1. Chantelle M.
“Hi my name is Scott. I've known Chantelle for 4+ years. She loves pets, is reliable, follows instructions, a great communicator and more. She also pet sits for me when I go out town and is also conscientious on securing my home after each visit. I highly recommend her for your pet care needs.”
2. Courtney B.
“Courtney is a great sitter. She put up with my cancelling and rescheduling my trips and was very open about availability. She followed my instructions and gave my Katie some love when she approached her but let her hide when she felt the need. I look forward to having her care for Katie again when I leave for a longer trip.”
3. Stephanie S.
About: Hi, My name is Steph. I have been a veterinary technician for 10 years, I have had many years of experience in high volume critical pet care. I am also trained with exotic care from reptiles and amphibians, pocket pets, and avians; let me know if there’s a small one at home that needs attention as well. My passion is caring for critters of all sizes, and I believe in doing right by humans and their companions. I am capable of walking, feeding, bathing, and medicating any pet. I spend my free time with my 6yr old son; who also shares the same passion for animals. Please contact me to cuddle and play with your fur babies while you’re away! I can do drop-ins and walks all around the Washington Peninsula. With being a full time parent I need at least a full days notice before any cancellations due to working around child care. So please notify asap. Each household is different, and each owner has their own way of caring for the pet. I will care for your kiddos as if they were my own. We can schedule meet and greets to make sure there is complete communication and understanding of your pets’ needs. When it comes to pet’s with high energy it’s important to stimulate the mentally and physically with play and walks. With being in the veterinary field as a tech you never know what kind of animal or quirky personality is going to walk through the door. No matter how big or small; I pride myself on practicing “less is more” and “going slow” with each kiddo. When going on walks I believe it’s important to be vigilant and aware of your surroundings. Paying attention to the dog’s behavior is a must, you never know what a dog may sense and be alerting you to. Each corner is new and and you never know what could be lurking. I was raised around all kinds of animals from livestock, poultry, dogs and cats, reptiles/amphibians, as well as avians. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 kittens and a small parrot. While I’m gone my dogs are kenneled to keep them out of trouble, and we walk at least 3-4 times per week. I hope to build your confidence with me while I care for your most precious and loved furry friends!
4. Mitch Y.
“Mitch took fantastic care of our pups so we could go out of town for the day. We highly recommend him to anyone that is in need of someone to drop in on their four legged family members. We will definitely have him do it again.”
5. Mathieu T.
About: I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. So I’m no stranger to spending time outside and being around all sorts of pets/animals. I’m a park ranger here in Oregon and I love time spent in the outdoors. I was raised around dogs and cats, having been in a family with multiple at any given time. Training puppies, senior dog care, medication administering, or just walking/feeding and having adventures, it’s all second nature to me. I’m always somewhere on a trail with my pup, Grey. I try to remain active and/or productive on a daily basis. From running errands to daily exercise, I always find ways to keep myself busy. I find my days and plans go by pretty fun and easily with my pup coming with me. It's a lot easier to incorporate pets into plans if thought of carefully and correctly. I always try to make any atmosphere I'm in one of positivity and comfort. I believe in having a welcoming home and disposition. Whether I'm at my home or visiting another, I put the care and needs of the pets I'm around at the top of my priority list.
6. Mandy C.
“I’m happy to share a few words about my amazing friend, [Friend’s Name]. She’s been taking care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember, and her love for animals really shines through in everything she does. Mandy is incredibly responsible and goes out of her way to ensure every pet feels safe and loved. Whether giving belly rubs to a shy kitty or taking an energetic pup for a long walk, she knows how to connect with them. She understands their needs and is always attentive, whether feeding, grooming, or providing quality cuddle time. What I admire most about her is her genuine passion for animals. She treats every pet like family. You can trust her completely; she’s reliable and always puts the pets’ well-being first. I can't recommend Mandy enough if you’re looking for someone to care for your furry friends. They’ll be in the best hands!”
7. Jordyn L.
“Jordyn did a great job keeping our cats fed, happy, & safe while we were gone :) we loved the updates and care she showed for each of our babies. Thank you so much Jordyn!!”
8. Sue H.
“Sue was always on time and sent photos from each visit. Or boy, Mr. Myles is a home body, he is most comfortable in his own home. Sue walked Myles on each visit, just what he needed.”
9. Marie A.
“Marie is the best! She took care of our young dog, Eddie, over Christmas week, and he got to play with other dog buddies, run around outside, and cozy up with his friends. Marie is an expert with dogs, and runs a local rescue shelter for Australian Cattle Dogs. We adopted Eddie from her shelter, so we felt very comfortable leaving him under her care, knowing that she can take care of dogs and knows the ins and outs of making them feel at home.”

