About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had a pet in my home. From tiny pugs to large pyr's, to shy and friendly kitties, and even the occasional turtle and rat, I have always had an affinity for animals. I trained my first puppy at 16 years old, and now at 20 years old I work as a doggy daycare attendant for a business that sees 60 dogs a day! About: I have taken care of all kinds of house pets from ferrets, cats, dogs, and even rabbits. I am comfortable with all ages of animals, able to give oral medication, take them out and about on walks or to the dog park, I have training experience so if your animal is ill mannered I can work on that if requested. I currently work about 30 hours a week as a seamstress, and use pet care as a way to make up the rest of my income. Depending on the service, time/day, and weather, I would arrive in the mornings at about 9:00 am, take the dog(s) for a walk, feed them, then take them for a second walk. I would spend approximately an hour with them in total. In the afternoon I would either like to take them to the dog park to tire them out or I will take them for another walk and play with them in the house for approximately an hour. In the evening, I would arrive at 5:30, take them for a short walk, feed them and take them for a second short walk and play with them in the house.

“I was coming to a Dayton Ohio for work and I was bringing my mini golden doodle pup along. I needed someone trustworthy to watch my baby boy, Arlo. I came across Katherine’s profile and immediately had that instinct that she was the one 😊 she was accommodating to my over protective mommy needs and agreed to hop on a zoom call with me beforehand. She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. She was extremely responsive and would send me pictures and videos all day without me even having to ask. She has a nice big fenced in backyard that Arlo loved running around freely in all day. Each evening I would pick him up he was exhausted from having fun playing all day. (His besty was her dog, Vanilla) 😊 I cannot recommend Katherine enough. She made my experience great and worry free. Also, they hadn’t had a bath or groomed in awhile and their fur was starting to get matted so thought I’d get that done also. I messaged Kayla asking if she was available that week to watch them/bath & brush them. She offered to take them immediately that day! She was very nice when I met her and made me feel comfortable. She took so much care and time with grooming them while also making sure they were comfortable to make sure that she got all the matts out that she actually kept them until 9pm with no extra charge. She also kept me updated every step of the way. My boys came home so soft and clean and I could also tell she tired them out because they both came home and went straight to sleep. About: I have spent a lifetime caring for my own pets as well as rescuing animals. I think pets are an extremely important part of my livelihood and good mental health so I understand that your pet is an integral part of your family as well. I also understand that I am a guest in your pets home and will treat your home with the utmost respect and privacy. Being a stay at home mom with school age children allows me to be flexible and reliable. I also received my OH-EMT Intermediate medic training at WPAFB while serving in the military. I am very comfortable administering medications and any treatments. As of 2023 I also obtained my Instructor Animal CPR and First Aide Instructor Certification. I went to do an introductory meet and greet. Her house was immaculate, very clean and organized. Hatsuki had printed (let me say it again, she printed a sheet!) a profile of clutch so she can make notes about his needs. Again this was just a meet and greet, she also made a thumb drive with a tag that had clutch’s name. About: Ever since I was a child, I was responsible for the care of a variety of animals, and I mean solely responsible. Growing up (and today), I was the one that friends and family came to for pet sitters and care/training advice. I prioritize following pet care instructions to a tee- I do not cut corners on even the most “meticulous” of care instructions. With me, you can trust that your fur babies will receive the highest quality of care and attention because of my intrinsic love for animals. I do this because I love it, not for the money. Currently, I am a dog walker for three dogs, but I would love the opportunity to care for other people’s furry family members on top of that. I am free to walk dogs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. I am free to board dogs and cats Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am free to check in on your furry friends at home pretty much whenever, we can work out the details further when the time comes. - For checking in on pets: When in a client’s home, I am very careful to respect their belongings and privacy. I ensure that I only get into spaces that they instruct me to. *Please be aware: I take my boyfriend with me to house visits for safety precautions, he does not meddle with anything of course, he is just there to ensure my safety (meeting with strangers on the internet is scary, lol.)* - For boarding dogs: *Please be aware: For dogs, I can only care for small puppies. Unfortunately, we have a rescue dog who is reactive to adult dogs due to trauma. But, he is gentle as can be with small puppies and any sort of cats. We also have two cats who are dog friendly, so please ensure that your pup is good with cats* Also, I have a fenced in yard and a whole house for your baby to roam. -For boarding cats: We have two cats here, and though they are fairly cat friendly, I do not intend for them to meet client cats so as to avoid unnecessary stress on my and your cats. So, cats will remain separated. Your cat will be allowed to free roam a certain level of the house for hours, then will be switched out to another level of the house for hours (all while being blocked off from the resident kitties.) Of course, constant supervision will be in place for the entirety of their stay. Your kitty will also sleep in a room with me for the night. - For dog walking: Please provide dog poop bags and, if wanted, any sort of treats you would like for the walk. I require meeting dog walking clients in public places for safety precautions. Also, please let me know of any commands, work, or quirks (chasing after animals, dog aggressive, etc.) that you’d like me to keep in mind for our walks.
“Emma was great with our dogs, however. We met with her prior to booking so we could get to know her and our dogs could meet her as well. We spoke about the time being 12noon and that was not a problem. The first day (Monday) she was here on time, the next 3 days she arrived at 1pm. 1 hr later then discussed. Then Friday morning she texted us stating she was stuck at a house she was cleaning and was not gonna be able to make it. My wife had to rush from work in Sidney to take them out, then rush back. Keep in mind we had already paid for the entire week.”

I’m a home owner, have a safe and clean pet yard and allow allow pups to swim in my pool during their stay (weather permitting). I have expertise in puppy training, behavioral training, elder care (and medicine) and can feed and provide accommodations to your preferences. My home is very pet friendly, with safety gates, and dog beds aplenty! All animals in my home are treated like family and by the end of their visit have made lifelong furfriends! Extra services can be added (grooming, walking or bathing) as needed for posted rates. Your animals will always be happy to see me! My pets are my family, and yours will be too! The primary goal for my business is to create relationships with my clients furkids so pet parents are comfortable leaving pets in my care anytime they need to. I love repeat customers! NEW SERVICE: pick ups and drops off available within 20 mile radius for a max fee of $25 fee (depending on distance) to and from your home. PICK UP: is expected 24 hours from drop off, extensions can be made dependent on sitters schedule at an additional fee of $2 an hour (per pet). Due to COVID-19 I will be offering virtual meet and greets prior to a stay. I can use Messenger, Zoom or Google Meet. I also offer contactless drop off and pick up if you'd prefer that. I am now also allowing face to face meetings held in my back yard. A well socialized and exercised dog is a happy dog! My yard is fully fenced and dogs are watched diligently when outside. The above ground pool my pool has a fence that prevents any pup from accessing the water without me present. Dogs are fed separately and there is always fresh water available both inside and outside through automatic waterers. All water play (splash pad or doggie pool) is supervised.

I follow any directions or rules you give me to perfection. I am a stickler for pet routines, so you best believe that if your baby needs one walk at 1 o'clock, then lunch at 1:23, and then a second walk at 1:25, that's how it will get done.
