About: Hi! My name is Sarahi, and I'm a gal who has always had a passion for loving and working with animals. I have 9 years of pet sitting experience, as I've been pet sitting since I was fourteen years old, and haven't stopped since. I love animals of any size or personality or quirk - they're all worthy of love and attention in my eyes! However, those who know me know that I have a soft spot for dogs :) Neighbors, friends and family members have all trusted me to feed, walk and care for their precious fur-babies. I have experience caring for doggos of all ages- from puppies to seniors. Depending on location, duration, and/or what you prefer, I can plan to stay with them overnight or just drop in to spend time during the day as needed. I'm all about doing what is most comfortable for your fur-baby! Gentle compassion and enthusiastic care are standards I always uphold. I value clear communication and honesty with pet parents. My attention to detail helps me ensure that every pet I care for gets the individualized attention they deserve. My goal is to make sure they feel loved and safe in their own homes while you are away. I love to take them on walks, help groom and bathe them, make sure they are fed, help with medication if necessary and of course - play and give them lots of love. I can also just lay around with them if that’s more their speed. Whatever their needs, I’m here to help while you’re away! :) I can offer plenty of time to dedicate to your pet. I currently work from home three days a week and have a very flexible schedule, making it super easy to bring my work to the home I sit for and attend to your pet's needs. I spend my days off participating in volunteer work mostly in the mornings, but I always ensure to be back in time to take care of them. I am unable to board at my house but am more than willing to drop in or stay at yours :)- whatever makes you and your pet feel most comfortable! In both cases, I make sure to follow pet parents’ instructions very carefully. I will ensure that all areas that we are playing or walking in are either fenced in or they are always leashed. When I’m away, they can be crated if needed and I will ensure they are let out before I leave. Pets in my care are always supervised. I make sure to regularly check on them when things seem too quiet, and am attentive to food, water, and potty needs. I provide a comfortable and familiar environment for your pet, sticking to their regular routines. I also give lots of attention and love to keep them feeling safe and happy. After years of house sitting, I am also used to existing respectfully in someone else’s space. I am tidy and always try to make your home as clean as it was when you left before I leave. I am a quiet neighbor and will ensure that all doors are locked/security systems are set when needed. I make sure to stay in constant communication with you, sending updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in great hands!

About: I take pride in my work and strive to treat each and every animal I care for as I would my own personal pets. I personally understand how difficult it can be to trust someone with your furry family members and do my best to make the experience as amazing as possible for both pets and pet parents. I have worked in the pet care industry for over ten years now. I began dog walking in NYC, then managed a luxury boarding/daycare facility for dogs in East Syracuse. Since then I have also branched out into working in animal rescue as well. I also am currently pursuing a certification in dog training. I currently work for myself so my hours are flexible. I can accommodate dog walking most mornings, afternoons and nights. I currently offer in home boarding but limit it to three dogs per night to ensure the best quality of care. I understand that allowing someone into your home to care for your pet can be nerve racking, so I strive to be as mindful of this as possible. Some of the ways I ensure I do this are by speaking with the client before hand to go over anything specific they need done, entering the home in a safe and respectful manner, greeting the pet I'm caring for with enthusiasm, creating a bond with them & making the experience as fun and stress free as possible.

About: Hi. My name is Kiki and I love dogs!! I have years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I was a manager at a cage-free dog daycare for 5 years, where I handled everything from group play supervision to administering medications and managing daily care routines. I also volunteered for 3 years at Second Chance Dog Rescue, helping with socialization, walking, and basic training. In addition, I’ve provided trusted pet sitting services in Peekskill, NY for 5 years until the family relocated. I’m trained in pet CPR, comfortable administering all types of medications, and have a dog of my own—so I truly understand how important it is to find someone reliable and compassionate to care for your pets. I have a car, am highly dependable, and treat every animal as if they were my own. Although I work full-time and attend school, I have large daily time blocks available between commitments, which I dedicate to pet sitting, walking, and drop-in visits I care for every pet like my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while following their regular routine, my skills are administering medications, and giving personalized attention. Every pet has a specific personality so I try to respect that much like people.

About: I’ve had cats, dogs and many other animals my entire life and know how important it is that they get quality care and love! I have always cared for all other animals with love and attention as if they were my own whether they were strays or belonged to friends/family. I have dog-walked and pet-sat for friends and family whenever they have needed help, making sure their pets are well taken care of not just physically but emotionally (to the best of my ability!) while they are away. I have walked and pet-sat dogs of all kinds including puppies and senior dogs as well as disabled and special needs! I have also done feedings and general care for other animals including chickens, horses, goats, llamas, reptiles and others. Throughout my life I have rescued and/or taken care of a range of animals including kittens/cats, puppies/dogs, rabbits, chickens, raccoons, mice, opossums, birds, fish and reptiles. With many years of experience caring for animals, I am confident in my ability to provide attentive, compassionate care to your fur babies! I am available in the mornings and early afternoons for pet check-ins, walks, and other care needs. Additionally, I am available after 5pm on weekdays for any evening care, ensuring pets receive attention at the end of the day. I also offer overnight or weekend boarding, providing reliable care when owners are away. My flexible schedule allows me to tailor my services to meet the specific needs of pets and their owners, offering peace of mind and dependable support. When boarding pets in my home, I offer a safe and comfortable environment tailored to each pet's needs. Depending on the pet's temperament and preferences, I can either crate them for security or allow them to roam freely in a designated pet-friendly area. I ensure that they have plenty of space to play, rest, and feel at ease. I’m committed to maintaining a routine similar to what they’re used to at home, including feeding schedules, exercise, and personal attention. If needed, I can also provide extra care, such as administering medications or offering special accommodations for senior or special-needs pets. When caring for pets in the client’s home, I focus on maintaining a familiar and safe environment for them. I will follow the established routines for feeding, walking, and any other care instructions provided. Whether it’s keeping them indoors, ensuring they have outdoor playtime, or administering any medications, I approach each task with responsibility and attention to detail. My goal is to offer peace of mind to pet owners, knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for in the comfort of their own home or mine.

About: Hello, I’ve had a dog for as long as I can remember. our “foster-fail” pup is learning to communicate with Fluent Pet buttons! She’s the friendliest little Morkie who would love some friends while mom’s home! She’s learned hand signals and verbal commands all with positive reinforcement! Feel free to reach out with any questions at all I work from home and already have a pet care routine built in! We go for three walks a day and whatever time in between we spend in the backyard playing fetch or dipping into her mini pool to cool off We currently have a yard, though it’s not fenced is large and set back. we also have set it up with leads for 50 yards. Our home has a crate and pen area “doggie room” id like to call it just next to my desk where I work if crating / alone time is needed. Three walks a day! The honest kitchen is the dog food we use along side fruits, treats, and peanut butter for snacks! Endless toys and enrichment ideas are planned for every day! Rolled towels for treats, boxes for tearing, snuffle mats, lick mats, balls you name it lol! Athena is pretty spoiled and I’d love to spoil your pup too! She gets along very well with friends and has both female, male, toy sized friends, xl golden doodle friends! She LOVE tugging with other dogs it’s the cutest. Going to someone else’s home would be lovely and I’m happy to bring items with me! Just let me know your boundaries and what you’re working on with your pup and I’m happy to help in any way. Older pups are my sweet spot. My late shihtzu diagnosed with cancer was on medication for a bit and needed a lot of extra love and support, happy to provide this as well.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Maybrook stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Maybrook choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Maybrook with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Maybrook. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
