House Sitting in Seaside

About: Since retiring from nursing after 25 years, I’ve realized I enjoy dogs much more than people! I love walking and being outdoors so I thought I’d combine the two! I want to spoil your pets with toys, play and yummy treats , so they are too busy to miss you while you are gone! Available for 30 min daily walks (5 am - 5 pm) and sitting in your home while you’re away, more than 1 week may be possible. I am retired and have to teenage daughters (they drive), who go back and forth between their dads and my house (as they please), I also care for my aging mother, but I’m often available on short notice! I love dogs so much because I think if you give a dog a good life you will be giving yourself one too! I’ve had dogs all my life and currently help care for my grand-dogs (4 year old pit mix and 1 year old border collie).

About: Work full time as a pediatric MA but looking to make some extra money with something I enjoy! I am a resident in Seaside Oregon so I am very in tune with nature and it’s beautiful scenery. I’ve grown up in the area so I am familiar with the surroundings and have a fur baby of my own (so I know all the great spots for walks 🤭). I am definitely an animal lover and enjoy any time I set to snuggle/ care for them.I am very efficient as well as very reliable. I am a very detail oriented person so will ensure any special request/ needs that pet or owner may have are met. My overall goal is to make sure that the time your pooch spends with me is a great experience. I work full time on the weekdays but have Saturday- Monday off so will have plenty of weekend time to care for fur babies. And will always make sure to communicate when there is any changes with plenty of time in advance to ensure you can plan accordingly. Since I do have a fur baby of my own at home my overnight/ care in my own home is limited. I live in apartment complex so not always ideal to host pets in my home. I definitely prefer to keep pets in their own homes and just come in to care for them there. This is always easier for pets especially when owners are gone for extensive periods. As stated before I am very reliable and respectful of homes I visit.

“David is amazing! He stayed in our home from 5 days while we we out of town and took care of our active dog, Kai. David went above and beyond, taking Kai on 3-4 walks a day, and we are so grateful. On returning, Kai was so calm and happy. David's communication was excellent. He sent pics and videos every day. He also left our house clean and neat. We would definitely use David again. A real circus. Maya and her partner who also stayed handled it with poise, and everyone was fed and happy when we returned. Thanks for letting us get away for a few days! About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old and have experience with a wide range of breeds—from Golden Retrievers and Great Dane mixes to Australian Shepherds. Over the past few years, I cared for our senior Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who had special needs and required a detailed medication routine. Supporting her through that stage of her life taught me a great deal about patience, attentiveness, and compassionate care. Now that she has passed, I’d love to continue sharing that care with other dogs while their families are away. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, giving them attention, companionship, and the comfort they deserve. I work from home full-time, which means I’m available throughout the day and can provide consistent care and supervision whenever it’s needed. Because I work from home and am self-employed, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be available throughout the day for attentive, consistent care. I’m able to plan my work around the needs of the dogs I’m caring for, which means plenty of time for walks, play, feeding, medication if needed, and lots of companionship. Dogs are never left alone for long periods, and I truly enjoy having them around while I work—it makes the day better for both of us. This flexibility allows me to provide reliable, all-day care and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well loved while their family is away. I have a large, fully fenced backyard that provides plenty of safe space for dogs to run, play, and explore. We’re located in a quiet, semi-rural neighborhood that offers a calm and relaxed environment, away from heavy traffic and city noise. The area also has many nearby trails and walking paths, which are perfect for daily walks, fresh air, and little adventures depending on each dog’s energy level. It’s a great setting for dogs to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and feel comfortable while they’re away from home.

