“Marisol watched my sweet girl who I was recovering from my very serious deep eye ulcer. This required her to put in antibiotic eye drops in both of my dog’s eyes three times a day. I was nervous about hiring a sitter because I wasn’t sure how they would be able to handle this, however, Marisol made sure to ask a lot of questions and was able to give my dog all of her drops! I’ve always had family members take care of my dog whenever I go on vacation, but I moved out of state and so I had to rely on a sitter. Marisol was very responsive, she was on top of all of my dogs antibiotic eye drops, and helped put my mind at ease while I took a long weekend trip away.”

About: Though I do not own my own pets I have always been around dogs and have been a source for family members when they need their dog taken cared of. I’m currently a part-time worker at Anthropologie and I am taking summer classes, but I have a very flexible and adaptable schedule to meet any needs! I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. I provide fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages. In a client's home, I make sure their pet receives consistent care while keeping the home clean and secure. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where pets feel happy and cared for.

I’ve studied textbooks and kept logs of training with my dogs since middle school. I helped raise 2 litters of puppies and have rescued cats and dogs throughout the years. I’m currently a college student looking to make extra money, and not being allowed my own dogs to live with me at College has sucked. Though, being able to have the opportunity to care for others pets has been so rewarding! I’m here to care for your companions as if they were my own! I work part time late afternoons/evenings and have classes from noon to early afternoons. I am open to caring for your pets in the early mornings and late evenings. I’m always open to negotiating a schedule that works for you as well! Unfortunately, I’m not allowed pets in my apartment. Although I am available to care for your pets while you’re on vacation at your home, daily check-ins and walks around the neighbourhoods ! Back home I take my dogs to the park or the arts district to meet other dogs for socialization and exercise! I’m open to most activities with your pets!!

About: I love animals, especially dogs and cats! I’ve been obsessed with them since young. I’ve volunteered at shelters and worked at veterinary offices. I’ve raised energetic puppies and cared for a handful of elderly dogs. I am pet CPR and first aid trained. I would love to meet your fur baby and see if my pets and home are a good fit for their stay! This is a side business for me as I am a remote worker who just wants to add more income and joy to her life. I would follow the same schedule your pet receives at home (feeding time, sleep, potty breaks, etc). I have a 6 foot tall wooden fenced yard and a husky girl who has the energy to play all day but if your pet tells her they aren’t interested, she will understand (with a sad face of course). I like to think of pets as family so the couches and beds are not restricted to them. I use free and clear laundry detergent and natural home cleaners. I also do not feed table scraps unless it is okayed by the parent -even then it would be pet safe scraps. I know dog CPR and first aid. I am also aware of what foods to avoid and take allergies very seriously. My yard is regularly treated for any fleas or ticks.
