About: Since retiring from nursing after 25 years, I’ve realized I enjoy dogs much more than people! I love walking and being outdoors so I thought I’d combine the two! I want to spoil your pets with toys, play and yummy treats , so they are too busy to miss you while you are gone! Available for 30 min daily walks (5 am - 5 pm) and sitting in your home while you’re away, more than 1 week may be possible. I am retired and have to teenage daughters (they drive), who go back and forth between their dads and my house (as they please), I also care for my aging mother, but I’m often available on short notice! I love dogs so much because I think if you give a dog a good life you will be giving yourself one too! I’ve had dogs all my life and currently help care for my grand-dogs (4 year old pit mix and 1 year old border collie).

Some examples of these animals are, Cats, Reptiles, ferrets, rats, birds, insects, & various types of fish. I enjoy interacting with lots of different animals especially puppies. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old and have experience with a wide range of breeds—from Golden Retrievers and Great Dane mixes to Australian Shepherds. Over the past few years, I cared for our senior Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who had special needs and required a detailed medication routine. Supporting her through that stage of her life taught me a great deal about patience, attentiveness, and compassionate care. Now that she has passed, I’d love to continue sharing that care with other dogs while their families are away. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, giving them attention, companionship, and the comfort they deserve. I work from home full-time, which means I’m available throughout the day and can provide consistent care and supervision whenever it’s needed. Because I work from home and am self-employed, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be available throughout the day for attentive, consistent care. I’m able to plan my work around the needs of the dogs I’m caring for, which means plenty of time for walks, play, feeding, medication if needed, and lots of companionship. Dogs are never left alone for long periods, and I truly enjoy having them around while I work—it makes the day better for both of us. This flexibility allows me to provide reliable, all-day care and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well loved while their family is away. I have a large, fully fenced backyard that provides plenty of safe space for dogs to run, play, and explore. We’re located in a quiet, semi-rural neighborhood that offers a calm and relaxed environment, away from heavy traffic and city noise. The area also has many nearby trails and walking paths, which are perfect for daily walks, fresh air, and little adventures depending on each dog’s energy level. It’s a great setting for dogs to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and feel comfortable while they’re away from home.

About: Ive grown up constantly having dogs around me. I’ve taken care of all different kinds of breeds so I’m comfortable with all sizes and most temperaments! My schedule is pretty open. I work later in the day so I’m available 10:00am-1:30pm Thurs-sun and Mon-Wednesday are all available! Having my own dog, I understand how important it is that they are comfortable and taken care of! I have a chihuahua with a very impatient bladder and I’m very blessed to live so close to work so I walk home every two hours to let him outside. We go for walks on the beach, hang out in our fenced back yard, or snuggle on the couch:)

About: I have been a trainer at the local shelter for 3 years. I have worked with many types of dogs and love them all. At the shelter I have worked with fractious dogs and also have experience with dogs that have stranger danger (wary of new people), on leash reactivity (reactive towards other dogs, people and/or bikes etc) and working with dogs on basic obedience. I have also put on workshops for the local shelter through Clatsop Animal Assistance. I did a mentorship in Florida with Dogs Playing for Life working with shelter dogs that experience the above. I also worked with them on basic lose leash walking techniques, working walk (heel walk) and basic obedience and have continued this training to the shelter dogs. I currently have two small dogs and often foster from the shelter. My previous dog I did years of agility with and loved training him! My schedule is fairly open as I am currently studying for NPTE and running dog playgroups and handling dogs at the shelter. Mornings or evenings work every day of the week. I can do 30 minute or 60 minute walks whatever you and your dog decide! I am comfortable going to your home with or without after a proper introduction to your dog.

I’m patient, attentive, and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m also happy to provide photo and text updates for peace of mind. I work full-time but have a very flexible schedule and typically finish work around 3:30 PM. This allows me to visit pets throughout the day and provide consistent care, including walks, feedings, and check-ins. I’m available for overnight stays and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while maintaining their normal routines. I’m happy to coordinate visit times based on your pet’s specific needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I primarily provide care in my client’s home so pets can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and routines. Pets are supervised, secure, and cared for in a calm, clean environment at all times. While I do have a fenced yard available if needed, my main focus is attentive, responsible, and stress-free care in your home.
