About: I am from Australia and new to San Antonio. I have joined the Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation centre and volunteer there once a week to learn about the native Texan population. I am a nurse and work part-time from home. I can only look after cats, birds, reptiles and fish - basically any animal except a dog! I am a nurse and lucky enough to work flexible part-time hours from home. I will be able to dedicate time and care to your baby! As I only look after cats, birds, reptile and any other small non-dog animals they will be inside the house with me in full cool/heated home with 2 adults to look after their social and physical needs.

About: I like to treat all pups like people, with kindness and patience. This is their walk so I, for the most part, let them lead the way! I’m mainly there to make sure they’re safe but I always make sure they sniff all the smells at whatever pace they please or help them get some energy out. Please let me know if there is anything specific I can do to contribute as much as possible to their health and happiness <33 I will love your pups like my own and hopefully establish their trust in me while away from their parents. I just recently became a college graduate from the University of Texas in Austin (hook ‘em) and am back home in SATX for the summer! I am hoping to spend some time with your sweet pups as a bonus to enjoying my slow summer. I am a natural caretaker and fierce protector of my fuzzy friends so taking care of dogs is like an extension of myself <3 I have two large dogs at home who love running around, so I am used to the craziness. I make sure to keep any eye on them whenever they are outside and make sure they’re hydrated. I also am a firm believer in adapting to each pup’s personality and finding any way I can to make their experience feel fun and safe.

About: Ability to care for special needs pets, patience with all animals and the attention to detail that every pet owner looks for when trusting their pet to someone else. I live with both my cats, best friends, and look forward to my day-to-day interactions with them, and am excited to meet new pets and help them experience joy, while you're away. Walk, change litter (cat), follow all instructions (if any), play (cats and dogs), water and change their food, and send pictures to owners for updates

About: Hello there! I am a bonafide animal lover. I grew up with cats and dogs ranging from kittens and puppies to senior cats and large breed dogs. This isn’t about making money for me but spending time doing what I love. I always place my pets in the best care when I’m out of town and I can be that for you and your pets. I won’t just check on your pets but bond with them and create a relationship with them. I will communicate with you every time I pet sit your pet and be sure to pay close attention to any unusual behavior to make sure they aren’t becoming ill or have become injured. I am a very attention to detail type person and will be sure to follow any instructions you leave. Monday through Friday anytime after 5pm works best for me, but I’m super flexible Saturday and Sundays and even Holidays. I can come on a regular basis/weekly also. I’m an avid walker and would love the company of walking dogs! So whether that’s around your neighborhood or with your permission to take a them to a park I’m all for it! I’m also more than happy to take care of dogs and cats at your home.

About: My parents bred/showed dogs all my life so I grew up with dogs in all stages of life around and also have experience training and showing. I have a 3 yr old Staffy who does agility and diving. I'd love the opportunity to hang out with your pet. Im not currently working as I am disabled but am looking for something to help me be more active. I'll have plenty of time to hang with your pet. Im available pretty much any time with some notice. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I will respect your home and am big on following whatever directions you have for me for their care.

About: Besides growing up with dogs and other smaller animals like rabbits, I used to volunteer at SPCA of Dallas in high school and worked with dogs. I also have experience working as a vet tech and in college, I helped care for my roommate's dog as well. I am available pretty much all day long, since I am on summer break before heading into my first year for medical school this fall. On weekends I have ample availability as well. I prioritize establishing comfort with pets first, which can be established with enrichment (such as treats, playing, ect.). In my experience, I understand that pets are not all the same and have different personalities. Therefore, I would also like to set clear goals/expectations about pet care with the owner in order for pet sitting to go as smoothly as possible :)

About: Dogs are cool. I've been around them all my life in my own home and homes of others. I've taken care of them as if they were my own and they give us oxytocin, so who doesn't love that! I respect all doggy care desires and boundaries. No discrimination here, big dogs, little dogs etc I enjoy walking, talking, feeding, playing, bathing all furry friends. My schedule varies.
