“It was my first time being without my puppy Ella and they took such good care of her! Lots of pictures and updates which I loved. They are a sweet sweet family with a nice yard and gave her lots of attention! I would recommend them to anyone!”

“Toby appeared to have a great time with you and his new friends. Thank you for the pictures and updates during his stay there. He came home happy and tired out from playing. We would highly recommend you to others looking for a safe home away from home for their fur babies. Thank you!”

“My dogs love it there. Lots of opportunities for then to exercise. One of them seemed torn between coming back home and staying despite his general apprehension around smaller kids”

“We were not disappointed. Bethany and her family gave our husky great care while we were away. We got frequent updates and pictures. It gave us a lot of comfort knowing our dog was in good hands while we were traveling. My 4 year old loved seeing the pictures of what Koda was doing that day. Would book again!!!”

“Leaving our dogs with Jamie's family is like leaving them with family and we are so thankful for that! We never have to worry about them being taken care of while we are traveling. We know our girls are safe and well loved!”

“Sarah is absolutely wonderful. She and her family invited my pup into their home and treated him like he was one of their own. She kept me up to date on how he was doing, sent lots of pictures, spoiled him with treats, and allowed him to get comfortable in her home. I’ll absolutely have Sarah watch my pup again when I need a sitter.”

“Derek was AMAZING. Literally couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of our dogs. He was so attentive and thoughtful. He had thorough communication. We received daily updates and photos. Gus and Daisy already miss their new best friend Derek. We will definitely be seeing him again really soon! 10/10”

“Infinity is amazing!!! She took great care of my pup and was very attentive. She was also communicative and sent me updates everyday which I really appreciated. Pup got lots of love and came back home tired. We will definitely be using again!”

“We have used Emily and her lovely family to care for our senior dog on 2 different occasions and we will not hesitate to reach out again if needed. They have been so flexible and kind both times. I appreciate the great and timely communication. It can be a little nerve wracking leaving an older dog (with some issues) but Emily made us feel very comfortable! 10/10 recommend!”

“Jania and her family treated my pup like an absolute princess while she was in their care! I could not have asked for anyone better to watch my pup on such short notice while I was out of town! 10/10 recommend her! She sent me so many cute pics of my pup while she was in her care! I wasn’t sure my dog would want to come back home after!”

“Aspen was great! This was our first time taking our dog there and we will definitely be going back. We received lots of pictures throughout the weekend and she even took him to the dog park to burn some energy. Overall this was a great experience.”

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. Anything from Dachshunds to Great Danes. I have been through formal training with a good amount of my dogs. I am the pack leader. I love cuddles and often all dogs can be found sitting close to me. I would love a rescue someday. I work from home and am able to take the dogs out often throughout the day. Our dogs sleep with me on their mats in my bedroom. I can feed and water them as much as needed. I watch them often, listen for que’s and or energy change. I am the pack leader, so they know Mama is in charge. I make sure water is full at all times, feed them as needed, give lots of loves and other care such as baths, cleaning ears, etc.
“They took great care of Mr. Wiggins, he was comfy and happy at his sleepover! Ashley & Kyle were flexible and easy to work with, and excellent communicators. Thank you!”

“We love our dogs very much and it’s great to know that we can leave them with people who show them just as much love if not more. Staci is fantastic! This was Lucy’s 4th time and Desi’s first time. As soon as Staci pulls up Lucy gets excited knowing she is going out to the farm. Both our dogs can spend their time with Staci running around the huge yard, playing with other dogs, and having a blast. Both Desi and Lucy came home a took huge naps! We look forward to rebooking with Staci again soon!”

“Our dog was very happy when we picked him up from Thomas! I appreciated that he was willing to do a meet and greet and he shared exercises that he does with dogs to help any nervousness. Our dog is very content and was well cared for today.”

“Nathan is fantastic! He sent pictures and videos throughout and my pup seemed to have a blast! He went to a dog bar, played with neighborhood kids and even helped with yard work.”

Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
