“Grateful for Carla and her husband! I contacted her last minute and she took my dog ; sending several pictures per day to reassure me he was in good hands . Thank you Carla ! We have found us a trusted dog sitter”

“Special thanks to Jocelyn for going the extra mile when I couldn’t pick up Benedict on time. Not only was she gracious about my being late, but made me feel I had not inconvenienced her at all! So appreciated!!”

About: I grew up around dogs, and horses. I have 2 dogs, one gentle giant, and one tiny tyrant. I’ve potty trained my dogs along with taught them to sit, lay, give paw and they have learned how to push buttons to let me know they want to go outside, want a treat, play food or scratchies 🤗🤓 Attorney working from home. Live in a gated community with a dog park as a back yard. My pups get a lot of playtime. I spent at least an hour outside with them every morning, take them out for a potty break in the afternoon and another hour long play session in the evening. Working from home allows me to give your fur babies more love and attention Plus two friendly pups will keep your fur baby company. I have 2 crates for boarding, if needed.

“Mikka is awesome! She was available last minute and took great care of my pup. I was nervous as he’s only 3 months old but she helped by being communicative during his stay, sharing pictures and even socializing him with other dogs. I’ll definitely use her again!”

“Darius was a god sent. I was visiting Houston from Dallas with my husband and puppy. I stayed at a dog friendly hotel but even going for breakfast made my puppy very anxious alone in the room we decided to use over for the first time and I urgently contacted Darius. He was very prompt to respond and accommodated everything. He was very vigilant for for example I feed my dog fresh food, which I forgot to tell him, but he had already put the food in the fridge. He has a very sweet and loving puppy, and I could visibly see mylo happy. If I ever returned to Houston, Darius is my guy. Milo has never been around strangers, but he was extremely comfortable with Darius. He also sent updates every so often and was prompted to answer anything I asked. I don’t think twice.”

“Shelley is great with my dog! She takes him on walks, keeps me updated throughout the day, and shares details of the day at pickup. She has pet sit during the day for me a few times now and every time we turn into her place my dog gets excited!”

“Steven is great! He takes good care of my puppy and always gives updates with cute pictures. Also he is very flexible with time and date. Whenever I look for a sitter, I look for Steven first!”
“Sam was very easy to communicate and took great care of my dog. He helped my dog with anxiety feel comfortable & took the time to make sure he was comfortable. Would recommend 100%”

“Filipa is amazing with Tabasco. I’ve had her take him walking, she’s pick him up and brought him home for day care stays. I always get loads of pictures and updates too. She is very safety conscious and cares so well for my baby when he is in her care. I just can’t think of anyone better equipped and prepared.”

“Tressa was great to work with. I was in town on business and brought my pooch with me. Tressa was extremely responsive with the booking process and throughout my dog’s stay. He enjoyed himself every day and could tell he was well looked after. Thank you”

“Lesly was superb! Milo felt very comfortable with Lesly’s doodles and at her home. Lots of pictures were sent throughout the day, which made me feel at ease. I will continue using Lesly’s services this week and going forward.”
“Straightforward communication, nice quiet area and plenty of space for our Pomeranian to play and roam. We’d recommend these sitters to anyone in the area.”

“Tiffany is an excellent pet sitter. She is highly communicative, promptly responding to messages. Her home is exceptionally clean and safe for puppies. I will certainly utilize her services on a recurring basis. My dog Nimbus really enjoyed his time there. ☺️”

