About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for dogs from a new puppy all the way to senior pets. Your pup will get plenty of play time and be loved as if it is our own. I currently work full time, but nearby. I am home for lunch each day to allow your pup out for bathroom breaks, play, or possibly a short walk. Fridays and the weekend we are home the majority of the time. I can provide both long and short walks as long as cuddles and play time. I have a fenced in yard and one friendly pup of my own. Our pup is neutered so we can accept any dog. We do have young children so prefer that your pup is familiar with kids. If food aggressive, please let us know so we can accommodate that appropriately. We prefer to crate during the time we are out of the house, but if your dog is not accustomed to that, we can make other arrangements.
“Amanda was a lifesaver and amazing human from start to finish! We needed to board 2 dogs for 5 days and she said no problem. The night before our trip, our youngest dog was sprayed by a skunk! Despite 2 baths and our best efforts, the pupper still stunk and Amanda graciously accepted our booking!! We are beyond grateful to her for putting up with our stinker for 5 days. “It was not the first time we leave our setter overnight with a dog sitter, but it was one of the most pleasant ones. Emily communicates exceptionally well either on details of the visit or updates on your dog stay. On any inquiry she replies almost immediately. She is very well organized, very clear with her expectations, attentive to dog’s (owners’ ) preferences and observant of dogs she watches . Our dog was very happy with his 3 days stay in Emily’s house. He spent most of the time playing, but he was not agitated, overexcited or restless when we picked him up. We had some concerns about our very joyful and playful dog being around 3 years old and treating her as a playmate, but both of them minded their own business. About: I’ve been around and cared for animals since I was 6. I spent the last summer working at the Henry Doorly Zoo and I’m studying to be a veterinarian. About: I have had dogs since I was a child. Anything from Dachshunds to Great Danes. I have been through formal training with a good amount of my dogs. I am the pack leader. I love cuddles and often all dogs can be found sitting close to me. I would love a rescue someday. I work from home and am able to take the dogs out often throughout the day. Our dogs sleep with me on their mats in my bedroom. I can feed and water them as much as needed. I watch them often, listen for que’s and or energy change. I am the pack leader, so they know Mama is in charge. I make sure water is full at all times, feed them as needed, give lots of loves and other care such as baths, cleaning ears, etc.
