About: I’ve personally cared for my puppy since he was just a baby, and I trained him myself using positive reinforcement techniques. This has given me a deep understanding of dog behavior, routines, and the importance of consistency and patience. On Rover, I know pet parents are trusting me with a member of their family—and I take that seriously. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. Whether your pup needs playtime, structured walks, or just a calm companion, I adapt to their needs and follow your care instructions closely. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send updates and photos to give you peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which means I’m able to give dogs the time, attention, and consistency they need throughout the day. I’m always nearby for potty breaks, playtime, walks, cuddles, and anything else your pup might need. As a proud dog mom who raised and trained my own pup from 4 months old, I understand how much patience and care young dogs require. Whether your dog is full of energy, still learning, or just needs a little extra love, I’m here to support them like family. When caring for pets in my home, I treat them like part of the family in a safe, loving, and secure environment. I live in a quiet space that’s perfect for anxious pups who need a calm and peaceful setting to feel at ease. I provide a clean, cozy area for your dog to relax and play, and I’m happy to share photos of the space ahead of time so you can feel confident about where your pup will be staying. For safety, I do not allow any strangers into my home during boarding or daycare. Since I work from home, your dog will always have supervision, consistent care, and plenty of love throughout the day.

About: My dog was a rescue with severe anxiety which we overcame with love and patience. In his senior years, I became adept at giving meds and dealing with his hearing loss and age-related issues. I have fostered multiple dogs through the years, all with different personalities and temperaments. My schedule is currently flexible so I am available during the week and many weekends. I am open for walks or drop-ins while you are at work. I don't have any pets in my house, so dogs needing to be solo are welcome. I have a private fenced back patio and beautiful green space around my home for lots of walks!

About: I’ve had dogs around me from childhood through adulthood. I feel like dogs are some of the most loyal creatures on earth that will love you unconditionally. Watching and identifying their various personalities, has been intriguing for me. My dog and I spend a lot of time together. We enjoy walks through Terry Hersey Park a few times a week. We also take the opportunity for him to socialize with others, once a week, at Bill Archer Dog Park. With that being said, even though I don’t currently have a yard, there is plenty of opportunity for any dog I am watching to enjoy taking walks and play time in the outdoors. I currently work remotely, so I have the time to care for your fur baby while you are away. I am looking forward to caring for and getting to know your fur baby! Working from home allows me the opportunity to watch and care for dogs on a weekly basis. Every dog that I board temporarily becomes my responsibility and receive the same level of care as my own dog. Due to limited space, I'm only able to board 1 or 2 dogs at a time. Even though I would love to watch more, it's rewarding to be able give the proper amount of needed attention to each dog.

“Very nice place for any pup to stay. They have a cute dog of their own who even though my older dog doesn’t like to play with does still get along well with. They send plenty of updates and are very sweet with my old girl. Will be going to them regularly.”

“Soo and her son took great care of our dogs Rocky and Remi, they were safe and looked super happy when we came back. She sent updates and pics during their stay which made us rest at ease. Their dogs were very friendly and got along well with ours. She was mindful and asked if it was okay to feed them treats. We will come back for sure to Soo again next time we need a sitter in Houston, thank you so much!!”

“Mariam provided a safe, friendly, and comfortable environment for my luna. Even got luna a new friend. I’m sure luna was satisfied with her stay with mariam. We will def be coming back a 2nd time and hopefully many more.”

“Javier was an excellent companion for Choco on their first meeting! He showed calmness and knowledge about handling dogs when we met, sent photos throughout the day, and when my wife went to pick up our dog, he seemed to have spent a very happy day with Javi! I recommend him and we will now have him as Choco's caregiver more often.”

“Jade is an awesome friend she has watched my overly energetic dog (Doberman) numerous of times within my time of needs. I was nervous because my dog is the same size as her but she was in control and kept up with my babies energy!!!”

Nicole H.
“Nicole pet and house sat for four nights a few weeks ago. I have a pitbull, an indoor cat and an outdoor cat. Usually the pitbull, Bleu has to go to his trainer for boarding when we are out of town. He's a big, strong dog, and I haven't found anyone I was comfortable leaving him with. Nicole came to our house a couple of times in advance of our vacation to make sure she and Bleu were a good match. Turns out I didn't have much to worry about. Nicole and Bleu are BFFs. It was a win/win situation for me and for our pets. They all got to stay home and keep their normal routines. Nicole sent pics and texts letting me know how everything was going. Bleu got pampered and lots of walks and love. The cats got attention when they wanted it and had no change to their routine. I didn't have to drive all around Houston dropping our pets off at their various boarding situations. Pretty sure my kitchen was a bit cleaner than when I left so that was an added bonus! ps...Bleu was on medication at the time. She managed to give him all his medication. Not everyone is brave enough to even try. KUDOS! We will be doing another short trip in a few weeks. If she's available...I'll be booking her.”

Annie H.

“Annie is quick to respond, reliable and accommodating!”

J Terrell L.Star Sitter
“J Terrell is a natural around animals. Our dogs are our family and he spoiled them like we do, and we never had to worry with him watching them. He's not the kind of sitter that just "watches" after your dog, he spends time with them, loves on them and spoils them. He is a great sitter and even better trust-worthy person. He is highly recommended.”