About: I've been playing with and caring for animals since childhood. I started with cats, dogs and horses, moving on to reptiles, birds, fish and small mammals. As an adult I became a Verterinary Technician. I am now retired so am available to give loving care to your pets. I'm retired from being a Vet. Tech. so have some time on my hands, which I would like to spend helping pet owners in my area receive professional loving and safe care for their special pets. Furry or otherwise I have a fenced yard with access via a doggie door. My dog is friendly and is happy to share with others. A large crate is available if that is preferred or needed at certain times. My regular routine includes walks, playtime, grooming and of course feeding and watering.
About: Hi! My name is Sonia and I love animals. I have been pet sitting for the past 20 years and I cannot live without pets. I go on 3 mile walks or runs every day with Knox and I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood. I’ve lost two dogs to cancer and heart disease so I am familiar with giving medication and taking care of elderly pets. I have owned and fostered all types of breeds and ages. Knox is friendly with dogs and cats and loves everyone, he wants to be around the attention all day. I have occasional errands and meet-ups with friends, but otherwise, I will be at home. I also have experience with cats since I owned two for their entire lives! For clients who are looking for someone to stay in their home, I am more than happy to accommodate my services in your own home but I just want to let you know that I am working for about 6-7 hours a day, so I will not be at your home all day. I’ve tried this option in the past and have actually found that dogs are much less anxious staying in a place they are familiar with :) I always question if the dog has any separation anxiety. I've dealt with plenty of dogs that experience separation anxiety and I have learned many tricks on how to help ease them into the stay and to feel more comfortable. But having the heads up helps that much more! I don't really have any breed preferences, just that they are friendly! Knox would stay at home unless it is okay to bring him over now and then or you'd prefer if they were to stay with us in your home. It's all up to you and your preference for your pup :) I am working remotely during the day, but I am constantly checking up on the fur babies and taking breaks to play and love on them. My job is very flexible. In my home or yours, I will be following all instructions given by the owner and giving all the attention I can to your pet. I will be working M-F, but my hours are very flexible. Otherwise, I will be around your pet at all times unless I have errands to run.
“Stephanie did a fantastic job with my dog during daycare! She was very responsive before, during, and after. She sent lots of photos during daycare and was flexible with my drop off and pick up times as things came up. Would recommend!”

Greater Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
I couldn’t be happier with the care Sam provided for my dog, Millie. From the start, it was clear that he genuinely cared about her and wanted her to have a great experience. He even took her on a walk without me requesting it, which I really appreciated. He also made sure she got plenty of playtime and attention during her visit. Millie absolutely loved the extra time and engagement, and it was clear that Sam went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and well cared for. It’s obvious that he treats the dogs he cares for like they’re his own. I felt completely comfortable knowing Millie was in such good hands, and I would absolutely book with him again. Highly recommend!

Lauren has a warm and friendly personality, responds quickly, sent pictures throughout the day, and took great care of my dog Frannie! Loved having her as a pet sitter. Frannie always seemed to be in a good mood when I picked her up! Plus her dog, Prince, got along very well with Frannie :)

Mykah was amazing! She took care of our baby Benito for the whole day, and he was so happy and calm when we picked him up. We had to book a last-minute stay since we’re not from H-Town and had to bring Benito with us, and Mykah responded incredibly quickly. Communication was excellent the entire time. She kept us updated on how Benito was doing and sent pictures and videos of him playing and snoozing, which we really appreciated. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend!

Michelle is so sweet! My dog is quite timid with new people and she warmed up to her easily. I appreciate the updates and pictures as I was also nervous leaving Penny with a stranger for the first time. I wish I lived closer because I would love to book Michelle again...

Kyle is literally THEEEEE BESTTTT! Bryxton was picked up & dropped off while i was out of town for work, which helped me tremendously. He was more than accommodating & even kept Bryx an additional day when my flight was rerouted & I wouldn't make it home. This was my first experience with rover & Kyle made it seamless! He sent lots of pictures, communicated throughout him boarding Bryx & was very thorough in caring for him. I would absolutely send Bryx back. Also, it was nice because he had a buddy over there to play with. Absolutely the best sitter! We appreciate ya Kyle!

Lidia is absolutely amazing. This is my first time using Rover and actually my first time using any type of doggy daycare. My little guy, Roo, is 13 years old and I was a bit nervous but after meeting Lidia and her little guy, Peanut, my mind was put at ease. Lidia is very knowledgeable about small dogs and very caring about Roo being comfortable in her home. Roo and I look forward to working with Lidia in the future.
Nydia met for a meet and greet a few days before the sitting. She brought her dog Luna to ensure her dog and my dog got along. Nydia responded promptly with communications and provided pictures during my dog's stay. Nydia was flexible with my early dropoff and late pickup.
