“I was in a bind. We were coming to Cannon Beach for a wedding and at the last moment, our dogsitter had to bail and we decided to bring our dog with us. He is an anxious dog who doesn't do great with change when I'm not personally there with him, but of course I could not bring him to the wedding. Enter: Gina! Even though it was very last minute (only one day to turnaround), Gina really stepped up. She came and stayed at our hotel room all evening with Digby and walked him along the beach so that I could actually enjoy the wedding. The peace of mind she provided me with her great care and service was invaluable. She immediately seemed to understand his (and my) anxieties and put us both at ease. She was sweet and gentle with my 10 year old pup and I would absolutely ask her to do it again (if I encounter the situation again). From the moment she met him, she knew exactly how to gain his trust and make sure he knew that everything was going to be ok!”

About: I currently have two dogs and experience with all types and breeds. I work from home and take the dogs for walks/runs on Gearhart beach. I am a very attentive dog mom. I have experience with dog medications, wound car, injections, tick removal. I work from home and am very attentive to dogs and ensuring they are well cared for. I regularly take dogs to the beach which is 1/2 a mile away and they run and play. I have two friendly dogs and a large, but unfenced, yard. Dogs have free reign in the house and can use the furniture and beds.

About: I absolutely love animals! I grew up with dogs and cats and miss having them in my daily life. I understand what big deal it is to trust the care of your beloved pets with anyone else and I take it very seriously. Currently, I work from home; so, my schedule is very flexible. I go on frequent walks throughout my day anyway and it would be a joy to have a dog by side! I had the most angelic, nutty dog (in my pic) who sadly passed away last year. I'm not quite ready to take on the huge commitment of pet ownership again just yet. So, in the meantime, I'm enjoying walking dogs at the local shelter. Through walking dogs at the shelter, I've learned a lot about how to approach unfamiliar animals so that we both stay safe and happy. My own dog was a rescue so had some quirks that I learned to work with over our 9 years together. It's so much fun when they get comfortable with you and start to show their goofy and silly sides! I'm comfortable giving pets medicine or special medical care. I have experience with pretty much everything from pills, eye ointments, ear drops, insulin shots, skin and wound care. I have taken care of rambunctious giant puppies who don't understand their size, anxious little ones who need a protector in this giant world, and creaky older friends who need a gentle touch and a little help. I live in a small house just one block from the beach; which is lovely for walking and playing. I have a small yard with a 5 ft. wooden fence. I don't leave dogs unattended in the yard, just to be safe. I have a Subaru, in case they need a ride somewhere. The hatchback is great for wet sandy dogs; but honestly, my car's interior has seen a lot of dogs and shows the wear of their love, so what's a few more! I would be open to housesitting overnight for the right people, as I understand that sometimes pets are more comfortable in their familiar space. Please let me know if you have any questions for me! About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I just moved here from CT and would love to care for your pets! I also have volunteered at dog shelters. I work Monday-Thursday (7am-1pm), but and gone some days. My schedule is easy to work with. I have lots of free time to take care of your pet! Let me pamper your furry friend with love and attention! 🐶 I usually work 2pm to 10pm. So I have time in the mornings then on my days off Monday and Tuesdays. I’m an early bird so as early as needed. I love to go on walks and take the pups with me. Preferably early in the morning so it’s not too hot for the pups. Of course bring them water to keep them hydrated.

About: I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. So I’m no stranger to spending time outside and being around all sorts of pets/animals. I’m a park ranger here in Oregon and I love time spent in the outdoors. I was raised around dogs and cats, having been in a family with multiple at any given time. Training puppies, senior dog care, medication administering, or just walking/feeding and having adventures, it’s all second nature to me. I’m always somewhere on a trail with my pup, Grey. I try to remain active and/or productive on a daily basis. From running errands to daily exercise, I always find ways to keep myself busy. I find my days and plans go by pretty fun and easily with my pup coming with me. It's a lot easier to incorporate pets into plans if thought of carefully and correctly. I always try to make any atmosphere I'm in one of positivity and comfort. I believe in having a welcoming home and disposition. Whether I'm at my home or visiting another, I put the care and needs of the pets I'm around at the top of my priority list.
