About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. About: I have been an animal lover for life and a dog owner for two years. Before that I have been a dog sitter several times in the UK, where I am from. I have regularly cat-sit for a family, which included taking the little feline out on walks in her harness! I love doing training with my own dog, (who is steadily becoming more well behaved!) and would be happy to incorporate training into my visits with yours. I am a very active person and can play ball, run, and walk with dogs. I know the importance of mental stimulation. I am currently available most days, with the exception of Wednesdays. I know how important it is to respect their space (especially if they're more standoffish) and ensure they have all their resources, especially when their humans are away! Currently working my own flexible schedule so I can make any time work that your fur baby needs. Some pets are used to early mornings and some are used to late evenings. Whatever works for yours! My kitties eat raw, so I make their food daily and give them specific supplements and treats depending on their behavior and the litterbox situation. I'm in tune with my kitty's behaviors and meows knowing what they're requesting in that moment. When caring for other people's pets, I'm mindful of where we use the bathroom (if possible) and clean up appropriately. No details are too many, I'm very supportive of specific needs and how your fur baby may be familiar with their care.

I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. I keep my space clean, dog-proofed, and stress-free so every animal feels comfortable and at home. In Their Home: I follow your pet’s normal routine to keep them grounded and secure. I handle feeding, walking, potty schedules, medication (if needed), enrichment, and plenty of snuggles. I’m big on communication, so you’ll get updates and photos as often as you’d like. About: I've had pets since I was a teenager. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 ferrets and 3 birds (2 cockatoos one quaker parrots). I've recently retired as a Project Manager from the Department of Veterans Affairs after 34 years. I just became retired and so I have plenty of time to hang out, play and entertain your pets. Almost all dogs and cats love me. As a project manager with the VA for the last 25 years I've been in a position of high public trust requiring that I have a background check every 5 years.
About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Currently working for a fire department, schedule can be inconsistent. Great for drop in play times and walks. Days off from fire department can be great for unexpected care. Currently unable to have pets in home due to renting rules. Will make sure to confirm and follow all rules with you before accepting the job.

About: Hey all, I’m currently an animal care professional at an animal hospital handling boarding and some grooming and I’m currently in grooming school, I’m beginning to take clients of my own if interested! I’ve worked with sheltered animals, horses, livestock and strays my whole life. I’ve fully potty trained several dogs including my 8 year old abuse rescue becky, I love grooming in my free time and am training to become an apprentice groomer. About: I have owned dogs my entire life with many cats in between. I have had the pleasure of sitting dogs and cats all over the country, including house sits in California, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina. I have experience with young puppies, as well as elderly dogs with a plethora of health problems; I also have experience with big dogs like German shepherds, Australian shepherds, and Rottweilers, to teacup Pomeranians, spitz, and many more.
