I have a completely open schedule except for Tuesday mornings from 9 to 12, when I volunteer at Peer Olympia. I already walk daily for pleasure and would love to bring your pet along for the fun! I enjoy visiting local parks, nature trails, or simply exploring neighborhoods, gathering inspiration from gardens and architecture along the way. I’m also open to doing Doggo Joggos by special request to help chill out the zoomies or maximize your pup's health and longevity.

Safety, trust & environment
Every animal has a unique story and deserves to feel safe. I take time to understand each pet’s needs, creating calm, consistent routines they can rely on. Animals pick up on energy and body language, so I focus on staying grounded, positive, and present. Because I live a healthy, active lifestyle, I bring steady, supportive energy into every interaction. My goal is always to build a respectful environment where pets feel secure, understood, and able to grow at their own pace.
Information Matthew P. would like to know about your pet
I always like to learn about each dog’s unique personality and routine before we get started. If there are any special needs, behaviors, or quirks I should be aware of, feel free to share. It helps me make sure your dog has a fun, safe, and stress free experience. I would also love to know their walking habits, energy level, and any commands or house rules you'd like me to follow.
A typical day
Every pet and owners needs are unique, For more active pups, we’ll explore parks and nature trails where they can get the good sniffs in. At a park or around the house we can play fetch, tug of war, or work on basic commands. For mellow or senior dogs, I’ll provide calm strolls, gentle brushing, and plenty of companion time. My goal is to listen and learn from each dog and owner. Good communication is key for effective teamwork so I am proactive at asking questions so the job gets done right the first time.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with and cared for cats and dogs my whole life and have three cats of my own now. I enjoy watching dog and cat training shows to learn new ways to understand animal behavior. I’m big on patience, reading body language, and bringing calm, positive energy. I’ve cared for both young animals and seniors nearing the end of life, knowing each stage needs special attention and that every animal moves at their own pace. I build trust through routine, consistency, and by doing my best to understand the unique personality and past of each animal.
Reviews

Mathew was great with my Dads dog. Made sure she got lots of energy out going trail walking. She’s a bigger dog so my dad was worried she might be too strong but Mathew had no problems. Would recommend. 🐶
