs more than I like humans. 10 years experience with family dogs (3 poodles, a shih tzu, and 2 pitbulls) House sits for my aunt (5 year old shih-poo named Jay and her 2 cats: Piranha and Chiquita). I also house sit for a 3-year old pitbull named Drea. I currently dog sit three dogs: a 3-year old pitbull, a 5-year old Maltese and a 6 month old toy Poodle. I love going to dog walks and going to dog parks. I will roll around with your dogs in the dirt. I will make sure that they are safe and make sure they feel at home. I will administer any medication on schedule, if needed. I have two dogs that I walk 3 times a day. One of the walks normally includes going to the local dog run in our area. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in backyard. We also have a pet cam to watch the dogs when we are not home.

“Jane is amazing. She treated my home like her own, and was very kind to me and my cat and left detailed cards about what they did when I was away.”

About: I’ve been nicknamed “the dog whisperer” in my family. I’ve always loved all animals. I’ve volunteered at shelters taking care of dogs, cats, and livestock. Right now I have my own 1 year old lab mix he’s my baby and I’m always training him and now I have a new Bernese mountain dog puppy coming home in July. I’ve taken care of family and neighbors animals including walking, feeding, and giving medications. I’m comfortable with all size dogs and all breeds. I’m currently a student at UConn and part time barista. So I currently have lots of time to drop by and look after your animal(s). My dog is crate trained so I’m very familiar with crate trained dogs. I am home/available a lot during the summer due to being a student so I spend a lot of time going out and doing fun activities with my dog (going on hikes, early morning runs, lake days, etc.) Your dogs safety is my number one priority. I’m very aware of how much our fur babies mean to us and would never do anything to make you or your animal uncomfortable

“KP took the best care of our 10 year old Lab/German Shepherd! He was very communicative, thorough in his pre-care visit, and sent so many pictures and visit updates! He made sure we felt comfortable with how our dog was doing while on a 10 day vacation. I highly recommend using KP if you're in need for a pet sitter!”

“Meagan was super responsive when booking and easy going! She did a great job watching my new puppy and I could tell they had a blast! She sent me so many picture updates that I really appreciated! Already booked her to come back again!”

“Frank has owned a dog for 13 years. He gives her lots of attention and affection. He walks, feeds, and plays with her. He will treat other pets as if they were his own. He's responsible, honest, and hardworking. He attends college, where he is on the Dean's List. I highly recommend Frank as a Rover caregiver.”

“Matt and Mary Beth are the most caring pet sitters we know. They are very attentive and really follow any special directions we may have with our Bennie. We would highly recommend them! You will not be disappointed. Trust worthy, punctual and caring!”

“Naomi has always been a dependable pet sitter for me. She understands that exceptional pet care doesn’t end at feeding, walks, playtime, and other daily needs. When she’s cared for my pets, she sends me cute pictures of them throughout my trips, always brightening my day and reassuring me that they’re feeling well.”

Laura L.
“Laura loves animals, but what makes her the perfect sitter is how her attention and care is tailored to each animal. Your fur baby will have the time of their life getting loved on and played with in Laura’s care.”

Brittany A.
“Brittany loves animals almost as much as they all love her, which is a lot! She’s grown up caring for animals her entire life, especially skilled with dogs and cats. My family has entrusted their dogs and cats to Brittany many times and now that I have my own pet, she’s done the same for me. She is calm, professional, attentive, and responsible with animals in her care.”

Yani C.
“Yani took care of our two-year-old terrier Aggie for a week when my partner and I went on holiday. As you can imagine, Aggie has a tonne of energy. She is also very needy when it comes to the attention she expects from her humans. Yani was extremely patient with her, giving her all the love and attention she was used to. She took Aggie out for walks twice a day, and more on the weekend. Yani worked around Aggie's usual schedule, dropping her at day care before work on some days. We came back from holidays to a happy, healthy dog and a very clean and tidy home. I would definitely recommend Yani to anyone looking for a walker or sitter that will take care of your pet as if it's her own.”

Molly has been the dream dog sitter. Perfect communication and constant updates with plenty of reassurance and pictures! As a first time Rover user she aided the entire process! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Very grateful she came last minute! I have a 4month old puppy who’s teething and she handled her with a lot of patience. She was accommodating and texted me lots of updates.

Laura, we are very appreciative… And look forward to Rosie and Zoe spending time with you again. Thank you for the kind words about both of our little angels.

Carla is great with my two dogs! I am very grateful I was able to connect with her, and will certainly be using her services again!

Our dogs LOVE Brittany! It’s been absolutely wonderful to find a sitter we trust and feel comfortable letting into our home while we’re away. It’s given us so much more freedom to travel knowing we have a reliable and responsible sitter loving our dogs!

Madison was gracious enough to accept a very last minute request! Excellent communication, very nice, and easy to work with. Yana and Wiyon say thanks!

We love Veronica! She loves our dogs like they’re her own and they love when she comes to spend time with them!

I'm very overprotective of my dog, but she took care of it as if it were hers. She was very communicative. I would recommend her to look after your furbabies!

Amazing experience. Taylor was very responsive and saved me when I needed someone to walk my doggie that same day! Muffin was very happy and content with her long walk!! Will definitely be reaching out in the next few weeks.

James has watched our dog twice now, and both times he was fantastic. He is reliable, communicates well, and is so kind to our dog.
