Helena S.

“Helena made time to do a meet & greet with my dog prior to booking. She responded quickly & professionally to every message, and she kindly answered all of my questions/concerns. She gave me updates & pictures after every walk which was awesome! I knew my dog was in great hands, I'd 10/10 recommended her to anyone & I will definitely be booking her in the future!! Thank you Helena! 😊”

Savannah B.
“Savannah's cared for our pets many times over the years and each time our pets seem saddened for us to return. It's weird. They get all excited when we say "OK dog and cat, we're going to be gone for a couple weeks here and Savannah is going to babysit you". In all seriousness, Savannah takes the pet sitting role seriously, loves animals, has intuitive awareness of their needs... is respectful of our home and uh, yeah: solid recommend.”

Tananda R.

“Ruby is normally suspicious of strangers but Tananda was able to coax her into walks with patience and a few treats. We appreciated her understanding with Ruby being wary at first. Her flexibility and communication helped with scheduling too.”

Savannah D.

“Savannah was wonderful with our fur babies!!”

Matthew & Bethany L.

“Matthew was courteous and quick with communication for our first meet & greet + walk. It is very clear that he has worked a lot with dogs and understands their unique personalities. Thank you!”

Karolynne D.
“Karolynne is a very passionate and skilled caregiver for non-human animal friends / companions. Her love of and compassion for animals is very clear in her work. This, paired with her hard working, organized, and focused nature, make her highly qualified to care for and watch over your loved ones! She is the one to trust with your furry friends 🐾🐶🐱🐰🐈⬛🐕💕”

About: From beginning to pet sit (seriously) at age 13 to working in assisted senior living arrangements, babysitting for neighbors and friends, and having multiple pets in our family and on my own, I find the act of caring for animals, children and anyone that needs the extra attention to be uplifting and a great way to find community. I work as a full time student at the Evergreen College on most week days for a few hours in the morning-early afternoon. While also taking a night class on Tuesdays. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, right next to a park-but I also have transportation to drive to any near dog park as well.

Jessica C.

“I had a very last minute request for a walk and Jessica was very responsive and my husky got to have fun walking while I was at work. Awesome!”

Ari D.
“Ari made my girl comfortable and calm after our move to Olympia. He has been punctual and reliable, and always sends me pics during their walk. :)”

Missy M.
“Missy is an amazing pet friend and sitter! She has cared for my pets (husky, kitties, and chickens) with love and attention. She has a calming personality that made my cats really at ease. Both her and her husband were devoted to their own pet children and seeing that made me know mine would be safe and loved as well. I would absolutely recommend her as a short- or long-term pet sitter for your furry children. They will be in good hands! She is respectful and kind with us humans too!”

Allison S.

“I’m delighted to share my positive experience. Ali has consistently provided exceptional care for our furry friends, ensuring they get the exercise and attention they need. Her reliability, professionalism, and genuine affection for animals makes her an invaluable part of our pet’s routine. We’re grateful for her dedication and highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a trustworthy and caring sitter.”

Lauren G.
“Lauren has taken care of our cats on numerous occasions, and they are always happy and relaxed when we return. She is a compassionate pet-sitter and is very tuned in to the quirky needs of cats. Not only is she perfectly happy to cater to the peculiarities of their eating & drinking habits, but does so with love and affection. For us and our cats, that’s an important quality. We feel very safe leaving them in her competent care!”

Tiffany H.

“Tiffany is great with our dog, he loves her visits. Tiffany also looks out for anything additional our pup might might need while we are away and she makes sure he is well hydrated on walks, especially on hot summer days. We love Tiffany!”

Sitka P.
“Sitka is a responsible and loving pet caregiver. Most animals take to her right away because she is trustworthy and kind. I have watched Sitka be consistent and patient with the animals she cares for.”

taylor m.

“Taylor helped me coordinate dog walking for my parents and we are so glad we found her! She was highly communicative which is very appreciative. We will definitely hire her again! We can tell she truly loves our pup like her own. Thanks Taylor!”

About: My Cocker Spaniel Howard and I would love for you to come be a guest in our home! Come to Howards Hideaway the most exclusive vacation getaway for your furry friends. I have worked from home for the past 9 years so I am very flexible and there is yard access 24/7. With my flexible schedule walks are also flexible. Plus they will always have company. For in-home care, they would never be left alone and would be socialized the entire time or there is an option if they prefer solitude that can be set up as well. I have a 12-year-old dog who is very kind and a 12-year-old cat.

About: I am getting back into the swing of things, in my new apartment! This building even has a huge, elevated, outdoor area, off of the 3rd floor, with grass and walking paths, BBQs, ect. so, even though I am in an apartment, I have tons of outdoor access! Feel free to do a Google image search for the 123 4th Ave Apartments in downtown Olympia. There, you can see pictures of the elevated outdoor space, as well as the location, which is positioned within walking distance to Capitol Lake, the boardwalk and the many parks downtown. So that's my home, now a bit about me.. I have 13 years of hands of experience with pets of all species and circumstances, dogs and puppies mainly though. Thinking about it now, I realize that the bonds I made as a kid, with the dogs and puppies we were around, planted my love for all life. I've lived with dogs, cats, snakes, birds, Guinea pigs, fish ect. But the dogs rooted the strong empathy I feel for mistreated and neglected pets. Dogs are just SO visibly happy or sad! I learned the benefits of positive reinforcement. I recognize the reasons negative reinforcement is universally ineffective. I am fascinated with all pets, and would love to connect and hang out with as many as possible! No spiders though! I am just not ready to concur that fear quite yet! I particularly love working with babies, and have gained a lot of useful skills over the years. So, let me help you! In fact, one of my favorite times pet sitting was when I had to foster an orphaned kitten! Bottle, formula and all! It was the best! Thank you for considering me and I hope we can work together in the future! I'm available anytime right now! I am working on finishing my degree at the local community college, South Puget Sound Community College, and all my classes are online! And they will remain so, for the foreseeable future. No other pets! All my love is for your pets. I’ll make sure every pet is comfortable with everything they may need. I want to spoil them while I have them! Your pet won’t be ignored. I will engage regularly. There are plenty of places to walk to and nearby parks in downtown Olympia. Your pet will be my favorite house guest!
