Pet Sitting in Cannon Beach

About: Work full time as a pediatric MA but looking to make some extra money with something I enjoy! I am a resident in Seaside Oregon so I am very in tune with nature and it’s beautiful scenery. I’ve grown up in the area so I am familiar with the surroundings and have a fur baby of my own (so I know all the great spots for walks 🤭). I am definitely an animal lover and enjoy any time I set to snuggle/ care for them.I am very efficient as well as very reliable. I am a very detail oriented person so will ensure any special request/ needs that pet or owner may have are met. My overall goal is to make sure that the time your pooch spends with me is a great experience. I work full time on the weekdays but have Saturday- Monday off so will have plenty of weekend time to care for fur babies. And will always make sure to communicate when there is any changes with plenty of time in advance to ensure you can plan accordingly. Since I do have a fur baby of my own at home my overnight/ care in my own home is limited. I live in apartment complex so not always ideal to host pets in my home. I definitely prefer to keep pets in their own homes and just come in to care for them there. This is always easier for pets especially when owners are gone for extensive periods. As stated before I am very reliable and respectful of homes I visit.

She's a real pro with animals, and helped us exactly during the time slot we needed to get our dog out on the beach for a long romp and great time. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old and have experience with a wide range of breeds—from Golden Retrievers and Great Dane mixes to Australian Shepherds. Over the past few years, I cared for our senior Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who had special needs and required a detailed medication routine. Supporting her through that stage of her life taught me a great deal about patience, attentiveness, and compassionate care. Now that she has passed, I’d love to continue sharing that care with other dogs while their families are away. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, giving them attention, companionship, and the comfort they deserve. I work from home full-time, which means I’m available throughout the day and can provide consistent care and supervision whenever it’s needed. Because I work from home and am self-employed, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be available throughout the day for attentive, consistent care. I’m able to plan my work around the needs of the dogs I’m caring for, which means plenty of time for walks, play, feeding, medication if needed, and lots of companionship. Dogs are never left alone for long periods, and I truly enjoy having them around while I work—it makes the day better for both of us. This flexibility allows me to provide reliable, all-day care and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well loved while their family is away. I have a large, fully fenced backyard that provides plenty of safe space for dogs to run, play, and explore. We’re located in a quiet, semi-rural neighborhood that offers a calm and relaxed environment, away from heavy traffic and city noise. The area also has many nearby trails and walking paths, which are perfect for daily walks, fresh air, and little adventures depending on each dog’s energy level. It’s a great setting for dogs to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and feel comfortable while they’re away from home.

About: I have been a trainer at the local shelter for 3 years. I have worked with many types of dogs and love them all. At the shelter I have worked with fractious dogs and also have experience with dogs that have stranger danger (wary of new people), on leash reactivity (reactive towards other dogs, people and/or bikes etc) and working with dogs on basic obedience. I have also put on workshops for the local shelter through Clatsop Animal Assistance. I did a mentorship in Florida with Dogs Playing for Life working with shelter dogs that experience the above. I also worked with them on basic lose leash walking techniques, working walk (heel walk) and basic obedience and have continued this training to the shelter dogs. I currently have two small dogs and often foster from the shelter. My previous dog I did years of agility with and loved training him! My schedule is fairly open as I am currently studying for NPTE and running dog playgroups and handling dogs at the shelter. Mornings or evenings work every day of the week. I can do 30 minute or 60 minute walks whatever you and your dog decide! I am comfortable going to your home with or without after a proper introduction to your dog.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats all of my life. I am a pet person. People ask to care for my dogs in the past as they are so well trained! I have the patience and knowledge to help you care for you pets. I mostly work nights and am looking to fill my days getting outside while earning a supplemental income. About: Ive grown up constantly having dogs around me. I’ve taken care of all different kinds of breeds so I’m comfortable with all sizes and most temperaments! My schedule is pretty open. I work later in the day so I’m available 10:00am-1:30pm Thurs-sun and Mon-Wednesday are all available! Having my own dog, I understand how important it is that they are comfortable and taken care of! I have a chihuahua with a very impatient bladder and I’m very blessed to live so close to work so I walk home every two hours to let him outside. We go for walks on the beach, hang out in our fenced back yard, or snuggle on the couch:)

About: I’ve owned animals since I was 10 and have cared for friends animals while they have been on travel. My animals are my family and are treated as such. I recently retired early and have time to spend at home with animals. Lots of land for exercise and all pets stay inside with me. I live on six acres with two dogs, two mini donkeys, a goat and a horse. The entire property is fenced with a barn and shelter for large animals.
