“My dogs love Rachel. I love her feedback each visit and she should be a pet photographer with how much the pictures capture my dog’s personality!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life — I’m 38 now, so that’s a lot of years loving pups! I’ve cared for everything from tiny 5 lb cuties to big 120+ lb snugglers, and dogs of all ages and personalities. I’ve worked on training with all my own dogs and have no problem giving medications when needed. As a foster with a local rescue, I’ve helped anxious, scared, and quirky dogs feel safe and loved. I truly believe every dog is unique, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for like family. I work from home most of the week, so your pup will get plenty of attention, love, and company! I only go into the office one day a week, and that day is flexible and usually short. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m happy to adjust to what works best for you and your dog! I live in a pet-friendly apartment and provide lots of walks, snuggles, and personalized care. I limit how many dogs I take at once to make sure everyone gets the attention they need. My own three dogs are friendly and used to sharing their space, but I can also crate your pup if that’s part of their routine or helps them feel safe.

“Madison is the best! My dog Chico loves her more than me bc she’s so friendly and loves dogs. She is reliable, communicative and very caring with my pup. Could not be more happy!”

About: I bring a teacher’s touch to caring for your pup! As a former elementary school teacher, I’ve got loads of experience in behavior management, patience, and creative problem-solving. Whether it’s helping a shy pet feel safe or channeling a high-energy pup’s zoomies into a fun game, I know how to keep things running smoothly (and joyfully!). I’m also a bit of a pet-training enthusiast. I’ve even taught my cats to use pet doors and hang out with me unleashed while I garden—basically, I’ve turned them into honorary dogs! They’re super social and cuddly because I believe every animal deserves love, enrichment, and positive interactions. I absolutely LOVE dogs, but we're currently at our max pet capacity. So, I pour my animal affection into my kitties and helping others by volunteering at the DuPage animal shelter, where I get to meet all kinds of amazing furry friends. I've also recently taken on raising and releasing monarchs in an effort to restore the dwindling population. Our garden is a designated Monarch Way Station. I've tagged and released hundreds of monarch butterflies over the last 3 summers. In short, I combine my teaching skills, training know-how, and pure love for animals to give pets—and their people—a fun, safe, and worry-free experience! I am an adjunct instructor. My classes don't reume until September 22nd, so right now, I am available every day. After that, I only will only teach two classes, so I'll have quite a flexible schedule to sit for animals with availability every afternoon and 3 full days a week. I am highly skilled at reading animal body language. The most important thing in keeping animals safe and calm is to determine how they're feeling in order to provide what they need--whether it's space, food, play or something more serious like medical attention. I make sure every animal has a corner of his/her own to take time needed privacy or R&R. I make sure animals in my care have plenty of opportunities to play, are stimulated, cuddled (if that's what they like), fed a healthy diet and feel like a part of the family.

About: I have trained my dog Jack, my sisters dog Benji and my mom's dog Billy. I Started training them as young as 8 weeks old. I am available on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. I am open to other evenings during the week and I can be flexible if needed. I have a fully fenced backyard at my home. While in a clients home, I will make sure that the dog has food and water, and goes to the bathroom outside while I am there. I am happy to clean up any messes the dog may make, and also happy to play with the dog.

“Angela has done a few drop on visits for us and we really appreciate her! She’s very accommodating and we feel good leaving our puppy with her :)”

“Melissa is wonderful! She’s so good with our dogs and is very conscientious. One of our dogs takes a while to warm up to new people, but Melissa helped her feel more comfortable with her. I would highly recommend Melissa!”

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and have over 10 years of experience caring for them. I grew up watching my neighbors’ and friends’ dogs, and of course, taking care of my own. I also worked at a veterinary hospital for 2 years, giving me hands on experience caring for dogs/cats with different needs, temperaments, and conditions. I treat every pet like family and understand how to provide both loving attention and practical care! I’m currently working part-time teaching tennis lessons and have availability during the week and most weekends. I go back to college September 8th, but before then I would love to care for as many pets as I can! While I’m not able to board dogs in my home, I can provide care in your home and ensure a safe, loving environment. I can also crate your dog if needed and follow any specific routines or instructions you provide.

“My dog and kitties loved the visit. Everything went perfectly well. I highly recommend hee services and will use her again”

About: Hello, my name is Kelly, and I am a lifelong dog enthusiast, which has made well versed with training as well. I may not be certified, but i have knowledge. I always enjoyed sharing my life with a dog. They have been in my life since I've been 12, and they continue to hold a special place in my heart. In September 2022, I experienced the loss of my beloved 100-pound baby, Ollivander, he is the cow-spotted dog in my pictures. While I deeply miss having a dog around, I am waiting until I have more space before welcoming another furry friend into my home. In the meantime, I am eager to share my love for dogs by helping others care for their beloved pets. Whether it's offering companionship, assistance, or simply spending time with dogs, I find joy in ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve! I look forward to the opportunity to connect with fellow dog parents/lovers and provide support in any way I can! I currently have open availability as I am between jobs, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for dogs. Even once I secure a new role, I plan to continue providing dog care, ensuring that each pup gets the love, attention, and companionship they deserve. When caring for a dog, I prioritize their comfort by allowing them the space to get to know me at their own pace. Ensuring they feel secure and at ease is essential to building a positive bond! Throughout my time with your pup, I will make sure they have everything they need, including fresh water, food, and any necessary care to keep them happy! Your dog's well-being is my top priority, and I am committed to providing them with attentive, compassionate care!

About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for 5 years, giving me hands on experience with everything from daily walks and basic training to understanding behavioral cues and providing consistent care. I’ve also taken some time to research best practices in dog care. Your pup will be treated like family under my care. I currently work from home, which gives me the flexibility to accept pet care jobs that fit smoothly into my daily and weekly schedule. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or some evening cuddles, I can easily adjust my availability to meet your pets needs. This flexible milieu allows me to tug each dog the time and attention they deserve-without rushing or distractions. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I respect your space, follow your instructions closely, and make sure your pet feels safe, calm and well cared for at all times. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet like my own-with patience, love and attention to detail. During our walks, I ensure your dog is safe, secure, and enjoying themselves. I use GPS tracking through the app, keep a close eye on our surroundings, and stick to preferred walking routes when provided. Walks are never rushed-I take time for potty breaks, sniff stops, and a little fun all while staying alert and in control.

About: I am looking to shower some pets with tons of love and attention! I have always grown up with multiple pets. I have a miniature Goldendoodle of my own, her name is Lola who I love more than words can say. I take her on daily walks as well as give her plenty time to run around and have fun! I have reliable transportation therefore driving to and from your location would not be an issue. I am open to caring for multiple pets as well if needed! Also I would be willing to bathe your pets and do light grooming if needed. I currently work full time so my availability is late afternoon and evenings for Monday through Friday during the work week. Open availability on the weekends. I can easily crate your dog if needed and can administer oral medications if required. Always ensure the dogs get plenty of exercise and stimulation.

“Melissa is the best!! My Sophie was an abused pitbull who needed extra attention and love to be able to trust anyone besides her daddy. Melissa worked hard to gain Sophie's trust. Now she is in Sophie's pack and loves Melissa to death. Melissa is reliable and always available. She treats Sophie like she's her own. I will use her for as long as she is available.”
