Luna is anxious and they either with her to warm up, there are two couples in the house and her son and they all take care of the dogs. What a wonderful place to leave your pup.”

He also brought all her things (bed, food, toys, etc) back to my car when I picked her up, which was so generous. Genevieve also had the best time with them, and was very happy and relaxed. “Tara is an excellent at communicating everything prior to my Beau’s visit. We came from out of state and needed somewhere to put our 8 month old lab. Tara even planned to have another dog come over so he had someone to play with that has a lot of pup energy. I was kept informed through this overnighter and saw some pictures of his play time and nap time. When I go back to NY I will definitely use Tara again. She made us feel at ease knowing he was being cared for.”

“Our dog Andy had an amazing time at Mike’s. There was a large yard and a long tie out for him to run around and play to his heart’s content. There’s a pen area attached to the house where the dogs can go into through a doggie door from the house. Apparently Andy loved the sunroom/porch where he could look outside while relaxing. Andy LOVED playing with Mike’s two dogs—he had the best time! Mike was attentive and made and feel at home. He figured out ways to make Andy like his food more. We’ll be using Mike again when we go out of town.”

“Amy not only came through on very short notice, she was kind, professional and accommodating. Tango - who had only been sat by family members prior to this - immediately felt comfortable and welcome. He had a ball, was well cared for and even got a bath and nail trim for an extremely reasonable additional charge. Amy is close to the retreat we were on, which was part of the reason why we chose her, but I would seriously consider making the 2-hour trip to her if Tango needed sitting again, regardless of her proximity to where I was going.”

She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. All in all, I would recommend Andrea to work with anyone who has pets they love and want to broaden the scope of their pet's world by allowing Andrea to work with them and care for them.
