Safety, trust & environment
As the owner of a highly active cat who gets into everything and has an escapist streak, I am keenly aware of potential household hazards and respect and understand door/gate safety protocols. I observe a pet owner’s instructions to the highest degree because I know that you know your own animal better than anyone else.
Information Renee O. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know how your dog reacts to other dogs, squirrels, and people while on walks, and what usually works to distract and de-escalate them! Also, if your pet has a preferred toy or specific method of play that works for them, I would love to be able to facilitate that! Additionally, please let me know if there is a veterinarian you would like me to contact in case of an emergency.
A typical day
Depending on your little friend's speed, we can take a long walk through Forest Park, visit the SLU dog park and play fetch, or just sniff around to their heart's content! I'm also very used to finding new ways to stimulate indoor cats intellectually, whether that means playing with toys that mimic prey, making homemade treat puzzles, or just running around to expend energy.

Pet care experience
I’ve been fortunate to care for many pets over the years— from the first cat I begged for at age 5, to the cherished pets of housemates and friends, to my own spicy little guy, Poe. I’ve looked after post-op dogs, administered oral medications, managed feline diabetes, monitored blood glucose levels, given flea baths, nursed sick kittens, and I’m particularly good at clipping grumpy cats’ nails. I firmly believe that there’s no such thing as a “bad” or “mean” animal— only a human who hasn’t yet leaned to understand their boundaries and earned their trust!

Reviews

As always, Renee takes such good care of my Buttercup. She gives her the most enriching walks and always comes back so happy. I am grateful for Renee and I trust her wholeheartedly.

Renee is wonderful. She is reliable, communicative, punctual, and has my dog's best interests at heart. I trust her fully to make sure that my pup is happy and safe on walks. When my dog was sick, she kept a close eye on her and kept me updated about symptoms. She's absolutely incredible and would recommend her to anyone.

Renee did a perfect job! Did all of the tasks I asked her to do and some more. She swept up some cat litter+washed the dishes the cats were eating wet food off of. I have awkward cats but she she didn't give up on trying to get along with them. Would book again.
Renée is very reliable and follows instructions with detail & care. She treated our senior beagle and three cats with lots of love! Clearly well experienced with dogs and cats of all ages and needs.
