“My pup loved staying over at Brandin’s! Highly recommend! I look forward having them care for my fur babe the next time we need a sitter! Thank you Brandin and Diana for taking such great care of my gentle giant! ❤️”

“Petra did an amazing job watching my two boys and it made our trip better knowing they were in good hands. Seeing the daily photos from the walks and cuddles made us very happy. The boys were both super happy at pickup and I could tell they both had a lot of fun. We will definitely be returning for future trips.”

“Maisy did a great job with Ruby (and with me). She sent me a text with pictures of Ruby making friends on the first day and a little information about how she was doing. I got another text from Maisy the next morning to let me know how Rugy had done during the night. I really appreciated the update. This was the first day of my vacation, so I was not able to get Ruby myself, but my daughter got her. She said Ruby was glad to see her but would also have gone back to play with the other dogs if she had been allowed to : ) I will happily ask Maisy to look after her again when the need arises. Sorry this is so long in coming, but I only returned from my trip yesterday.”

“Shelia and her family are the best sitters ever!! They truly love dogs and take the best care of your pet. She will love your pup like it her own and is a genuinely wonderful person. I hope I never have to use anyone else. ?”
“Marilyn has been so incredible. She has taken such great care of our pup. Our dog was a little timid when we first dropped her off, but Marilyn was so kind and patient with her. We will definitely use her again.”

“Cheryl did a wonderful job with Lady. She kept us informed with daily pictures and comments. A plus rating. We will definitely use her as our primary dog sitter and highly recommend her to anyone.”

About: For over 11 years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, providing dependable, attentive, and personalized care that gives owners complete peace of mind. I work part time and I am free after 12 am to give your pet all the attention that they deserve to make them feel right at home! Whether your pet stays with me or I visit your home, my goal is the same: keep their routine as close to normal as possible. For boarding, your dog becomes part of my household — same feeding times, walks, and bedtime habits, with free run of a secure, fenced yard and constant supervision. For house sitting, I stay overnight at your place, keeping their routine steady while also looking after your home (mail, lights, the usual). For drop-in visits and walks, every stop includes fresh food and water, a walk or potty break matched to their energy level, and playtime or cuddles. And for day care, I offer supervised one-on-one attention rather than a crowded group setting, balancing active play with rest. Across every service, you’ll get photo and video updates so you always know how your pet’s doing.
“Valentine was so kind and easy to work with. I could tell she really cared about my dog and took lots of care to make sure she got along with the other pets in the home. She is flexible and so communicative too!”

“Tamber was attentive and informative during Miles' first stay. We loved her daily reports and concerns that Miles was as comfortable as possible while in her home. Thank you Tamber so much for everything. You are a gift.”

“Wonderful! Our dog Eevee enjoyed her stay and felt right at home. The owners of Hugh’s and Hounds were so friendly and did everything to make her stay great! Good communication, went above and beyond! Highly recommend and will use them again if we need to board.”

About: In my day job I am a home health/ Hospice assistant so I not only have experience taking care of people I also take care of people's fur babies when they are unable to. I also grew up with dogs so there is not a day that goes by in 25 years I have not taken care of a furry friend I currently work monday through friday 730am to 330 pm so afternoons and weekends are when I am most avaliable, and over nights as needed. I have vast knowledge of walking safety, leash control/safety, environmental triggers, and the importance of hydration and rest. When pet setting, I like to have a secure outdoor/ yard area, i stick to the owner and dogs set routine, and I like to respect that I am a guest in the animals home

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Watson can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Watson home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Watson.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
