House Sitting in West Charleston

About: Ever since I was a child, I was responsible for the care of a variety of animals, and I mean solely responsible. Growing up (and today), I was the one that friends and family came to for pet sitters and care/training advice. I prioritize following pet care instructions to a tee- I do not cut corners on even the most “meticulous” of care instructions. With me, you can trust that your fur babies will receive the highest quality of care and attention because of my intrinsic love for animals. I do this because I love it, not for the money. Currently, I am a dog walker for three dogs, but I would love the opportunity to care for other people’s furry family members on top of that. I am free to walk dogs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. I am free to board dogs and cats Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am free to check in on your furry friends at home pretty much whenever, we can work out the details further when the time comes. - For checking in on pets: When in a client’s home, I am very careful to respect their belongings and privacy. I ensure that I only get into spaces that they instruct me to. *Please be aware: I take my boyfriend with me to house visits for safety precautions, he does not meddle with anything of course, he is just there to ensure my safety (meeting with strangers on the internet is scary, lol.)* - For boarding dogs: *Please be aware: For dogs, I can only care for small puppies. Unfortunately, we have a rescue dog who is reactive to adult dogs due to trauma. But, he is gentle as can be with small puppies and any sort of cats. We also have two cats who are dog friendly, so please ensure that your pup is good with cats* Also, I have a fenced in yard and a whole house for your baby to roam. -For boarding cats: We have two cats here, and though they are fairly cat friendly, I do not intend for them to meet client cats so as to avoid unnecessary stress on my and your cats. So, cats will remain separated. Your cat will be allowed to free roam a certain level of the house for hours, then will be switched out to another level of the house for hours (all while being blocked off from the resident kitties.) Of course, constant supervision will be in place for the entirety of their stay. Your kitty will also sleep in a room with me for the night. - For dog walking: Please provide dog poop bags and, if wanted, any sort of treats you would like for the walk. I require meeting dog walking clients in public places for safety precautions. Also, please let me know of any commands, work, or quirks (chasing after animals, dog aggressive, etc.) that you’d like me to keep in mind for our walks.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since my teen years, so I know how to handle everything from playful puppies to wise senior dogs, finicky cats, and even bearded dragons! I treat every pet like my own, keeping them happy, safe, and loved. My mix of experience, patience, and genuine love for animals helps me connect with pets of all personalities—whether they’re shy, cuddly, or full of energy. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, and check-ins to make sure each pet gets the attention they need. I’m flexible with drop-ins and sitting and enjoy making pet care part of my regular day rather than rushing it. Caring for animals has always been part of my life, so it feels second nature to me. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved whether I’m in their home or mine. That means feeding them on schedule, keeping their space clean, giving plenty of attention and play, and following any special instructions from their humans. I also give lots of pets, cuddles, and reassurance so they feel happy and relaxed while you’re away 🐾

I have no schedule on the weekends but I try my best to be flexible through the weekdays. I am solely here to help you get the care your pet needs while your working or even away for vacation. Within my home, my dog is free range due to being house trained. Your instructions will never be too detailed for me! I will follow your instructions to the tea. About: I have worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes over the years. I love every pup, and every pup has unique behavioral and dietary needs, and they should all get the personalized treatment they deserve! As the experienced owner of a giant breed dog (and probably more in the near future), I want you to know that no matter the size and shape of your dog they will receive personalized care and fun time with me! I am retired from professional baseball, and this is a great way to spend my free time! I love dogs, and as a single guy with a ton of free time, this feels like the best use of it! About: I have taken care of all kinds of house pets from ferrets, cats, dogs, and even rabbits. I am comfortable with all ages of animals, able to give oral medication, take them out and about on walks or to the dog park, I have training experience so if your animal is ill mannered I can work on that if requested. I currently work about 30 hours a week as a seamstress, and use pet care as a way to make up the rest of my income. Depending on the service, time/day, and weather, I would arrive in the mornings at about 9:00 am, take the dog(s) for a walk, feed them, then take them for a second walk. I would spend approximately an hour with them in total. In the afternoon I would either like to take them to the dog park to tire them out or I will take them for another walk and play with them in the house for approximately an hour. In the evening, I would arrive at 5:30, take them for a short walk, feed them and take them for a second short walk and play with them in the house.

About: What sets me apart is the amount of genuine care, patience, and attention I give to every pet. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your animals, and I treat them like family while they’re with me. I previously owned a husky, so I’m familiar with caring for high-energy dogs that need structure, exercise, and lots of engagement. I’m also very attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs, whether they’re playful, shy, young, or older. I always aim to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for both pets and their owners. Hi! I’m an animal lover and expecting my first baby girl in June, so I’m looking for a reliable and flexible way to earn income while spending precious time with my little one. I’ve always loved being around dogs and would love to help with walking, drop-ins, or pet sitting. I’m dependable, caring, patient, and will treat your pets like family 🤍 I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications if needed, and lots of attention and affection. About: I have had pets my entire life, always having one dog and two cats. I have raised a kitten that came from a rough background, another kitten with anxiety, a deaf Boxer, a Frenchton puppy and have raised my own kitten in my college dorm. I also volunteer with 4Paws For Ability to train service dogs! I would love to take care of your furry family <3 I am currently on summer vacation from Wright State University, so I am free any time you need me! I can do any type of visit you need me to! I can bathe, walk, play and give your animal basic care. I have my own puppy so walks are something that I take frequently with him and I love to play with the dogs. No parties or any other people will be in your home while you are away and I will send daily updates of your pet!
