Pet care experience

Experienced, loving care

I absolutely love animals, and have since I was little. I have taken care of puppies, helped train service dogs, and care for my senior dog when I am at home. I did Rover in my last semester at college and loved it. I don’t have as much free time and availability as I once did but if our schedules align, I would love to help care for your pets. Truly, nothing would bring me more joy. I hope you'll consider me to help you look after your fur babies!

Sydney is the best! She consistently takes great care of my girl (including accommodating her medical needs) and gives her so much love. Phoebe loves Sydney so much.

Sydney was fantastic, and we’ll absolutely be booking with her again! She sent detailed updates and pictures after every visit, and her communication was excellent throughout the weekend. She even messaged when she realized my dogs were waiting on a command I’d forgotten to tell her about. 😂 I really appreciated that she paid attention to their routines and wasn’t afraid to ask questions. She was punctual, professional, and handled every curveball my girls threw her with ease—even when one decided breakfast suddenly wasn’t happening. What impressed me most was how genuinely caring she is. She didn’t just stop in to feed them and leave. She spent time outside playing ball, giving them extra scratches, and making sure they felt loved while we were away. One of my dogs had an accident on her blanket, and Sydney washed and dried it so it was clean and ready before bedtime. That was so thoughtful and completely above and beyond. By the end of the weekend, my dogs absolutely adored her—my pointer was doing happy donuts when Sydney walked through the door. ❤️ She’s reliable, communicative, and genuinely loves the animals she cares for. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Sydney was great checking in on Piper over the holiday weekend. She made sure he had play time and cuddles while we were away! Communication was easy and timely.

Sydney watched our dog Benny for a weekend and he had the best time!!! We received lots of pictures and updates from Sydney throughout his stay and it seemed like he was loving his time with her. She even took him out to dinner and gave him all the snuggles - she treated him just like he was her own and he felt right at home!

Safety, trust & environment

I like to let the animals lead, especially when I am in their space. They will get plenty of play time, as well as human interaction if that’s what they are interested in. I want to make sure your pups are safe, healthy, and happy, in that order. I want to care for them as I would expect anyone caring for my pets would. In complete honesty, helping to care for your pets will bring me more joy than I can express in just words and I pride myself on being an honest person with integrity.

A typical day

I love to play with dogs! From playing fetch, to tug of war, to snuffle mats, I think nothing is off bounds to keep dogs mentally as well as physically stimulated. I also love getting to know your pet's personality so they will show me what their favorite activities are. I like to let them lead, since I am there for them!

It is good for me to know ahead of time if your dog is reactive and what I can do to give them their best care. I do not have breed preferences.
