Personalized care for your dog or cat - Seaside

“Marchi took such great care of our dog when we boarded her for one night. She took her on multiple trips to the beach and a forest walk. She also gave her a yak stick for a little treat to nibble on. She kept us constantly updated every few hours with updates and photos. When we picked her up, she gave us a rundown of how Mini did (our dog has a lot of anxiety) plus a poo report, which I really thought was thoughtful. We will be using Marchi when we come to the coast next time!”

Angela H.

“Thank you for all the amazing pictures of Zoey and keeping in contact! She looked very content and happy with your family!”

Stacy C.

“Andrea was an absolutely excellent care provider for my Aussiedoodle for the night. She took him to the beach with her dog to run and play and get good and worn out. She had toys in her apartment for him, and she sent several photos and videos of the action. Chester had a blast - and he is very attached to me. I am very picky about leaving my dog with anyone - and would highly recommend Andrea.”

About: Hi there! My name is Andrea, AJ for short, she /her and my background includes working as a zookeeper and at a wild animal sanctuary. I've worked and have taken care of all types of animals including dogs, cats, birds, small animals, fish, reptiles, amphibians and many more. I also have veterinary experience. I have a rescue pup at home named Nova. She loves to play with other dogs! With my vast experience in animal care coupled with my passion for animals I know I would be a great fit to take care of your pets when you are unable to do so! I love all animals and always give every animal the best care possible. I truly am an animal care professional and would love to meet your furbabies! I currently do seasonal work where I do wildlife surveys for owls.🦉 I bring my dog with me to work and I take her with me pretty much everywhere I go. During the off-season of my job is when I have the most time for petsitting. Since my seasonal job is only half the year, I dedicate my time to helping others with pet care the other half. For active dogs I will take them out on an adventure each day. I am a daily hiker and hitting the trail with canine friends is one my favorite past times. I am very attentive to each individual animal and their needs.

“Soleil was GREAT. She took such good care of my girl. She was very flexible with super fast responses. I really don’t think I could ask for a better pup sitter.”

Spencer K.

“Marchi was wonderful with Juno! She took the time to get to know him and earn his trust after a bad experience with a daycare the day before. She took him on a long walk, which he loves....and sent me pictures and shared throughout the day.... they totally bonded, which isn't always easy with the (mini) husky breed. So happy to have found Marchi!”

Terri H.

“Alicia was super responsive right from the get go! She was also really flexible with me since I was traveling and unsure about drop off time. She has a lovely space for dogs, sent lots of pictures and it looked like Tucker had a fun day when we picked him up. Highly recommend!”

Crystal C.

About: Since retiring from nursing after 25 years, I’ve realized I enjoy dogs much more than people! I love walking and being outdoors so I thought I’d combine the two! I want to spoil your pets with toys, play and yummy treats , so they are too busy to miss you while you are gone! Available for 30 min daily walks (5 am - 5 pm) and sitting in your home while you’re away, more than 1 week may be possible. I am retired and have to teenage daughters (they drive), who go back and forth between their dads and my house (as they please), I also care for my aging mother, but I’m often available on short notice! I love dogs so much because I think if you give a dog a good life you will be giving yourself one too! I’ve had dogs all my life and currently help care for my grand-dogs (4 year old pit mix and 1 year old border collie).

About: Work full time as a pediatric MA but looking to make some extra money with something I enjoy! I am a resident in Seaside Oregon so I am very in tune with nature and it’s beautiful scenery. I’ve grown up in the area so I am familiar with the surroundings and have a fur baby of my own (so I know all the great spots for walks 🤭). I am definitely an animal lover and enjoy any time I set to snuggle/ care for them.I am very efficient as well as very reliable. I am a very detail oriented person so will ensure any special request/ needs that pet or owner may have are met. My overall goal is to make sure that the time your pooch spends with me is a great experience. I work full time on the weekdays but have Saturday- Monday off so will have plenty of weekend time to care for fur babies. And will always make sure to communicate when there is any changes with plenty of time in advance to ensure you can plan accordingly. Since I do have a fur baby of my own at home my overnight/ care in my own home is limited. I live in apartment complex so not always ideal to host pets in my home. I definitely prefer to keep pets in their own homes and just come in to care for them there. This is always easier for pets especially when owners are gone for extensive periods. As stated before I am very reliable and respectful of homes I visit.

“Alicia really came through for me when I was desperately searching for someone to come walk my dog last minute! She was communicative and very nice! Recommend her to anyone!”

Alexandra V.

“Katy has been great with my dog, Scruff. He needed a ton of patience starting out and she worked with him to get him used to a dog walker. He actually got a little grumpy with me one day when I stayed home sick and she didn’t come.”

Amy Y.

“Kerry is amazing! All of my fur babies absolutely love her 😻 I wouldn’t trust anyone else with their care, to the point that I book my vacations around her availability.”

Kelly P.

“Best day ever for Bianca when Marie comes to take her for a walk!”

Linda P.

“Gina was great with my pup sailor!! She was available on a last minute notice which I really appreciated. Sailor looked like he had fun and was very well taken care of! I definitely recommend to anyone!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I love dogs and cats of all kinds, breeds, and sizes. Neighbors, family, friends, and colleagues have trusted me to watch, feed, walk, and play with their furry family. I currently own two cats and have in the past owned small and medium-sized dogs. I have experience caring for senior and special needs fur babies. I am currently available from 10am-6pm Monday-Friday with negotiable availability on weekends. I recently graduated with my Master of Social Work and am looking to make supplemental income while searching for a full time job, however, I am looking to create and sustain lasting pet care relationships. I follow the rules of the person hiring me and ask questions when and if they come up. I appreciate heads up about any behaviors and temperaments of furry companions that I should be aware of.
