I grew up with a dog, so I know the importance of providing plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while keeping pets safe and comfortable. I've also provided drop-in visits for pets, making sure they were fed, had fresh water, received potty breaks, and got the care and companionship they needed while their owners were away. In addition, my aunt has two cats, so I'm comfortable around cats and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and detail-oriented. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.

About: I have had a multitude of animals since I was young, which has led to many years of experience. I currently have a pet cat and dog. I’m a very active person and love going out in nature for walks and requests for longer walks beyond the 30 minute allotment are definitely welcome! I would love to build a strong relationship with the pets and owners I interact with to help build my experience even more and make your pets comfortable with a familiar face. I have a dog of my own that I walk and I’m a stay at home mom, which allows my schedule to be relatively open. In my clients home I will make sure the pet’s needs are met 100%. This includes making sure they have plenty of water, food and have had an adequate potty break. I will also play with the pet as long as their owner is okay with that.

About: I have taken care of animals all my life, from my own to even cleaning horse stalls. Have experience owning chickens too! Our pets need love and attention just like we do! I will talk to your loved ones, play, walk and feed them. I work from home during the day, if your pet would like to hang out in my office during the day, I do short walks on my breaks. I am also available to stop by in the evenings for walks and feedings. Weekends I’m usually always available, let me know what you need and we can see what works for both of us, to make sure your loved one gets the very best care. About: I've had pets since I was a teenager. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 ferrets and 3 birds (2 cockatoos one quaker parrots). I've recently retired as a Project Manager from the Department of Veterans Affairs after 34 years. I just became retired and so I have plenty of time to hang out, play and entertain your pets. Almost all dogs and cats love me. As a project manager with the VA for the last 25 years I've been in a position of high public trust requiring that I have a background check every 5 years.

About: I've grown up around big dogs my whole life and love all pets more than anything. I believe every pet should feel loved and happy with the humans they around no matter how old, or young, they may be. With a very open schedule, I am happy to commit however long or short needed for your special companion! I am looking to find many jobs throughout my last semester at UNCA. I plan to schedule my days around walks or sittings I may have booked since I only have a few classes. I miss being around my dogs at home so helping care for your pets brings me joy! I respect the client and pets' space- no questions asked. Never hesitate to give me lists and lists of expectations, or just tell me to have fun! Whatever you need done will be accomplished!

About: Growing up, my mom took in just about everything from scaled and slithering to four legged and prancing. I walked our dogs as well as dogs in my neighborhood for a little extra cash as a kid. I work a very open schedule, 7-8 AM leaving 8:30AM - 1:15PM open for me to hang out with your furry friends M-F or after 8 PM for their last walk of the night. Weekends are completely flexible! My dog and I go on three walks a day, so I know the neighborhood pretty, I make sure my furry friends always walk by the grass when we walk and walk in the direction of traffic so we see the cars coming. Your pets will always be on a leash when they’re with me!

About: I've been house & pet sitting for many years. I'm very mature, responsible, and dependable. You can count on me. I love animals but don't have any pets because of my traveling lifestyle, so I love getting to bond with little cuties all over. I am a dance/movement teacher as well as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (a body-based trauma therapy). I work from home on zoom these days, so I am around a lot to give love to your pet. Some of my loves (besides animals) are dancing, traveling, photography, art projects, hiking, being in nature, and fixing up Scooby (my Honda Element that I've turned into a "Hotelement"). I've traveled all over the world until COVID hit, but since then have traveled across the country twice and am so appreciating the beauty of my own country. I am vaccinated and am very careful about COVID as well, so know if I'm in your home, I will be taking good care. I'm happy to take care of your pet in any way you need. The thing I have the hardest time with is saying goodbye to the little ones when it's time to go! I work for myself part-time on zoom (so I'm home a lot), so I set my own hours. This way I can work around the needs of your pet. I love cuddling and playing with pets. If it's allowed, I love having them up on the couch with me when I watch a movie, and don't mind them sleeping in my bed at night.

About: Since I was 16, I have been the go to pet/home sitter for the church I grew up in. Word spread quickly of my reliability and soon, it became a full “part-time” gig. I’ve cared for birds, cats, dogs of ALL sizes, reptiles, fish, mice and lots of other gerbil sized fluff balls. Along with classic domesticated animals, I’m also familiar with caring for a handful of farm animals such as; chickens, goats, and horses. I’m currently working in the wonderful world of Wilderness Therapy. This means I work 15 days in the field and then have 13 days off. During these 2 week periods of free time, I would be honored to care for and get to know your pets! I’m primarily offering housesitting and drop in visits as I have 2 feline friends, Chloe and Noir, at home that are wary of “strangers”. I will spend as much time at your home with your furry child as you’d like, even staying the night if you’d prefer. The mornings and afternoons are dedicated to the doggos, specifically going on walks or getting some exercise! About: All my life, I have been surrounded by animals. As a mental health counselor by trade, I know how important it is to have animals and the connection that they have with their human counterparts. Animals are a part of the family, and I believe that they should be treated as our own. I am a very responsible and loyal pet sitter and I promise to provide excellent care to your fur-babies, so that you can have a restful and relaxing time away. I work full time from 8-5 M-F, and sometimes later. However, I am free most evenings after 6 as well as weekends. I have some holidays available as well so please reach out if you want to have me look after your pets! I have one dog and one cat. I take my dog on 2 mile walks a day and she is very friendly! My cat is my dog's best friend. If I end up taking care of pets overnight, I can arrange care for my own! I try to go to the dog park at least twice a day!

About: I love all animals and love giving them the care and attention you do! If your dog is up for it, I'll take them for a run or to the dog park near my house. Getting outside and running around are very important if your dog is able. As are snuggles, of course. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to do whatever your pup needs. I have a year old Aussie-Hound mix pup also and she loves to play with other dogs. She will be with me most of the time and is a great partner for old or young dogs. I think communication is key, especially in watching your pet! To ensure trust and allow you to rest easy, I'm happy to text and send photos throughout my time with your sweet animal! I feel that it's an honor to be trusted with your pet. I work full time but have flexibility in my schedule to be home with your pets, take them on walks or hikes, play, feed, and snuggle, of course.
