“Oscar was a responsible and trustworthy housesitter during our recent international trip. It can be stressful to leave our animals when we go overseas, but Oscar took care of everything and made the whole experience stress-free. He cared for two dogs, a bunny, and a fish. He is gentle and sensitive to all the animals’ needs and extremely communicative. We’ll definitely have him housesit again!”

7. Jennifer M.
“Jennifer just watched our two dogs while we were on a trip to see family for a funeral. Two days before we left our elderly dog had to have an emergency procedure to her eyes. I was so stressed about leaving, but Jennifer reassured me she would administer all medication and watch over our dog with extra care and extra updates and that everything would be fine while we were away. We couldn't be happier with what an amazing caretaker she is for our pets! I had no doubt they would be in good hands.”

12. Alyssa T.
About: Hello! My name is Alyssa, I have been a large and small dog owner for the last 20+ years and I recently lost my Italian Greyhound mix named Chance to a severe illness 💔. My experience with dogs includes 4 years working in the professional pet care industry (specifically grooming), raising Seeing Eye Guide Dogs for the Blind with my family, overnight stays for a boarding facility, and private dog sitting (anywhere from a few days to a month long). I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes, I have vast knowledge of dog grooming for any maintenance required (brushing, etc), and am K-9 CPR certified. I treat all pups as if they were my own and their happiness and safety is my number one priority! Since losing my own pup to his illness, I’ve been really lonely without my best buddy around. I’d love to love on your fur baby - I’m super qualified and ready for some puppy love. I look forward to meeting your pet! I am a sales rep, so I have a fairly flexible schedule. I’m I like to get out and take walks, and will do whatever is best for your situation and your pet. I’m only available for drop in visits, or in-home boarding. I am not able to watch your pet at my own home, however I’m available for boarding as long as it’s in your own home.
13. Tim & Elena K.
“I can't believe there are people more inspired by pets than Tim. He got along great with our elderly dog. Trust was established from the first time we met. I received constantly exciting photos and videos of walks. I 100% recommend Tim and his wife for safe fun caring for your pets. If all people were like that, we wouldn’t be in troubled !”
14. Anastasiia K.
“Anastasiia was great! I felt very comfortable leaving all my dogs with her and she really handled it well, and I had a new puppy, a one year old dog and two Dobermans! I definitely would have her come back!”
15. Michelle & Nick F.
“Michelle was able to take care of my 3 rescue dogs. One of which is 14 years old, has medical problems, is blind and deaf. Bodhi gravitated towards her immediately. Another who is very shy, Nugget, she was able to get her out of her shell and into the walks, so now when she arrives, Nugget is ready for her walks. My newest who is a Shit-Zu Rescue took to her fast as well. She was patient with them, to the point where they trust her and no one else. 5 Stars!”
16. Eric D.
“Eric has been an outstanding volunteer to work with at Lawrence Humane Society. He demonstrates a strong level of compassion for the animals in our care and develops a personal relationship with each dog he interacts with. Working within the Behavior Department has given Eric an advanced skill set when it comes to dogs' social cues and body language, as well as the ability to make every dog he meets feel loved. I can't recommend him enough for the position of an animal caregiver.”
17. David C.
About: I've been blessed to have two dogs in my life in the past. My first one was an older corgi that I also provided daily insulin shots for. My second was another corgi that I raised from a puppy into adulthood. From this, I learned a lot on how to read a dog's body language and understand when a dog is or is not comfortable with the situation or their surroundings. I tend to be a lot more patient with dogs than I am with people, and that let's me work pretty well with dogs that are stubborn like my last two daughters. I've dog sat for friends and family more times than I can count, and I'm excited to experience Rover with your pets as if they were my own. I recently moved into the area, and now I find myself with a lot of time and a lot of love to share. My schedule consists of a workout in the morning (before 8 am) and then working/relaxing the rest of the day. I typically don't go out besides for meals and spend most of my time at home. Because I work from home, I typically spend my own time either in meetings at work and engage with your pet in the off moments. I'd like to take the dogs on more frequent walks if that's something you're looking for. In regards to your home, I would want to first understand what specific things I should be aware of and what's important to you including privacy. For your pet, I'd like to meet them beforehand outside before coming in. I am also experienced with taking care of freshwater fish.

20. Neha Q.