11. Jennifer E.
“Jennifer went above and beyond with my three cats for my three day trip. Facetime meet and great went great, she was flexible, she asked questions when needed, and kept me updated with my pets’ the entire time with photos. Would recommend to anyone needing an overnight or drop in pet sitter.”
12. Gabrielle R.
“We have a senior dog, and he is a Belgian Malinois. If you are familiar with the breed, they are extremely intelligent, very empathetic, and very high energy dog. It is always a challenge to find someone who appreciates Myles....quirks??? Gabrielle was wonderful with him and wouldn't hesitate to leave Myles, our child, with Gabrielle again. She allowed me peace of mind knowing he was in his own environment and she sent PICS!!!!!”
13. Megan B.
“Megan was terrific! I was worried about leaving my bulldog and elderly cat for 10 days but Megan took such great care of them they didn't seem to miss me (which is a good thing). She checked on them twice per day, spending ample time to ensure all their needs were met, including daily grooming of my bulldog to keep his wrinkles healthy and giving my cat shots twice per week. Each day, she sent me updates with pictures which was great, and I returned home to happy, healthy pets. She even emptied the trash before my return, which was an unexpected bonus. Thanks, Megan! I will definitely use Megan again in the future.”

15. David & Walter M.
About: Hello, Thank you for reading my profile. I have had pets my whole life and I have cared for other peoples pets often. I work in hospitality and hours are greatly reduced in the Fall, very much in the Winter, and the Spring. So since I love animals and I’m a great pet-sitter and I have free time, I’d love to be considered for your next pet-sitting needs. Because we have a new dog ourselves, I’m not offering At-My-Place Boarding services at this time. But I am available to pet/house-sit at your place, or just do drop-in visits for dog-walks/feeding. I am comfortable with all dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and health conditions. We have owned / fostered an English Springer, Pitbull, Plott Hound, Yellow Lab, French Bulldog, and cats, many of which were rescued dogs from the shelter, who came with behavioral challenges. We, my partner & I, were successful correcting or lessening some of those behaviors. I therefore am also comfortable with challenging pets. Your pet’s comfort and safety would be my utmost concern. I am very aware of my surroundings when I am walking a dog. If your dog is not to interact with other dogs while you are away, I am great with navigating an outing while avoiding other dogs. I will make sure your pet has regular bathroom breaks, play-time, and snuggle time. We have lived in Clatsop County since 1998. I have plenty of personal, professional, and pet-sitting references. I also trained at the Clatsop Animal Shelter to be a dog-walker, for which I did for a year before the pandemic. Then during the pandemic I transitioned to volunteering at the County Health Dept. In the winter/spring I only work 3 shifts/week at my job, about 6 hour shifts, so I have plenty of availability for morning, afternoon, evening dog-walks, and stay-overs. In the summer I work closer to 40 hours/week, but still can do stay-overs and walks. If need be, my partner, Walter, would be available to also partake in dog-walks on days I’m working. He has also passed Rover's background check. In addition if I want to free up my schedule even more for your pet-sitting needs, I can always switch shifts or give away some shifts to co-workers at my job as we are a big team who always helps each other out with shift coverage. I work at a high end resort. I have always had on-going steady employment in the hospitality industry, primarily upscale restaurants or hotels. We have a fenced yard. Our pet is never alone for more than 4 hours; my partner and I arrange our schedules to accommodate that. I would ensure your pet has regular bathroom breaks, walks and regular feeding and any medications. I will keep your pet leashed on walks and safe.
16. Twila P.
“I have a German Shepherd who can be a handful and Twila is one of the few people I let watch him. She is incredibly responsible, dependable and I would recommend her without hesitation.”
17. Andrea S.
About: Hi there! My name is Andrea, AJ for short, and my background includes working as a zookeeper and at a wild animal sanctuary. I've worked and have taken care of all types of animals including dogs, cats, birds, small animals, fish, reptiles, amphibians and many more. I also have veterinary experience. I have a rescue pup at home named Nova. She loves to play with other dogs! With my vast experience in animal care coupled with my passion for animals I know I would be a great fit to take care of your pets when you are unable to do so! I love all animals and always give every animal the best care possible. I truly am an animal care professional and would love to meet your furbabies! I currently do seasonal work where I do wildlife surveys for owls.🦉 I bring my dog with me to work and I take her with me pretty much everywhere I go. During the off-season of my job is when I have the most time for petsitting. Since my seasonal job is only half the year, I dedicate my time to helping others with pet care the other half. For active dogs I will take them out on an adventure each day. I am a daily hiker and hitting the trail with canine friends is one my favorite past times. I am very attentive to each individual animal and their needs.
