“So happy we found Megan through the Rover app! We have 3 dachshunds that can be quite a handful. These dogs are spoiled rotten and well established members of our family. To say they are high maintenance is understatement! We never had the ability to travel, as the dogs health and welfare always took precedence. We finally took the leap and was able to pre interview Megan on a meet and greet. She showed up exactly on time and met our babies. Needless to say, dachshunds aren't easily impressed. They are fiercely loyal and territorial and a bit snooty. After quelling the initial barking session, Megan sat on the floor and the dogs were instantly attracted to her. We were able to go on our trip feeling our dogs were in good hands and well cared for. Megan fulfilled all her visits and job duties above and beyond what was contracted. Her check ins with us were right on time. She spent extra time on her own playing with the dogs. When we came back, it was amazing to see how well they took to Megan. They didn't want her to leave! Most importantly, our dogs were not stressed because they were able to stay in their own home, tended to by a trustworthy caring individual. Megan YOU ROCK!”

About: I’ve been around dogs ever since I was 5 years old. When my family got our first puppy, I helped train her general skills like sit, stay, heel, etc. Growing up it was also a responsibility of mine to walk, feed, bathe, and play with her. Summer 2022 I was a vet tech at a humane society in my hometown, and delivered medical care to the dogs and cats there. May 2024 I helped my friend deliver 10 beautiful German Shepherd puppies! I love dogs of all kinds and can promise the best care for yours! I am a college student at Texas A&M. While I do have class every morning, I have time to go feed and hang out with a pet in the morning, check in and play midday, and again feed and hang out with them in the evening. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure that when taking them outside, they are in a fenced in area. If there is no fenced in area, I will have the pet on a leash. Every time I go check on the pet, the pet has fresh water and is fed when instructed. I also make sure to spend time with the pet so it doesn’t feel lonely, whether that is playing with a toy, going on a walk, or just giving the pet some ear scratches! I know that pets can miss their owners so I want to make them as comfortable and happy as possible.

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was young. I took care of multiple seniors animals. I love all the kisses and fun with pets Just give me a call at any time if you need me to watch your fur babies. I love watching and playing with any animal I will have a leash on the dog when going outside if there is not a fence in yard. If there is a fence in yard I will first make sure there is no animals they can chase and also make sure there is no holes in or around the fence. I will stay out there until they get done and make sure I watch so they don't give over heated

About: I've been a Pet Sitter with Rover since October of 2020 and am currently in my second trimester of pregnacy with my second child - so pet sitting is my main source of income and takes priority over everything right now. In addition to in-home care, I also have experience working in a corporate boarding facility and I foster dogs/puppies throughout all stages of adoption. About: I've helped friends and neighbors pet sit, walk, feed, check in for pets since I was 15. For me it's another way to spread love in the world. I work split shift M-F so I have time to care in the middle of the day to care for pets when others may still be working or away from home. I have a small fenced in yard at a quiet apartment complex. They will be given quite a bit of affection and compassion. For walks I always speak happily so they feel comfortable and happy to go with me.

About: I have been keeping fur babies for over fifteen years. Also we have four fur babies of our own and they love to play. We have a westie, cocker spaniel, schnauzer, and yorkie. The fur babies get to sleep in the bed if you let them, can lay on the couch, and they get treats. Have a huge fenced back yard where they can play. Dog beds are places they can lay down. I also can groom your baby while here or give a bath if needed. I will give medication if needed too. If you need to I can come to your house and take care of your baby, bring in the mail , turn lights on and off, what ever is needed done. Also Terminix come once a month to take care of yard for ticks. They come every 4 months for fleas.

About: Hi I’m Joy! Welcome to our home. I have cared for dogs and pets my whole life and have professionally worked with dogs for the last three years as a self employed dog breeder, groomer and care giver. Our home is equipped to watch over several dogs at a time and multiple dogs from each family. My husband and I both work from home so our pets and furry visitors receive lots of love and attention all day long. I am a full time pet caregiver in our home so our routine is structured and flexible based on your pets specific needs. A typical day in our home looks like the following: first potty break by 7:00am to run around in our fenced in yard and enjoy the cool morning weather. We then rotate going in and out for food, playtime, training time, and rest time throughout the day. Since I am fully focused on the pets I’m responsible for, I will cater our schedule to YOUR pets specific needs. We typically spend most of our afternoons inside since Texas is hot and our doggies deserve to rest in our temperature controlled puppy house. In the evenings we will have our last potty break typically between 9:00-10:00pm before lights out. We have a security camera in our puppy area to keep a close eye on the pets in our care to ensure safety and comfort. As mentioned in the schedule above, we take comfort and safety very seriously in our home. We strive to give all dogs in our home a happy and safe experience while away from their owners. We are pet owners ourselves and will treat every pet under our care as if they were one of our own.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life. They are everything. I have 2 mini dachshunds and they hold my heart. I feel all dogs are special and need the love and attention you'd give a baby or child. I am known to stop in the middle of the road to convince strays they need to get in my car, and they usually do, if I can't find the owner I then take them to a non kill shelter to be cared for and follow up on every one. I feed my babies only the best food and only make or give veggies as treats, except for the beef/chicken broth (low sodium of course) ice cubes after a long hot walk. I have flexible availability and am always willing to work my schedule to accommodate as many people as possible without compromising time for the pups. I can do doggie day care, walks or drop ins. I can board 1 overnight but no more because I have to consider my pups well-being as well. They do love other dogs though. They enjoy the dog park a lot. I owned a cleaning business for 10 years and often cared for the customers dog while there and also boarded and/or sat with one of my customers multiple times. I am currently working from home on a flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to spend with the pups. Most of my time is dedicated to my pups and anyone in my care. I have a nice size fenced in yard with plenty of room to play. There are pups on all sides of my fence so there are neighbors for the pups to chat with...and give a good back and forth fence run.

About: I work as a veterinary technician, so you can be sure your baby is in good hands! I have worked in the vet med field for 4.5 years now. If your baby has any medications, rest assured I will be sure to give them on time. I will follow whatever schedule your baby is used to! I have fostered several fur babies in my home and know the importance of providing plenty of affection and attention. I know your pets are very important members of your family and will treat them as if they were my own! I currently work full time during the week. I am available for drop in visits while you're out of town on the weekends so I can be sure to give your fur baby the proper care and attention! I am very conscious of keeping with your pets usual routine so that they are as comfortable as possible while their family is away. I will be very respectful of your home and will be sure to leave in the same condition that I found it. I absolutely love caring for animals, it's my life's work!
