About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was able to walk. I have been dog sitting for family and friends for about 10 years now, and have a career as an animal Behaviorist at an animal shelter. I have a love for all animals, excluding the creepy crawlies I currently work full time in omaha, but can let pets out Sunday-Thursday at 7am and could let them back out at 6pm and stay the night. My Fridays and Saturdays are free and can hang out with them as much as possible. I currently have in my home a 7 year old diabetic husky who has to have is meds at exact times and exact dosages. I also have a wolf hybrid with tons of energy and needs constant enrichment and stimulation.

If they are at my house, they are in a fenced backyard and monitored while my dogs play with your dog. I provide plenty of water to prevent dehydration and a nap break to make sure they rest. I personally had many dogs growing up, and my sweet Rikki girl passed away last year. So, I’m looking to help some other folks take care of their pups. I am an outdoor enthusiast- I love to hike, backpack on tough trails, bike, run races, swim, etc. I’m interested in boarding at our home, or pop-in visits. It would be no problem for me to walk your animals or take them to potty outside in any weather condition. My schedule at work is 12-hour shifts, and changes from week to week. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
