“Kimberly was thoughtful and communicative and took good care of our cat while we were away for the weekend. We appreciate Kimberly, would recommend her, and plan on asking her to do future kitty visits!”
“Jasmine is fantastic! My dog is nervous around new people and takes a little while to warm up. Jasmine is so patient and accommodating and took the time to make my dog feel comfortable. She’s reliable and communicative and takes great care of my dog when she drops in.”

“We simply could not have asked for better and we are so thrilled and relieved that we have found such great care for our 2 cats and one dog. We have a stretch booked with Paula for September and it gives us such peace of mind to know they will be so well cared for. Thank you Paula!”

About: Hi! I’m a devoted dog mom to Millie, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and I bring that same hands-on care to every dog I look after. Raising Millie has taught me how much dogs thrive on consistency — reliable potty breaks, patient leash time, and reading their cues. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules and specific dietary needs, and I love a good sniff-led walk that lets a dog explore at their own pace. I’m patient, observant, and treat every dog’s home and routine like my own. Expect close attention to your instructions, thoughtful updates, and a sitter who genuinely loves the work. Looking forward to meeting your dog! 🐾 Pet care is already woven into my everyday routine — I’m home with Millie for feedings, potty breaks, and walks multiple times a day, so caring for a dog on a consistent schedule is second nature to me. I’m happy to build drop-in visits around your dog’s existing routine, whether that means a quick midday potty break or a longer afternoon walk. Since I’m mainly offering drop-in visits and walks, I focus on keeping things consistent with what your dog already knows — following their regular schedule, feeding routine, and any specific instructions closely. In my own home, I’m hands-on with Millie’s daily care, from meals to sniff-led walks, and I bring that same patience and attention to detail into your home so your dog feels comfortable and looked after.
“James is always conscientious of issues while we are away. The power went out so the litter went out with the trash in case the toilet wouldn’t flush. We always get such cute photos of our cat babies too!”

About: Hi. My name is Kiki and I love dogs!! I have years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I was a manager at a cage-free dog daycare for 5 years, where I handled everything from group play supervision to administering medications and managing daily care routines. I also volunteered for 3 years at Second Chance Dog Rescue, helping with socialization, walking, and basic training. In addition, I’ve provided trusted pet sitting services in Peekskill, NY for 5 years until the family relocated. I’m trained in pet CPR, comfortable administering all types of medications, and have a dog of my own—so I truly understand how important it is to find someone reliable and compassionate to care for your pets. I have a car, am highly dependable, and treat every animal as if they were my own. Although I work full-time and attend school, I have large daily time blocks available between commitments, which I dedicate to pet sitting, walking, and drop-in visits I care for every pet like my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while following their regular routine, my skills are administering medications, and giving personalized attention. Every pet has a specific personality so I try to respect that much like people.
“Theresa did a great job caring for my black and white cat Leo who needs injections of insulin and for my orange cat Oliver. She was able to accomplish everything needed and was very pleasant to work with!”

About: If you’d ask anyone in my life they will tell you I am a dog person more than human person. I’ve always had immense love for all dogs and do my best to play off their personality :). My three years of experience at a dog daycare/boarding facility has taught me patience with all dogs. I can provide feeding, walking, medicating (have cared for diabetics) and can be a temporary companion for your baby if needed :) While I was in my undergrad I had the wonderful experience of fostering a pitty mix from my local spca for 3 months. When we got him he was extremely underweight and was having a hard time in the shelter. I nursed him back to the happy guy he was all along and he’s now in a happy loving home 🖤 I’m currently working part time and taking classes as I am in the process of completing a masters program. I do not know the days I work week to week but am available to give services 3 times a day (7amish, 2pmish, and in the pm). My family dog is a grazer so we just put some food out for the day and he’ll eat whenever. If your pups have scheduled meals I’m 100% able to work with it. If your pup is high energy and my schedule is open I’m available to play with them, find a park or take them for a walk to give them enrichment. For those with reactive or babies that have a hard time trusting strangers, I completely understand and can work with that as well!!
About: I have been pet sitting since the age of 14. I have looked after animals of all kinds, such as dogs, cats, chickens, reptiles, and amphibians. I am comfortable giving medication (outside of injection) and am willing to work with animals of all ages. As we enter the school year I am unavailable for midday drop ins but am available for house sitting or walks after 4pm. This is not my full time position so I will be unavailable from 8am to 4pm. My availability will open up during holiday breaks so keep an eye out for when my availability opens up. I always schedule a meet-and-greet before any care to get to know you and your pets. It helps me ensure I am providing the best care.
“Gianna has been a pleasure to work with this month. December can be challenging but she remained flexible and up beat despite the weather. My mini dachshund is absolutely in love with her. Thank you 💕”

About: I take pride in my work and strive to treat each and every animal I care for as I would my own personal pets. I personally understand how difficult it can be to trust someone with your furry family members and do my best to make the experience as amazing as possible for both pets and pet parents. I have worked in the pet care industry for over ten years now. I began dog walking in NYC, then managed a luxury boarding/daycare facility for dogs in East Syracuse. Since then I have also branched out into working in animal rescue as well. I also am currently pursuing a certification in dog training. I currently work for myself so my hours are flexible. I can accommodate dog walking most mornings, afternoons and nights. I currently offer in home boarding but limit it to three dogs per night to ensure the best quality of care. I understand that allowing someone into your home to care for your pet can be nerve racking, so I strive to be as mindful of this as possible. Some of the ways I ensure I do this are by speaking with the client before hand to go over anything specific they need done, entering the home in a safe and respectful manner, greeting the pet I'm caring for with enthusiasm, creating a bond with them & making the experience as fun and stress free as possible.

“We hired Kalyna for a home visit just to meet her and have her spend a little time getting to know our dog. Everything went great, and we hired her for a home visit next weekend. We look forward to working with her!”

About: I’m a dedicated animal lover with two dogs and a cat of my own who are truly my children—so I will treat your pets with the same love, care, and attention I give mine. I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to keeping pets comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining their normal routines. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feedings, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I make sure every pet feels at home and well cared for. I follow all instructions closely and provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind and ensure your pets feel loved every step of the way. I’d love to meet you and your furry family members! I am very active and love going for walks so if it includes your fur baby that’s a plus! I am here to fit your fur babies needs. I love bonding with ALL animals. I have a horse, a cat and two dogs of my own who I love and care for daily. I love giving treats, baths and lots of play time.
“Kaitlyn was an awesome sitter for my cat for the 5 days I was away. She followed all of my instructions that I had and was great with the details and pics of her visits. I would 100% recommend her services. Thank you so much Kaitlyn for taking care of my fur baby! ?”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Montgomery
Angelique is amazing ! She watched my three dogs and I cannot recommend her enough. She treated my dogs and my home as if they were her own. We were in contact throughout my time away. She took extra special care of my elderly dog and allowed my St. Bernard time to warm up to her. She is very experienced and it is very obvious the dogs safety and well being were her top priority. I cannot wait to use her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
