About: Hi! I'm a senior at Washington University in St. Louis and a huge dog lover! I have a golden retriever named Gus, so I have plenty of experience with dogs, especially larger breeds. I love being outdoors and going on walks, and I would love to have your pup join me! I'm reliable, responsible, and will make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and love while we're together! I am currently taking a light course load so I have lots of time in my schedule to walk and hang out with dogs! I'm very flexible and am available last minute. I am also happy to come meet your dog beforehand to make sure I am a good fit :) I will treat every dog I am with as if they are my own. About: I have been taking care of sweet, precious pups since I was 7 years old when my mom surprised me and my brother with a basset hound puppy after school. Her name was Roxanne. A couple years later, we rescued a 6-year-old basset hound, Brandi, and a few years later, we rescued a 1-year-old beagle mix, Misty, and adopted a basset hound puppy, Willow, who had just been born on a farm near our house. We treasured our sweet babies, cooking for them every day - hard-boiled eggs for breakfast and meat and veggies for dinner. And they lived long, happy lives. Brandi, Misty, and Willow all made it to about 15 years old! I just moved from Colorado to start my PhD in Public Health at WashU, and I can't wait to pick back up with dog sitting again! In Colorado, I was the honorary dog sitter at my church. One couple even flew me out to California a few times to continue caring for their sweet pup after they moved! Between my own dogs and others' dogs, I've taken care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors who need lots of support. I am a PhD student at WashU Bursky School of Public Health. This semester, I have a class on the Danforth campus on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm, and Thursdays from 1pm-4pm. My research is remote. So, I have lots of flexibility to make sure your pups get their potty breaks and play time and walk time, even on days that I have class. And house sitting would work super well :) I am offering house sitting, check-ins, and walks. If I am house sitting, I will always stay the night to make sure your pets are safe and well taken care of. I will keep the outer doors locked and make sure I am able to hear your pets if they need me. I am also happy to sleep in the same room with them if that is your preference. I will make sure to follow whatever schedule your pets need, e.g., eating, medicine, walking. As far as check-ins and walks, I will make sure to respect whatever rules you have for the house (e.g., shoes off, doors locked). I'm also happy to give your dogs a bath when they need it!

About: I have 6 years of experience caring for cats and 3 years with dogs. I trained my dog when he was a puppy, rescued stray cats and helped a lost dog find a new home. Also introduce my second cat who is a strayed cat to my first cat. I’m currently in my gap year so I have lots of time to caring your cat or dogs (also puppy!) Pet care fits into my daily routine as I enjoy spending time training, feeding, and playing with them. Boarding pets will have their own bedroom, and share the living room with/without resident cats depending on how they get along. I have a safe environment at home. There’s no child in home. Your dog will be my main priority. I do this full time. Recently, my son moved home and has a five pound Pomapoo . Your pet must be friendly with small dogs. I walk daily and have a large fenced in yard for play. I dog sit full time. I’m generally only gone for a few hours at a time. I am willing to stay home if anxiety/ health issues develops. About: I've worked in dog daycare, as a dog bather, walker, and sitter. I'm comfortable meeting dogs where they are at and learning how to do right by each pup My main job is working within a pet salon, so I plan to do Rover on my short days and/or days off. About: Fortunately, I was born into an animal loving family so I was blessed to have and care for animals of all kinds. Includes but not limited too: hermit crabs, gerbils, fish and more.
