I prioritize safety and consistency in your dog’s routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding, walking routes, leash use, and any specific behaviors or preferences. I keep dogs on leash unless told otherwise and stay alert during walks to avoid unsafe situations with traffic or other animals. In your home, I respect your space and keep things clean and secure. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are properly closed and that your dog is always accounted for. I also provide updates and photos so you know how your dog is doing.

A typical day
I take dogs on walks around the neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in backyard where they can safely run and play, whether that’s fetch or just getting some extra time outside. My goal is to keep them active, engaged, and comfortable.

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs my whole life, starting with two smaller, more temperamental dogs and now caring for two large golden retrievers. I have also spent a lot of time with my cousins’ Great Danes! That range has taught me how to handle different personalities, energy levels, and behaviors. I’m comfortable with both high-energy dogs and ones that need a more patient approach. I’m also very reliable and will follow your instructions closely, send updates, and make sure your dog gets the attention and care they’re used to. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and miss mine from home, so I treat every walk like I would with my own.

Mercy is an excellent dog walker! She arrived on time, took Gracie for a long walk, and she tired her out the perfect amount so that she wasn’t too antsy when I got back from class. I will definitely be using her again!
Mercy has been taking care of our dogs since she was a kid, and we’ve trusted her ever since. Most recently, she watched our two goldens for five days, and everything went seamlessly. The dogs adore her—they wag like crazy when they see her at the door and immediately bring her their favorite toys. She’s incredibly reliable and professional, but what really sets her apart is her natural ease and warmth with animals. We feel completely at ease leaving our dogs in her care. Highly recommend!
Elizabeth is great with dogs. She is calm, careful, and respectful. While she loves a good game of fetch or frisbee as much as anyone, she also knows when to set boundaries and calm things down. Most of all, she is friendly, loving, and able to connect with even the most stubborn pups.
Mercy is one of my closest friends at WashU. She is responsible, caring, and diligent. I’ve seen her interact with her family’s three dogs with extreme love and care, and with my own dog as well. I know she would be a very trustworthy and considerate dog walker.
