About: I’ve had my two cats for about three years now, and we’ve built a routine together around feeding, playing, sleeping, and everything in between. Every day when I walk through the door, they’re the first two to greet me. I make sure they’re always fed, clean, hydrated, well cared for, and most importantly, safe. I work full time during the week, so I’m generally unavailable during the day, but I’m usually free in the evenings after work and have full availability on weekends. I live in a two-bedroom, ground-floor apartment with a private, enclosed patio where my cats can safely explore outdoors without the risk of escaping. We also have an extra bedroom set up so they have their own space and time when they want it.

About: I’ve had welcomed my first pet ever when I was 10 years old , then in 2012 I’ve have welcome another fur baby to the family . About: My experience with animals goes beyond just having pets of my own! I’ve raised my cat, Khloe, since she was a newborn, cared for my boyfriend’s senior dog Gizmo (RIP), and even helped care for a family member’s puppy (Romeo) who was sick with a UTI. That meant keeping up with more frequent walks and giving the puppy extra attention throughout the week. I’ve also managed to keep three carnival goldfish (Darwin, Sayuri, and Mohawk) happy and healthy for over two years! From young pets who need supervision to senior pets who may need a gentler hand, I’ve learned every animal has different needs, but deserve the same patience consistency and love. I’m also a photographer and artist, so I LOVE catching those goofy moments that fill every pet owners phone gallery. If your pet becomes my buddy, don’t be surprised if you get an entire complimentary photo shoot! I will also be happy to clean your fur baby afterwards (yuck nyc floors) and provide poop bags, toys, treats, etc if needed! I’m currently in college full time, with Mondays and Wednesday’s being my most unavailable days. Tuesday,Thursday,Friday, and weekends are my best days. I have classes Tues-Thurs from 10:45-12pm, and periodically have classes on Thursday from 3:05 to 5:45. This is my last semester, so I will be graduating soon. “Karen was an absolute 5 star cat sitter! She went above and beyond to care for our cat for 10 days that we were out of the country. She shared detailed updates every day with a lot of photos. On a really hot day, she even asked to turn on the air conditioning for our cat and went back to our place to do so after she had left. Our cat is very shy and standoffish and Karen was incredibly patient with her every day. We would definitely choose her again to watch our cat, and would feel very comfortable leaving her in Karen’s capable hands!”

About: There hasn’t been a time in my life when I DIDN’T have a pet. Except for right now, that is. As any dog owner/lover will tell you, your dog is an important member of your immediate family. Losing a pet is comparable to losing a family member. Jake, my pit bull, passed away a little over a year ago. The grief and loss was/is hard to get over, and I’m not ready right now for another dog of my own. But I am and always will be an animal lover, and I will take very good care of YOURS! Due to COVID, I’m currently working part-time. And since I’m able to set my own hours and work schedule in this part-time job, I have the luxury and good fortune right now of a flexible and open schedule that can be adjusted at any time. I’m not currently able to care for pets out of my own home here in Yonkers, but I have a car and I am happy to travel to care for your pet at YOUR home or wherever you need me to be.
