I work Monday-Friday from 6 am to 8 pm. I dog walk in the morning and late afternoon. My schedule varies weekly depending on animals I’m taking care of.

Every client is different and requires unique care. I will follow whatever instructions necessary to insure your pets’ safety in your home. I create a checklist for each client and go through it for each visit. The checklist will be sent to the client every day their pet is in my care.

Things I like to know and will ask during the meet and greet are: Is your dog reactive? How do they act with strangers? How do they act during walks? Do they take medications? Where do they sleep? What is their eating schedule? I like to be very informed. I will even ask if your pet drinks tap or filtered water.
A typical day
Depending on the pet, a typical day with me will include a walk, play time, feeding, and cleaning after your pet. Cleanliness is so important to me. And of course, lots of pets and attention!

Pet care experience
Growing up I had multiple pets. My sister and I would bring home strays and nurse them back to health. We have owned snakes, chickens, hamsters, a cockatiel, dogs, cats, rabbits, and a turtle. I am pretty experienced with every pet. Right now, my family has three cats and two dogs. My chihuahua, Chloe, is like a daughter to me. Animals are a big part of my life and they make me happy. My childhood would not have been the same if animals weren’t involved in it. I have been a full time pet sitter/ dog walker for the past five years, and I have learned so much about the nuances of animal behaviors and needs. Taking the time and having the patience to cater to every dog/cat/rabbit/bird personality is what is most important to me to insure your pet has the most loving and professional care possible. My goal is to get to know a pet just as well as their family does. If your pet has medical needs, I can administer medication. Please feel free to message me with any questions or concerns. I can’t wait to befriend more animals.

This was our second time hiring Cristina to take care of our older cat while we're out of town, and we (and the cat!) are just as happy with the care and attention she gave him as we were the first time. She clearly both really loves animals and understands their needs on a deeper level than just the basics of food/potty/play. She's exactly the kind of person we feel comfortable leaving our boy in the care of. Highly recommend!
