I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic medications, and following detailed care instructions. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting during weekdays and weekends. I’ll always make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. About: I've spent several years caring for both dogs and cats through pet ownership and pet sitting, and I truly love getting to know each animal's unique personality. I've owned dogs of all sizes—from a corgi to a Saint Bernard—so I'm comfortable with pets of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I have an extensive history of pet sitting for a variety of clients while in high school and in college, and for the past several months, I've also been pet sitting for physicians in the San Antonio Medical Center, and I've really enjoyed helping give them peace of mind while they're away! I'm happy to help with just about any pet-sitting need, whether that's drop-in visits, daycare, overnight stays, or house sitting. I'm also open to caring for all kinds of animals, not just dogs and cats! My goal is always to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away, and to keep you updated so you know they're in good hands. I can't wait to meet you and your pets and give them the same love and attention I'd give my own! I am currently a medical student, but have a pretty light course load this semester! I am typically in class some days of the week from 8am-12pm but am pretty available otherwise! I have no problem stopping by before and after my classes if needed on the days that I am in class (typically 3/7 days of the week). I am very flexible with whatever the rules/ preferences for each pet may be within their house! I understand that each family has different routines with their pets and have no problem doing my best to accommodate them! I also prefer to keep in frequent contact with the owners I have sat for in the past with texts and photos to send updates!

About: I've cared for pets of friends, family, and neighbors, and I understand how important it is to know they're in good hands. I take the time to learn each pet's routine and personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I'm also a proud owner of an orange tabby cat, so I know firsthand the love, patience, and attention our pets deserve. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, or quiet companionship, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. I am new to the area and waiting for my PA credentialing and TX license, which takes several months to be given by the state medical board. While waiting, I have a very open and flexible schedule to cater to any and all pet needs. I am happy to do drop-in visits or walks with pets in and around their own homes, even multiple times a day if needed.

About: I have always had a family dog (or two) around and know how important they are to you! Just recently we lost our two dogs (Conner—16 and Copper—13) and miss the love and energy they brought to our lives! I know the peace of mind having good help can bring to a pet owner and believe I can help whenever your furbaby needs me! I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, so I will have plenty of time to give your pet all the attention they need! I enjoy being outside so potty breaks and walks are no bother at all! My backyard is fully fenced in with grass in the majority of the yard. I am very good at recognizing when dogs need to burn off energy with play time or when they need extra attention. If you have a routine/schedule that works for your pet, I am happy to oblige!

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was little, as I have never lived without them. I love all animals and always treat them as my own. I love being outside and going on walks and would love to have a dog to take with me on some adventures as I explore San Antonio. I’m very punctual and good about remembering feeding times or understanding what the dogs needs are. I have owned big and small dogs and love them all so much. I have raised puppies but also cared for my blind and deaf dog during his last few years of life so I am experienced in all stages. I do not have a job at the moment because I just moved here so I would have plenty of time! I miss being around my dogs and am hoping to be able to interact with yours! I live in an apartment on the third floor so I don’t have a yard right outside, but my complex offers a beautiful dog park. There is also a dog washing station if I need to clean them up. There are plenty of walking trails close by that I can take them on and plenty of grass areas.

“Hector is amazing with my Carrick and was from the very beginning. I'm disabled and found myself in need of a part-time dog walker. My dog is being trained as a service dog but was also rescued from a shelter and does not trust people easily. Hector asked what commands he knew, what was the best way to approach him, didn't flinch when my baby got anxious during their meet and greet. He won my furbaby over so completely that the next morning when Hector showed up for the first walk, Carrick quietly sniffed and accepted him and was more than happy to go on a walk with him. Hector also discovered the best way to walk Carrick on their first walk - I've never seen him come back from a walk so happy before! I cannot recommend Hector enough. He has experience, is intuitive, communicative, respectful, thoughtful, and takes great care of your fur babies. My little man gets the tippy-tappies when he hears him walking up to the door. A dog that usually takes months to warm up to folks. If you hire Hector you will not be disappointed. You will have a reliable, skilled and trustworthy person to take care of your furbaby.”
