About: Hi! I’m Clara! 🐾 I’ve been caring for animals for over 5 years, and loving them for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm surrounded by cats and dogs, and caring for them was always one of my favorite parts of the day. I’ve even had the unique experience of helping rescue an owl! I have a Bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and spent the past 3 years working at a local elementary school, where I was trusted with the care and well-being of children every day. That experience has taught me to be patient, attentive, responsible, and, most importantly, to meet each individual’s needs. I’ve also been trusted by family, friends, and Rover families to care for their pets in all kinds of situations—from overnight stays and walks to drop-in visits, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. I am available both weekends and weekdays, I'm a morning person as well, so I don't mind an early morning with a pet. I don't force connections, and I will always make sure that they know I am a safe human to be around. Routines and schedules are important, as well as being able to read an animals cues and understand what they need in that moment. I can provide that for your pet.

About: I have recently moved from Nashville to Bellingham area. I have fostered over 60 dogs with Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue. I have dealt with multiple breeds as well as puppies and especially seniors with medical issues. I currently have a foster pug so I can house sit if I can bring her along or drop in. Your pups can also stay at my house. I work remotely so I can house sit, pet sit at anytime as long as I'm not going to be out of town or already booked. I will follow closely the directions given by the client. I have had dogs and I have competed internationally in horse competitions. I understand how people are particular about their pets.

About: Update: Based in Bellingham Washington, currently looking to board/housesit for aniamals in Bellingham. I am a full time dog trainer and animal caretaker. I am also available for hire for canine training. I am in the process of receiving my national professional degree for Large and Small Animal Accupressure. I am also available for hire on the northern coast of Oregon, available for animal sitting in-home. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for neighborhood pups, giving them daily walks and love which fueled my admiration for them. I love spending time with animals because of how much we learn from each other. I spent summers working on a farm where I learned to work with all animals - great and small. From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. I find that not just do I love spending time with animals but that I grow as a person working with them. I am also available for pet sitting of animals other then dogs, as well. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, and I’ve walked a lot of my neighbors dogs for money. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats overnight, and I’ve helped train my neighbors dogs. I work part time and have a workout schedule so I take them out early in the morning, late in the morning, afternoon, evening, and before bed. Longer walks are always in the morning and at night and shorter ones are more frequent during the day. I provide a safe and loving environment for every pet in my care. I have a friendly dog who enjoys meeting new friends, and pets are always supervised and treated like family. While I don’t have a yard, I make sure dogs get plenty of walks, exercise and attention. For house sitting and drop in visits, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and lots of affection. I live with my grandma in a calm, pet friendly home and am committed to keeping your pets happy, comfortable, and safe while you’re away.
