“Shawn, Missy, and the girls did an OUTSTANDING job of caring for our Millie while we were away for 10 days!!! They sent daily updates with photos and it was very apparent that they loved her the way we do! Millie has very special needs seems how she cannot use her back legs on her own and their entire family was willing, ready and helped her as best as they possibly could! If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!”

“We had an amazing first time experience with these sitters watching our two French bulldogs. From the start, communication was excellent, they kept us updated with frequent messages and lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dogs were very well cared for and happy. Our French bulldogs are not quite a year old yet, so they still have some of the challenges that come with being puppies, but the sitters were wonderful with them. They seemed completely comfortable and relaxed, and it was obvious they were treated like part of the family. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for caring, trustworthy, and communicative sitters. We have already rebooked with them to ensure that they have room to watch them again!”

“This was my first time using Rover and the first time leaving my pup with someone who wasn’t family for a whole week and Stacy was amazing! I received constant updates and pictures with how she was doing and what she was up to which definitely put this anxious dog momma’s heart at easy. I will absolutely be booking with her again, and you should too!”

“Sarah is absolutely wonderful. She and her family invited my pup into their home and treated him like he was one of their own. She kept me up to date on how he was doing, sent lots of pictures, spoiled him with treats, and allowed him to get comfortable in her home. I’ll absolutely have Sarah watch my pup again when I need a sitter.”

“We have used Emily and her lovely family to care for our senior dog on 2 different occasions and we will not hesitate to reach out again if needed. They have been so flexible and kind both times. I appreciate the great and timely communication. It can be a little nerve wracking leaving an older dog (with some issues) but Emily made us feel very comfortable! 10/10 recommend!”

“Derek was awesome with Percy. He sent absolutely amazing photos of their walks & time together and Percy seemed really happy & healthy when we picked him up. Would absolutely book again!”

About: I volunteer at the humane society walking dogs every Saturday morning and have for years. I've handled many dogs of varying ages and needs. I currently have two of my own. I'm a long-time dog owner and my world revolves around them. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays. I walk my own dogs at least once daily. I try to include them in weekend activities. One of my dogs requires daily medication. I leave them alone for minimal time each day. They go to doggie daycare on days I work in the office. I also enjoy taking my dogs to the dog park for a change of scenery. I have a fully enclosed fenced yard, 6ft tall. I control and supervise outdoor yard time. I keep the screen doors locked. I walk my dogs with a running leash that locks, and they are never off-leash. While I'm not formally "certified" in pet CPR or first-aid, I have read books on the subject to be prepared for emergencies involving my dogs. I'm also familiar with the after-hours emergency veterinary services in Lincoln.
“Kobe enjoyed his time with Jamie and her family! He got a nice sized glider and a backyard to run around in. A family of 4 to love and care for him the whole time! They took him on plenty of walks. Jamie sent me photos and videos throughout the day showing how much fun kobe was having. I would use Jamie again and highly recommend!”

“My dog Juno is new to us and so nervous about being left. Infinity took extra time to help her eat when she was anxious and to let her play with other pups to help ease her mind. Thanks so much!”

About: We love all animals and treat them as family. There is care for the animal in the home 24/7. Patient with all types of animals. Work flexibility. I am working full time but my partner works from home. Pets will have company 24/7 with bathroom breaks as needed. If the owner and dog are comfortable with it car rides for fun and to the dog park are always an option. We are able to take an animal in at any time. We will both be home on weekends. Plenty of play time. I have a fenced yard. I have cats in the home but gates to keep them easily separated. I have water fountains for easy access to water. I have experience with giving medication and taking care of animals with bathroom issues.
“We were not disappointed. Bethany and her family gave our husky great care while we were away. We got frequent updates and pictures. It gave us a lot of comfort knowing our dog was in good hands while we were traveling. My 4 year old loved seeing the pictures of what Koda was doing that day. Would book again!!!”

