About: What sets me apart is the level of love, patience, and personalized care I give every pet. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. I’m experienced with puppies who need consistency, potty breaks, playtime, and basic routine reinforcement, as well as senior pets who may need a gentler pace, extra patience, medication support, or additional comfort. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents always know their furry family members are happy and well cared for. I’m able to help out on Monday-Friday or Saturdays and Sundays. Let me know what fits your needs and I will be more then happy to accommodate! I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Especially in their own home. I do not accept boarding as my currently home is renting.

About: I've been a pet caretaker since I was 12. Dogs quickly connect with me for play, walking and companionship- just like you were there too. I have a very flexible schedule with my JMU classes this semester so I have lots of available time to spend with your fur baby. I am currently home for summer! About: Hi there:) You will never have to wonder if your fur baby is being taken care of with me around! I’ve been around/taking care of animals my whole life! I currently have 3 dogs, a yorkie (3), a black lab (11)and a black lab german shepherd mix(8) and getting a GSP puppy in a few weeks! Also have a bunny, sheep and goat. Can you tell i’m an animal lover? lol. I work 8am-2pm at lake monichello. After work I would be able to come straight to your home and take care of your fur babies! If I am doing an overnight stay, in the AM before work I would walk your animal (feed also if requested ) then in the PM after work stay at the home most of the evening. would leave maybe to grab dinner. Playtime ,Walking, feeding, I can bathe also take to appointments if requested! Care for animals with love always! Approach your animal slowly and calm to show them i’m not a threat but a friend☺️ Lots of lovings also of course!

“BJ was amazing with our dogs! She sent loads of photos and stayed in constant communication. She made a clear effort to spend time with each dog, so that both received plenty of attention and affection. When our dogs got into a tussle and one ended up with a minor injury, she drove our pup to our vet and then waited past when she was supposed to be done so she could pick her up and get her situated back at home. BJ obviously loves and cares for animals deeply!”

About: I will walk, bathe, and feed your precious loves. I will make sure your babies are loved and cared for. If you don’t like something for your animals, I won’t do it. Willing to negotiate if you have multiple dogs , or cats if you have cats. I will make sure your lovely animals are happy and well taken care of while under my supervision and care. I don’t allow animals on my bed but they are allowed on my futon, if you may have special ways of taking care of them I will make sure they are taken care of the way you want them to be! I love animals and want them happy! Willing to travel and stay at your home with your animals if that’s what you’re more comfortable with! I’m currently not working, so my time and attention is 100% on your loved animals. I will make sure your baby is loved and taken care of. I have an unfenced yard but i do have a leash & a dog cable so i can have your dog outside getting some sun and enjoying the weather. I have 1 dog that can keep your dog company!

About: I have experience caring for all age ranges of cats and dogs. I have 3 years of animal welfare experience previously working in a shelter and i have always naturally been a huge animals lover. I have the ability to read animals body language really well. I connect quickly with every animal I meet! I have experience with different kinds of energy levels as well. “Makalah is our first pet sitter from Rover. We hired her for house sitting so that she could care for our dog and cat in the comfort of their own home. We have had friends and family take care of the pets, but we’ve never had someone come spend the night. Makalah did an amazing job with both our pets. She bonded instantly with our cat and as she said, He’s my bestie! Our dog is 13 years old and requires more care, as he takes seizure medication three times a day. Makalah took on this responsibility and she made sure she let me know when she gave him his meds. Makalah’s communication with me throughout the day and night was great. She also sent pictures of both pets along with an update on how things were going. I am so glad I decided to take a chance with Rover and with Makalah. We will definitely be calling in her to care for our pets again.”
