“Hector is amazing with my Carrick and was from the very beginning. I'm disabled and found myself in need of a part-time dog walker. My dog is being trained as a service dog but was also rescued from a shelter and does not trust people easily. Hector asked what commands he knew, what was the best way to approach him, didn't flinch when my baby got anxious during their meet and greet. He won my furbaby over so completely that the next morning when Hector showed up for the first walk, Carrick quietly sniffed and accepted him and was more than happy to go on a walk with him. Hector also discovered the best way to walk Carrick on their first walk - I've never seen him come back from a walk so happy before! I cannot recommend Hector enough. He has experience, is intuitive, communicative, respectful, thoughtful, and takes great care of your fur babies. My little man gets the tippy-tappies when he hears him walking up to the door. About: I'm excited to meet you and your dog! I've dogsitted for family friends for a couple years and am familiar with following their own care routines: walking daily, picking up poop in the yard, practicing certain dietary regimens, and senior care. Just let me know what your routine looks like! I have plenty of time on the weekend to take care of your fur baby! As a college student, I try to fit pet care in whenever I can. Generally I am free Fri, Sat, Sun, and Wednes but if you need more help we can try to work something out! I will be available to walk, sit, and drop in at clients' homes! As for on-boarding at my apartment, I sadly won't be able to house your fur baby with my two kitties.

About: I grew up with a rabbit named bunny honey, a bird named Charlie, and I now have my sweet pit/lab mix Soto, whom I adopted! I work full time Mon-Fri but drop in on my own dog during lunch as I work 10 mins away! I am able to keep your baby in my home, if you’re okay with that schedule. I am home during the weekends and go on walks and parks with my own pup, so yours is more than welcome to join. I am an incredible adaptable and patient person. I work with children which definitely calls for patience. I love all animals and treat them as if they are human. Share with me the specifics about your fur baby and I will be sure to treat them with all the love while you’re away!

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was little, as I have never lived without them. I love all animals and always treat them as my own. I love being outside and going on walks and would love to have a dog to take with me on some adventures as I explore San Antonio. I’m very punctual and good about remembering feeding times or understanding what the dogs needs are. I have owned big and small dogs and love them all so much. I have raised puppies but also cared for my blind and deaf dog during his last few years of life so I am experienced in all stages. I do not have a job at the moment because I just moved here so I would have plenty of time! I miss being around my dogs and am hoping to be able to interact with yours! I live in an apartment on the third floor so I don’t have a yard right outside, but my complex offers a beautiful dog park. There is also a dog washing station if I need to clean them up. There are plenty of walking trails close by that I can take them on and plenty of grass areas.

About: I am from Australia and new to San Antonio. I have joined the Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation centre and volunteer there once a week to learn about the native Texan population. I am a nurse and work part-time from home. I can only look after cats, birds, reptiles and fish - basically any animal except a dog! I am a nurse and lucky enough to work flexible part-time hours from home. I will be able to dedicate time and care to your baby! As I only look after cats, birds, reptile and any other small non-dog animals they will be inside the house with me in full cool/heated home with 2 adults to look after their social and physical needs.

Growing up, my family had dogs, cats, and even a raccoon and squirrel for a little while thanks to my grandma lol! So I’m definitely comfortable around all kinds of personalities and energy levels! Right now, my boyfriend and I have two cats and a dog of our own, so caring for pets is a big part of my everyday life. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur babies, and I’d love to help give them the same love, attention, and care I give my own pets. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, walks, or just having someone around to make them feel safe and comfortable, I’m happy to help. I’ll always treat your pets like family! I recently left my full time job to pursue my teaching certification, so I have pretty open availability based on your needs! I will be sure to keep my calendar up to date as well. About: I have lived and worked with pets my whole life, but have been a professional pet care provider for 8+ years. I spent the last 6 years at a doggy daycare in Austin, providing professional care for dogs of all kinds. I am experienced with administering medication, orally and via injection. I am also comfortable and experienced with handling pets that need special attention for behavioral or health reasons. I have two senior kitties of my own, but I love all animals, and enjoy getting to bond with and care for other people's pets. In addition to dogs and cats, I am also experienced with other pets, including reptiles and amphibians, smalls mammals, birds, and farm animals. I recently left my kennel job to move to San Antonio. For the time being, I am unemployed and have full availability! I will update my profile when that changes. I am living in a rental property, and unfortunately cannot care for pets in my own home.
