About: I've been an animal person my whole life; from originally wanting to be a vet (decided to pivot due to the sadness that probably comes from being a vet) to caring for pets of my own. I've always felt I've been able to understand animals better than most people. I think it stems from my ability to innately understand their non-verbal communication. Hence, the Dolittle reference. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around the pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and time to play or relax depending on their personality. I’m happy to follow any specific routines you have at home so your pet feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner. About: Hi! My goal is to treat your pets as my own for however long you are gone. I like taking goofy pictures, and giving lots of good snuggles to your pets. I’m currently a student at WWU, home on breaks. I won’t leave pets alone for more than 3-4 hours often and if I did have to I’d have someone else come check on the pets. When pets are staying with me, they get access to our fenced in back yard but are always supervised when outside. They also get to sleep in my bed if they choose or their own bed if more comfortable that way. They are allowed on couch for more snuggles. And lots of treats.

Simba is normally very aloof and leery of strangers but even when Bridgette came over to meet us before my trip he was quite comfortable with her. During the stay, from the photos and notes Bridgette sent me, I could see that he warmed up to Bridgette immediately.
