About: Hi my name is laila and i’ve worked at 4 dog daycares. My most recent and committed one has been fidos playland. I’ve been working with dogs since around 2021 and have one of my own that i trained. I get the basic understand behind dogs in general since i’ve been with them every single day and love to learn there personalities to communicate with them. I babysit from home i have a mini dog daycare the most i get through the day is about 5 dogs. I did work in a boarding facility and in dogs homes before. I stay home all day with the dogs and dedicate my time to them. About: I cared for Breezy( Portuguese Water dog💕💕) in my home for 4 yrs while her mom went to work each day. Sadly she passed away😞…, but she had the best time and fun with my family and I for 4 fab years. I have also taken care of family and friends dogs while they go away on vacation. I’m a stay at home mom who loves the outdoors and I take several walks a day with my 12yr old dog Frieda, I have a lot of free time during the day between the hrs of 9am -6 pm for in home visits and walks. I graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University, and I’m currently a PhD student studying the pedagogy of caring. While my research focuses on human education, I find that the same spirit of empathy and attentiveness naturally extends to how I care for pets. I study remotely from home, so I’m around most of the time to keep my furry friends company and make sure they feel loved and secure. At home, I’ve created a cozy and playful space for my pets. About: Aside from growing up caring for animals, I’ve worked at a dog daycare for about a year. During my time there I learned a lot about dog behavior and how to read their body language. Now, I am currently studying canine training and management at SUNY Cobleskill where I work with a variety of canine’s daily. So I am currently on summer break from school, so I can assure you I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I start my day off by making sure my babies are fed and have fresh water, followed by going out for a walk and playing outside for a little! I have a dog and a cat who is very shy. It’s a stress reliever for her and fun for the both of us :) Vanessa is a former teacher and tutor, so her schedule is also fit for dog sitting! Attentiveness is the most important thing for us when with pets. In our home, we make sure that we can see the dog playing at all times. We put items away that are not dog-friendly and we recently purchased a house and set it up to have dog friendly rooms with space to play safely. On walks, the same applies. We are always attentive to the dog and how they feel, how they interact with other people and other dogs. Playing is fun, but we like to do it so that the dog and others are safe! I work full-time from home and my partner is only part-time and also from home. One of us is always home and available to be fully attentive to your dogs! I have a partially fenced backyard which allows for lots of room to play with supervision or on long leads. Our downstairs is set up to acclimate doggy zoomies and play time with couches, open space and easy bathroom access since it is a walkout basement.