About: Mother to two four-legged babies, friend to all! Hi there! I’m Faith, a lifelong animal lover and proud cat mama to two sweet girls: Muffins, my 6-year-old orange tabby, and Noralise, my playful American Shorthair. I adopted Muffins when she was 11 months old and Nora at just 2 months, and they’ve been my heart ever since. Before becoming a cat mom, I grew up surrounded by dogs, mostly Beagles and Pit Bulls, so I’m comfortable caring for both small and large breeds. My family’s beloved pit bull, SaSa, lived a long and happy life until age 15/16. I helped care for her throughout her life from 6 months old into her adulthood and then her senior years. I would help her up and down stairs, applying topical creams, warming up kibble with broth, and making sure she stayed comfortable every day. Layla, my red-nosed Pit Bull (you’ll spot her in the Christmas sweater in my photos!), passed in July 2024 at around 10 years old. We shared hundreds of walks, hikes, and car rides, and even the occasional pup cup after vet visits. After her emergency hysterectomy in 2019, I gained valuable hands-on experience giving both topical and oral medications, which I’ve also applied when caring for my cats after they have undergone being spayed, aMuffins dental treatments. From administering flea & tick treatments to preparing raw, dry, or canned meals (plus supplements!), I’ve built strong experience in pet health and daily care. I’m confident in dog walking, safe playtime, and of course, an expert in scratches, snuggles, and making pets feel loved. I truly adore my animals, all animals, and treat every pet I meet as if they were my own. You can trust that your furry friend will be cared for with patience, love, and genuine attention while they’re with me. Im a full time Federal Employee. During most work weeks i’m available around 4:30 pm-8pm. Most weekends my schedule is more opened up for mornings and afternoons. Please message me before booking something M-F if services are needed before 4:30pm. I will do my ultimate best to respond timely! While I do not offer services within my own home for clients. I promise to always respect ones home and belongings. As I would want mine respected. Personally I like to check in on my lazy loafs so I do have in home cameras. If you do too, absolutely no problem at all. For reservations where I am dropping in on a dog or a cat, I would sweep up any tracked litter around the litter box as part of cleaning it out- and with towel or napkins available, wipe doggy paws after outside time if preferred. Again, I would want my own space respected so please communicate with me regarding your needs/expectations.

About: I have had the privilege of caring for a wide range of pets other than dogs for quite a few years. Some examples of these animals are, Cats, Reptiles, ferrets, rats, birds, insects, & various types of fish. I enjoy interacting with lots of different animals especially puppies. I have a knack for energetic puppies & providing a gentle and caring demeanor with senior dogs. I am familiar with most caged or tank pet care, but i am also open to learning more and expanding my knowledge about your pets specific care needs. Any clear instructions about your pets specific needs is always appreciated. I have a very flexible schedule and can be available beyond my normal scheduling hours. Just send me a message about your pets needs & I will do my best to make it happen for you. While in a clients home, their pet is my number one priority. I adhere to any instructions that are put in place for me to follow. Nothing is too much for your pet even if they need a little extra care. I am comfortable with putting in extra effort to make your pet more comfortable while I am caring for them.

About: Ive grown up constantly having dogs around me. I’ve taken care of all different kinds of breeds so I’m comfortable with all sizes and most temperaments! My schedule is pretty open. I work later in the day so I’m available 10:00am-1:30pm Thurs-sun and Mon-Wednesday are all available! Having my own dog, I understand how important it is that they are comfortable and taken care of! I have a chihuahua with a very impatient bladder and I’m very blessed to live so close to work so I walk home every two hours to let him outside. We go for walks on the beach, hang out in our fenced back yard, or snuggle on the couch:)

About: There has never been a time in my life when I haven't taken care of one or more dogs, and that's exactly how I want to keep it! Am currently working night shift at Buds RV park in Gearhart and would very much enjoy a dogs accompaniment for long walks in the morning or afternoon. I will always make sure to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs of all sizes to ensure they receive enough physical/fun activity for the day.

About: I currently have two dogs and experience with all types and breeds. I work from home and take the dogs for walks/runs on Gearhart beach. I am a very attentive dog mom. I have experience with dog medications, wound care, injections, tick removal. I am mainly available on Fri, Sat, and Sunday for all day and overnight care. I will occasionally be available during the week as well. I have two friendly dogs and a large, but unfenced, yard. Dogs have free reign in the house and can use the furniture and beds.
