About: Growing up I’ve had pitbulls, chihuahuas, hedgehogs , hamsters, bunnies, lizards and snakes growing up. Love having animals around, just not ready for any full time of our own, Thought this was a great step! I have 3 kids in school, I hike 4-6 times a week, I love bringing dogs with me so ask about my daily pricing but I usually charge an hour fee ( with a small pickup fee to cover gas) and we are gone for 1.5-6 hours of exercise depending on the day. Sometimes we are with other furry friends or people friends, I can work with off leash or on leash and we usually focus on free time and working on the dogs recall, sit and manners with other explorers. On hot days we like to wander down to the dog beach where we have been working on swimming skills I have a backyard, and some acreage beside us. Love hikes and going to the river. Always ready for any adventure your dog is ready for even if it means staying home and getting some rest.

I grew up caring for neighborhood pups, giving them daily walks and love which fueled my admiration for them. I love spending time with animals because of how much we learn from each other. I spent summers working on a farm where I learned to work with all animals - great and small. From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. I find that not just do I love spending time with animals but that I grow as a person working with them. I am also available for pet sitting of animals other then dogs, as well. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without them. I currently share custody of my golden retriever Flynn, having dogs has taught me so much about patience, consistency, and how important it is to give dogs both structure and love. I also had the incredibly meaningful experience of fostering a rescue dog through Barney’s Furry Friends. She was found abandoned and needed patience, structure, and a lot of love to feel safe again. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
