About: I've been an animal person my whole life; from originally wanting to be a vet (decided to pivot due to the sadness that probably comes from being a vet) to caring for pets of my own. I've always felt I've been able to understand animals better than most people. I think it stems from my ability to innately understand their non-verbal communication. Hence, the Dolittle reference. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around the pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and time to play or relax depending on their personality. I’m happy to follow any specific routines you have at home so your pet feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level, giving them plenty of affection when they want it and space when they need it.

About: Hi! I'm Mary Beth! I work for NOAA currently as a scientist. I'm looking for a productive way to harness my love of pets. My very first job was dog walking while on my paper route. I have walked, watched, and trained dogs for as long as I can remember. The neighborhood I grew up in knew me as the go to girl for pet sitting while on vacation. I am ready and willing to be of service to you and your furry family. As a fish biologist I love animals of all shapes and sizes. About: I have experience with all kinds of dogs: big, small, shy or rambunctious! I currently work at a dog boarding facility, and also volunteer at the humane society. I also have a family dog who is now a senior I currently am working morning shifts but am available most days after 2pm! I am also completely free on thursdays and Fridays. I am not opposed to early or late night walks or potty breaks I live an apartment and would not be able to board another pet in my home, but would be more than happy to watch your pet in theirs!

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and my friends and families. I have walked others energetic puppies and my own. I love trying to teach them new tricks and reward good behavior. I can give your pets their medicine or help with special instructions for their care. I have no problem cleaning up after them when they go to the bathroom. I am able to work any hours or days. There are a few times that I might need to go do somethings between care like errands. I have a fenced yard so I get to go outside with my dogs and play with them and I hope to do that with other dogs. I am very good with following directions for others animals.

About: I grew up with dogs and have had at least one of my own for the last 20 years. They truly are the best friends! We have a sweet 3-year old rescue poodle mix, Mimi, who does really well with other dogs. We'd love to have your dog or cat stay with us and join in our walks and hikes and cuddles! I have had a reactive/leash reactive dog and as much as I know they can be the sweetest pups when on their own, I can't take on these dogs anymore. It creates too much anxiety for me. I live on a street where there is a constant flow of neighbor dogs both on and off leash and the trails are packed with dogs these days so it's a guarantee we will meet other dogs while we are out and about. I work from home and love to get outside and explore the beautiful trails around Bellingham. When not out sniffing the trails me and your pet will be snuggled up relaxing together. There is a fence area for visiting pets to relieve themselves (it includes about 10 stairs). I love to hike and walk and will make sure your pet gets all the movement they need. I love to snuggle too so when not out and about you can rest assured that your pet is getting lots of love and cuddles.