About: My wife and I have both grown-up with dogs in our homes our whole lives and have passed our love of dogs onto our early elementary aged son as well. We have a 4-year old, cream colored labradoodle named Curious George Banks, aka George. We also have a 1-year old, red & white mini bernedoodle named Hank. I am home full-time and your dog will get lots of playtime, love, care, and attention. Your dog will be able to be inside our home or go outside into our fenced in backyard as much as he/she wants. Our own dogs just ring the bells on the backdoor anytime they want to go out, so it is pretty much a revolving door. :o) We have experience providing dogs with oral medication if needed and will follow any instructions you provide us for the care of your fur-baby. We are excited to meet your dog, make them feel like family, and give them a fun, loving place to stay, in a safe and quiet neighborhood and home while you are gone. Drop off/pick up times are 7:00 a.m.-9:00 pm. If you need to drop off earlier than 7:00 a.m. please plan to bring your dog the night before. Pet care is a regular part of our daily routine already since we have our own dogs. I am home during the day and my wife is an elementary teacher. We can provide multiple feeding times a day, walks, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, lots of play and companionship. We would be able to have dogs in our home for overnights, which can fall on any day, Monday thru Sunday. We are not able to go to your home or do overnights in your home though. We live in a ranch style home, in a quiet neighborhood. We have a backyard that is completely secured by a 6 foot tall fence. There are three steps up to our front porch and there is one step going into the backyard. We spend most of our time on our main floor, so if stairs are an issue for your dog they can mostly be avoided except for the step in and out to the backyard. Our neighborhood is a safe and friendly place for my wife to take your dog on walks. Our son, who is in early elementary school, loves dogs and would enjoy playing with your dog(s), giving them belly rubs, along with lots of love and affection. We also have two dogs, a labradoodle and a mini bernedoodle who are a friend to all dogs and are use to socializing with dogs of all ages and sizes from a tiny 5 lb chihuahua mix to a 100 lb Bernese Mountain Dog. In our home, pets are treated like family. They're welcome on the couch and bed, and anywhere they feel most comfortable. Your dog will receive plenty of attention, affection, and personalized care every step of the way. We want to meet your dog where they are at and provided them with a place where they feel safe and loved. We are gentle with animals and will follow precisely whatever instructions you give us for care.
“Jenny was awesome! She and her family are very kind and her house is clean. She was sure to keep me updated on how my Meatball's day was going. She even took him to run around at the dog park. Pictures included!! Meatball clearly loved it there. He had so much fun he slept as soon as we got home.”

“I’m always nervous about leaving my dog but I quickly felt comfortable and Danae sent photos every day of my little guy enjoying himself. It went well and I’m a return customer, which speaks volumes.”

“Our dog was very happy when we picked him up from Thomas! I appreciated that he was willing to do a meet and greet and he shared exercises that he does with dogs to help any nervousness. Our dog is very content and was well cared for today.”

“Nathan is fantastic! He sent pictures and videos throughout and my pup seemed to have a blast! He went to a dog bar, played with neighborhood kids and even helped with yard work.”

“I was out of town and had an emergency with my little dog Zoey, Staci not only helped me out lsst minute, but picked Zoey up for me and took wonderful care of her for a week until U came back into town. Staci sent me pictures and updates, reassuring me Zoey was ok and well taken care of. I wouldnt hesistate to book with Staci again, she was a lifesaver and a FANTASTIC caregiver to my sensitive, elderly dog. I cant thank her enough!”

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for dogs from a new puppy all the way to senior pets. Your pup will get plenty of play time and be loved as if it is our own. I currently work full time, but nearby. I am home for lunch each day to allow your pup out for bathroom breaks, play, or possibly a short walk. Fridays and the weekend we are home the majority of the time. I can provide both long and short walks as long as cuddles and play time. I have a fenced in yard and one friendly pup of my own. Our pup is neutered so we can accept any dog. We do have young children so prefer that your pup is familiar with kids. If food aggressive, please let us know so we can accommodate that appropriately. We prefer to crate during the time we are out of the house, but if your dog is not accustomed to that, we can make other arrangements.
“Ashley and Kyle watched our miniature poodle in their apartment overnight and we couldn’t be more pleased. He’s an energetic dog, but they kept him busy. They had toys for him to play with, took him on walks, and he loved playing with their dog. They also sent us several pics to let us know how he was doing. They even provided a small bag of dog treats to take home and wrote a very nice, thoughtful thank you card which they put in the bag with our dog’s stuff. We would be delighted for them to watch our pup again, and we highly recommend them to anyone else looking for someone to watch their dog.”

We continue to use Emily and her lovely family to care for our dog! It is not easy to leave our 17 y/o dog behind, but she has gotten too old to travel. Emily (and family) take such great care of her. I have already recommended her to friends and will continue to use her if needed!

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
